Just discussing in the March Madness thread how cool the Spy Bundle is, Silent Winter! :D Really great concept to have bundles linked to the "theme" of the newest character. Thanks so much for all the work you put into it!

I have renders, but everyone was so down, I thought it best not to post. I can if you would like? I am not crazy about the Josephene ones, want to redo them actually, lighting blew them out.

At least she's all sorted to spy out those responsible: https://www.daz3d.com/enemy-agent-bundle*

*full disclosure: I made the SpyStuff props in that bundle (and ThoseThings did the awesome poses) so I'm perhaps biased towards liking it ;) - I do like the look of that Spy Kit (by Esis and FenixPhoenix) too though :)

LOL   And I purchased the bundle- really liked your SpyStuff props. Made me laugh, very creative. Nice job!

Both the Spy Kit and the Spy Props look awesome. At first glance I think Spy kit will be a little more useful for me as it is a little more on the realistic side but both looks great and the bundle is in my cart and will pull the trigger on it soon (pun intended).

I haven't used actual Josephene yet but here is a combo of Scarlett with most of Josephene dialed out, Lanna, and some Mousso characters and the DForce Soft Curls Hair  https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-soft-curls-for-genesis-8-and-genesis-3-females You don't need to dForce it, you can just use parameters, but it's hard to see in the viewport. In texture mode you can kind of see what you're doing.

I rendered with the denoiser and the BG scene with shaders rendered super fast but Scarlett's skin took forever and the hair seemed to take as long but it could because of my lighting.

As I mentioned before, I like everything in the bundle EXCEPT Josephene herself.

Does anyone else have a lot of missing thumbnail pngs in Josephene's Materials library? I only install via DIM and they are definitely not in the ZIP.

I came here to see if I was the only one. Glad I'm not going insane. :)

Does anyone have a working link to the Operation Arrowhead Spy Kit for Genesis 8 Female outfit from the Enemy Agent Bundle. I asked in the sales error  thread too but no reply yet. Sorry to be impatient but it's unusual with dubble holsters, usually there's only one holster even though the character in the promo pick is holding two guns.

I didn't even notice this was part of the bundle until you mentioned it :). However Richard has reported it (from your sales thread post) so we should get a fix soon.

  • I saw the outfit in the promos for the hair but I didn't notice it either in the bundle until I saw someone asking about the holsters on facebook,  the artist who made the outfit answered that it's part of that bundle.

  • alex86firealex86fire Posts: 1,130

Yes, after you mentioned it was part of the bundle I checked it again and it was there. Only as link, not as picture, as it probably isn't in the store, or the link is wrong.

About the outfit being in the promos, there are plenty of times were outside outfits are used for promos so I didn't even pay it attention.

  • This is what the artist behind the outfit writes about it on facebook when someone asked about the holsters:" It's included in the Operation: Arrowhead spy kit for Genesis 8 Female at Daz. That image shows the entire kit: outfit, plus guns, holsters... all of it accept the hair. That's sold separately. I know,'cause I made it all." He doesn't mentioned if it were due to release today however.

If it's included in the bundle, it should be. I've never seen a bundle include a product that wasn't released yet.

The missing outfit has been reported.

  • memcneil70memcneil70 Posts: 5,374

Well that explains why the bundle seemed to cost more than the four items by themselves at first. I totally missed that outfit. Looking at what I can see from the hair's promos it is something I would like to have. I hope it comes through for us.

    Thanks for highlighting this!

  • You're most welcome! smiley I'm glad I noticed it on facebook, it was on the DAZ Studio Artists — Discussion for 3D artists who use DAZ Studio group. I was so dissapionted that it wasn't mentioned what outfit that was used in the hair promos, and very excited when I found out it was a avaliable (hopefully) outfit.

Here is an "out of the box" test of Lorne, and the Incognito outfit. The coat still intersects with the boots with dForce or parameters... The legs are not that far apart. Easily fixed in post, but still... Otherwise I like theoutfit and character. Love the boots!

I like that outfit. Reminds me of the videoclip for "Nikita" by Elton John. (I admit, I had a crush on that lady when I was a kid)

Glad you like the outfit :)
There's a couple of ways to fix - the shin handles should take care of most poke throughts there. You can also try selecting the left thigh bone in the dress and use the parameter dials to adjust it slightly. There is also using the push modifier layer in the coat to paint it out with a weightmap.

Cool props! Thanks for the explosion planes; I can always use more of them.

@memcneil70 Yes, please, this is a formal request.

The Incognito Outfit reminds me of the restaurant scene in "Anna," but there is no white version?

Nice render, Greybro. And thanks for the men's jacket and morphs!

Thanks - The theme bundles are Daz's idea - when they told us about the spy theme I stopped what I was working on to get some Bond-esque gadgets done. Glad you like them :)

Thanks to the others for the kind comments too :)
