So I received a Daz survey email.  I filled out the thing, but the last page is stuck in a loop, and keeps coming up again after I click the "DONE" button.  Oh well.

It finished for me after I clicked "done" three or four times.

  • I had to redo mine 4 times and only completed it after hitting done mulitple times and switching to a different browser.

Same. It kept all my answers though so I just had to hit the done button a couple times.

This survey failure is really annoying.

And it really irks me that question 7 (which if any would you be willing to pay for) forces you to check at least one item, even if you are not interested in paying extra for any of them.

We need a survey for the survey.

a pretty lame survey ~ but it worked all the way through for me.

but having no option for not willing to pay anything is really beyond it!

it don't go any further unless you select a paying option... which is bullcrap!  angry

Lol that would probably not work either. ;-)

And how many of us specified 'better documentation' as the single best way to improve the experience?

Also, not having a "Don't Care" option on the 1 to 10 ranking list was rank.

I hit "Done" about three times before it finally submitted the survey.  When I had to list my Daz email login, I had a bit of a brain fart.  I have a few too many email addresses.  cheeky

  • It's not letting me answer Question 8 - I spend a minute selecting numbers for every option, click the button, and it wipes my numbers and tells me it needs an answer to the question.

  • How long does it take to get the coupon?

The most amusing thing about this survey to me, was that I got it while I was browsing at the other store. cheeky

I Highly agree. There should have been a provision for selecting NONE

LOL, same answer I gave, or tried to give that answer.  In the end, I didn't bother going further after getting the last part 3 times.

Normally, in a survey like this, they ask you for general comments, they don't ask you to choose one, and only one thing, that you want to see improved.  They need to scrap this and have a think and do it properly.

    This.

I'm not interested in more or exclusive marketing, I'm interested in more and better features.

Exactly! there needed to be an option of "none" or "write other here". I skipped that question cos I'm not willing to pay for any of the three options - I'm not interested in them. But i had to go back and answer it.

Not sure if I'm going to get it or not.  After cycling through twice, I unblocked some scripts from my scriptblocker, and it seemed to accept that I was done...

But yeah, there were problems with some of the assumptions on the questions.  Heck, one of the demographics didn't cover my education level, so I went with "prefer not to say"

And I completely agree with the problems on 7.  I don't want to pay for any of them either.  I didn't want any of them (I ultimately picked the one that I'd not mind having a separate charge for, but I'd be miffed if I had to pay for it even if I wasn't using it.)

Daz is making us all lie!

    oh the shame... devil

I wonder if I can get into confession this week.. angel

I did think the options for 1-10 about features was interesting. (Rank them)  I could care LESS about having an avatar in the forums showing I was a PC+ member!

Let me get this straight... DAZ has monkeys sending people survey emails?
I miss the old days when it was giraffe based polling.

The problems with the DAZ surveys is that the questions they ask and the options they give are basically giving them exactly the result they are looking for. It's basically manipulating/forcing you into a certain way of answering. What it won't give them is a feedback of what customers really want, or pointing out failing issues.

Whoever creates those surveys might want to re-read carefully whatever books they used during their university studies.

In Safari, View - Reload Without Content Blockers was the key to getting it working.

you can use multiple browsers to fill in the survey

does that mean multiple $5 vouchers.... cool

I do lots of surveys each week and this is fairly common.  When I didn't see Associate's listed, I said, "Of course!" lol

Does your friend have multiple email addresses associated with Daz store accounts?

    Same for me: no problems.

  • barbultbarbult Posts: 26,271

Maybe they fixed it. Were you forced to select an item you'd be willing to pay for in question 7?

  • Apparently when one replies to an email, it automatically opens a support ticket ... if you reply twice, it opens two support tickets ...

[sound of clearing throat] ... they get merged into one by the very patient support staff ... who, going by the last post, have maybe fixed this issue. I don't know ... think I best I go away for awhile ;-) Maybe if I spend more money they will forgive me ... no wait, that's guilt spending, not a good idea.

I agree that all those questions were not providing proper responses per sa. Aimed perhaps to get us ready for they plan to charge more for some services? Which one would we pick? hmm ...

Didn't have my higher education type mentioned either, not all countries have the same terms for various types. So yeah, "prefer not to say" ...

Nobody is getting penalized by the Almighty for telling untruths in these types of surveys, rest easy there.
