Snuck in just long enough to say...Merry Chrisymas to all my friends here at Daz!
Back to the family!
:-)
Merry Christmas!!!!
Joyeux Noel!
alrighty then...
hope everyone got there wishes for Christmas. Mine was filled with love and family and was wonderful after being so sick this year.
Now let's get back to the competition before everyone gets smashed for the New Year. I'll start commenting on all the renders so far soon. Still got the insomnia thing going. *tosses several snowballs into the forum to start a snowball fight*
let's start things off by official giving Dollygirl credit for winning the 1-hour mini contest
I just loved everyone's renders this year. But it just stood to reason that she should win. Great idea of using the emotiman for making the snowman. There were some close runner's up as well but that one just did it for me this year.
I'm glad you're at least feeling better, Jeeperz!
Dana
I'm also glad you are feeling better jeeperz.
Throws snowballs into the thread.
so you all have made this an easy month. only 6 entries so far. come on now, I know it's the holiday's... but let's see some more renders everyone. only a few more day until the end of the month.
smoke, your links check out.
ENTRY ACCEPTED!
I'm on day number 1 of getting sleep, Got 6 hours last night WHOHOO . maybe now I can start to pay attention
thanks Dollygirl,
Only 4 days left this month. The holidays has kept everyone VERY busy I see. Maybe next month will pick up.
So far here is the schedule for 2014:
Jan - Kismit2012
Feb - open
March - Robkelk
April - Dollygirl
May - open
June - music2u4u (Summer Fun and Pinups)
July - open
August - open
September - open
October - music2u4u (Monster Mash Halloween Bash)

Anyone wishing to host a month next year, please PM me, Jeeperz, Dollygirl, or Chohole with your request. Please have a theme in mind when you do. The theme can be a secret to the public until you are ready to release it if you like. We will give any info and help to anyone new who may want to try hosting, sure is fun.
:-)
Hey Smoke...I really like your entry. The lighting is AWESOME! The overall feel is very Christmasy and good. I couldn't help but notice that this guy would make a great drinking buddy for Louie (Do Real Man)...lol. Has his own cooler too! Good job friend.
:-)
Hey Smoke...Thanks for the compliment on my Santa's Workshop Cabin. I worked real hard on making it.
:-)
Your welcome jeeperz. Glad to hear you are on the mend!
Now that I know Genesis has a child morph, I feel comfortable with this theme for March: "Just Like Daddy/Mommy"
Now to go find more freebies for this month...
The theme for January's Contest is going to be Chinese New Year.
Now to get back to the entry for the month.
Darn driveway has been a major distraction.
music, you are welcome. I truly enjoy the workshop...it is very easy to see that a great deal of time and energy was put into making the model such a detailed and awesome looking item. And thanks for the compliment on the lighting. That was the part of the scene that took the most time to get it to look the way I wanted.
Still a few days left to enter the challenge.
:-)
Okay starting my snowman for the mini-contest
Amy
Amy sorry to tell ya that the snowman contest ended Dec 14. :-S
Doh! Oops!
Amy
You can still do one just for practice if you want. Seems a little slow in this thread. I know, I know tomorrow I will be hopping around with my head cut off with all of the new entries. I know rob is working on one something to do with wonderland :ohh:

Well, isn't that the theme? "Winter Wonderland"?
Well, isn't that the theme? "Winter Wonderland"?
Well doh! I guess so. LOL
I've almost finished one. Just need to find my links and tweak the lighting.
Last day of the month, anyone wanting to get a render in before midnight better get going. Just a few hours left...
I'll throw some snowballs around for anyone that enters the thread.

Edited to correct and add missing links
Kismet, you made it. Your links check out. The one link to the LBS bag is for PC members only so that one technically does not count. However I found your snowman and sleigh here:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=13449
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=73062
so you are well within the minimum number of freebies.
ENTRY ACCEPTED
Thanks Dollygirl.
Happy New Year.
And why not? I have fond memories of sledding down some big hills. And she seems to have a reindeer-pulled sleigh to bring her back up the hill.
