Oh no, I said 1 was most important.
Another thing that's broken is they say which of the following subscription services do you use netflix etc, and then have radio buttons, so you can only select one.
I also had to select 1 item under "what will you be willing to pay for" even though I wouldn't necessarily pay for any of those without more info.
I definitely think they should have given us an option to insert our own item into "what do you want from PC+" you are forced to rank a lot of things that don't really matter to you without being given the option to tell them what you really want. For me, it would have been more useful to rank each one out of 10.
small nitpick- how often do you use Daz studio needs "other," because I can use it every day for a month, 12 hours a day and then not use it for 3 months again. It just depends on what I am working on at the time.
Anyway, hope that feedback helps them for the next one.
the more i think about those questions, the more worried I get. I'm wondering if these were all things they WANT to bring into the PC+, and WILL bring in - and the feedback was simply to see which we consider important enough to have implemented first.... there are literally thousands of free tutorials on the web (youtube etc) and tutorials to buy in the store...why would I want membership price to go UP just to have access to those? Or a special avatar for the forums to show I"m a PC+ member (seriously????? what am I, 12 years old??) Or priority customer service - the customer service here is pretty good as it is, why pay more to get quicker answers when you may never use it?
I did look and since I have no subscription services whatsoever unsure what I would put
most of it was unfillable for me so I didn't bother trying
I think a new person would be very put off by people with badges but that's DAZ's call
and as for exclusive content, I think that would actually put me off joining as I find those tactics dirty
Ok, lets turn this thread into something a little more positive and a litte less speculative.
For those who took part in the survey (thanks..!) and found it lacking in options and/or answers.. use this opportunity now to post what you'd like to see from the PC membership... either from a non-member or existing member perspective.
The point behind the poll, like I said, is for us to get a bit more of a fresh perspective of what the membership as a whole is feeling. I can often bring up anecdotal comments from the forums, but that (as it's been said before) only represents a very small, albeit vocal, segment of the customer base. Also, to help us get a feel if theres anything stopping people becoming members in the first place.
I don't want any fear-mongering of price-rises, what-if's and speculation about impending doom since that was not the point of it all. We want to be proactive, and reach out for feedback, but we do need to start somewhere. I'm responsible for the PC+ and I want to see it grow and for that to happen I'd like to get a real handle on the mindset of customers.
Simply opening it out as open-ended questions generally leads to basically every answer under the sun.. which is why we've started where we have. It's not a one and done.. and if things come back as inconclusive, well, we'll try again.
Well I think actually discussing the questions is going to give you more feedback than just ticking the least incorrect options
I can give you feedback on why I am not in the PC+ in spite of a very good discount offered and a free week though
I have other more pressing expenses and that free week actually resulted in me spending money I would not have otherwise because of the savings!
What I would like to see is more male content and of good quality, I know the old male stuff doesn't sell line but honestly the PC club is worse than the rest of the store, personally I feel it should be a lot more balanced.

Sometimes people drop out of membership for various reasons (finances, illness, etc), and when they return to the PC+ the membership 'seniority' starts from zero, and all their previous time in the PC+ counts for nothing, as we recently found in current sales. Would it be reasonable to have membership longevity be cumulative, rather than lost when we take a break from PC+?
On the face of it.. I'd like to say sure.. sounds reasonable.
I'm assuming that in practice, the store only knows if you're a member, and how long that membership has been active.. so it would need work to then add up all of those membership periods etc. How tricky that is.. I have no idea, but consider it noted.
Since almost all essential items are not PC+, then if Daz make all of PC plus items free to use for PC+ members what will happen? Everyone will join PC+?
Well it looks like this idea technically not feasible becuase how Daz deny access to downloaded content if membership expire.

I hate surveys where the results are weighted in one direction.
Better to offer an idea and let us rate it on a scale of 1-9.
1 = I would trade my firstborn for this.
5 = I don't care either way.
9 = You should drive a Smart Car 24-7 in LA traffic for the rest of your life for even thinking of this.
I had to click, wait, click, wait, click....a few times, but eventually the survey did send.
Some of the possible "benefits" of PC club made me mad. The "special avatars" and "exclusive content" in particular. Those are divisive gimmicks, not features that serve customers. I'm already in PC club, but I have so much content that I don't know if I'll renew when the time comes. Nonsense "bonuses" like that might push me right over the edge to "nope."
But that's an interesting question to explore.. if it's not content that would keep you interested, what would?
Seriously, the reason I have PC+ is the free stuff and lower prices.
So, what do I want?
Simple. More free stuff, even lower prices.
The rest, as far as I'm concerned, is window dressing.
Although from what I've seen in the forums, some people would probably join if PC+ gave them access to older versions of Studio.
Customer service is already great, little room for improvement.
My favorite thing about the membership forum is the contest threads. Store wise, I really like how the products are linked to user images in the gallery. Sometimes, user images give a better look at products than the promos or present interesting kit bash ideas that make an item more attractive as a buy.
How about a better shopping experience? I get so frustrated with the store, I frequently just dump my cart here, because prices in the cart often keep changing. And so I go buy from Rendo, even though the prices are a little higher, because I know to the minute when a sale price ends, and if I put it in my cart the price is correct, and it's all done in minutes, instead of having to wait hours for the store software to settle.
As for content, I've been buying for Studio (and earlier for Poser) for about 20 years, so in the last couple of years I've been uninstalling older content faster than I've been buying new, and even then a lot of content just sits in my runtime, unused.
So, for some of us old timers, there's not a lot you can offer, except as Mwoke and others posted, reducing the cost.

I don't think anyone is interested in an Adobe-style subscription disguised as a "membership".
what i like about pc+ is the discounts, coupons and freebies I mean doesn't like freebies ok there are some that don't. And again those discounts mean a lot as in my money Australian those prices can be pretty high sometimes + half or more on top of the US price for example one order full price $116.75 - usual % discounts was $57.20 after PC+ (-$24.75) was $32.45 converted to Australain my total $50.12
So yeah PC+ helps me a lot. Pity fastgrab is excluded from the coupons, sometimes hard to find something for the $6 coupon that requires at least $18 in cart still within budget try to find something each month hate to see it go to waste
