I ordered pizza from papa johns dot com.  Ordering took forever and so did delivery.  It will be bed time as soon as I finish eating.

Complaint:  I can feel myself starting to come down with a cold.  I'm at the "nose is itchy, nose is persistently drippy", stage. frown  I'm usually very careful about touching public things with my hands (door handles, shopping cart handles,  etc. and try to either use my sleeve or elbow or wear gloves, and wash my hands soon after.  But it's warm weather again and I have no gloves, am wearing short sleeve shirts and I apparently picked up some lurking germ.  Next stage will be the spreading of the itch and drip to both nostrils, then sore throat, then coughing and thickening congestion, fever, general blahs, a couple nights zonked out on NyQuill, piles of soggy Kleenex and finally gradual recovery.  I've got my next 10 days all mapped out. no  Need to get to store to stock up on Kleenex and NyQuill while I still feel like getting out of the house.indecision  Happy days are here again! crying

Yesterday I saw that banner thingie saying "buy these characters".  So I did.  Pro bundles, every one of them.  In my defense, they were only $25 each.  I actually had just under $200 in store credit, so I spent all of that and paid like $10 for the difference.  So now I guess I need to get off my duff and get DIM installed on this new laptop, huh?

Came down with one myself the other day too aaaaa

Only real thing bugging me right now is the sore throat - the nostrils have been very well behaved for the most part.

was a hero at work for less than 5 minutes, cuz i know how to make an .ico from ms paint.

but now they want a ico with alpha mask, i don't know how to do that with ms paint.

internet seems to think 24 bit bitmap supports alpha layer, but don't see how to do it?

The file format might support layers, but MS Paint doesn't create layers (even the 64-bit version).

    I think Paint.NET might?

work doesnt give us any graphic utilities.

    saw some hits on paint.net

in other complaints, oracle is an ugly database.  they gave us a dinky reporting tool, but exporting report to excel, excel not recognizing dates as dates.

Try GIMP... I use it to make ico icons... I’ve never done one as a transparency though... I should give it a try next time.

    EDIT-

I tested it... apparently you can do it... I cheated though... I imported a PNG I had made in photoshop a while ago to save time... but anyway, you have to use “Export As...” and then in the menu box, choose the ico format... I had to enter the new extension type (.ico) in the “save as” box or it kept saving it as a PNG.

Complaint:  I wanted to use a dinosaur from this store.  It's not very new, but the DIM gladly installed it after my last hard drive crash some time ago.  Opened up DAZ|Studio...couldn't find it.  There were some dinosaurs listed...all it had was .def files.  Looked in Poser format library...none of the stuff was listed.  I had to go into the file system and drag and drop the .cr2 into DS.  No rigging showed.  I found poses for it, dragged one of those and it worked, so it must have rigging.  Why does the DIM install it if it isn't going to show up anyway?  Looks like I'll have to make a whole new Poser format runtime for all my old DAZ3D purchased items that are not in current DS format and reinstall them all.  I am not amused!

my work load is so huge

going as fast as i can but feel like i in slow motion.

got  a 3 years of documents to suck into a database table.  there's no consistency, cant look for key words, could be anything. for example, all the hvac maintenance.  relay in the generators, sometimes they give the vendor name.  sometimes they give the ticket number.  i'm gonna have to match up work orders in date ranges.  cludgy and ugly.

Well, the bright side is that they don't have an AI system to do it and put you out of a job! frown

And just think, when you're done you'll have so much useless information in your brain about the old paperwork schemes, that you could qualify as an expert at something that somebody might someday want to know. enlightened  I remember when COBOL programmers were desperately called out of retirement during the "Millenium" panic.

When I was in my middle teens (I think the wheel had just been invented) my father purchased a set of photocopied land title documents that had been created from the county courthouse archives when a mapping company originally used them as source material for making new land maps.  The old records were on 8x10 inch unbound pages in 1100 cardboard boxes about 2+ inches thick (about 500 pages/box).  My father then hired me and a couple of my friends to go through all of the boxes and sort them into the 30+ townships within the county.  When we were done he sold the corresponding sets to the individual township governing bodies to have for their own archives. (this was in the '60s, long before digital storage was even a dream).  My friends and I sat in my bedroom which had been converted into a sorting room with long shelves of boxes and sorting pidgen holes for each township and worked all summer long sussing out the township name and stapleing the corresponding pages of a complete document and tossing it into the appropriate pidgeonhole.  But when it was done we knew a lot about land ownership and transfers in the county all the way back to 1805.  It became really hard when we reached the point before typewriters were around and everything was handwritten.  At one point we got to read a copy of the will of William Wadsworth Longfellowsurprise.  However, all that experience proved to be useless information that nobody, ever called us to be experts about.  Fair warning though... if they ever need our expert knowlege, they better hurry, one of the three of us has already died. indecision

I had a similar issue with Aiko 4. I was playing around with archived content. I hadn't reinstalled it after upgrading my computer several years ago. I installed using DIM, as well. I eventually found her by selecting Poser Format, then searching through My Library. She showed up all rigged and ready to go. I was quite surprised how much of the old CR2 content I had in My Library. I usually install Poser Format and old content in a Poser-style directory on an external drive.

I couldn't seem to even get the old directory info to show.  It only showed certain things.  It didn't look like what I remember at all.  And I was not in the Smart content tab, I was in the Content tab.  I haven't done much with it in a few years.  Now I seem to be lost.  But this stuff should show up if the DIM installs it.  Otherwise, it should say something like, "This crap is too old, I'm not putting in in the Library!"  cheeky  At least we'd know.

A "fortnight" is a period of two weeks.   from Old English "fourteen nights" https://www.etymonline.com/word/fortnight

Non-complaint:  I had the radio playing this morning while having breakfast and re-encountered one of the most gentle & beautiful pieces of music in the classical realm.  heart  Only 9 minutes long but very soothing and restful.  Music to DAZ by.  I know I've gushed about it previously but it's worth bringing up again. Perfect music to hear before making the mistake of ranting at your boss. enlightened

Well assuming it was a serious question, it's an online videogame.
