You may be thinking of the phrase "gets on my wick" or "getting on my wick" which is used like "gets on my nerves". I believe it came from Cockney "rhyming slang" and I've heard the phrase used by members of Monty Python and by the character Onslow on the BBC series "Keeping Up Appearances" (gotta love Onslow).

Someone could figuratively "get on your wick", Misty, but not literally, because...well...in here we call it "toast". :red:

i used to watch those bbc shows.

3-4 in of snow so far, didn't see any ice. Weather radar looks like it may be about done here. Temps are 31-33 F so probably no hard freezing. (crosses fingers)

Why did you put that all over my back yard and my front yard and the neighbor's yard and the whole neighborhood? How did you put it on all the roofs?

oh wait maybe it is real real snow.

a betta fish is a little inexpensive fish that can live in a half gallon tank. He is something I can take care of to show that I am doing better.
