All true, but it's fun, and recently I've decided to try and render everything in my runtime (not all at once, of course), which means converting a lot of stuff to Iray, though I still sometimes render in 3Delight. And anything I find that is too problematic I just remove from my runtime.
And Robert Freise is right, as we are all Dazaholics!

Nope; Not from my wislist they haven't. Not a single item in my wishlist is in todays "Wishlist" sale
I think the implication is that they've taken the top wishlist items from everyone and put the most popular on sale.

what? is it possible to stack PC+ membership years?? i sighed at the last recent membership sale thinking "what a pity i already am pc+"...

even if what i allow myself is just a fraction of what other people here can afford due to my tiny budget (and i ate so much cheap cr*p lately cuz said budget got nibbled on by not so immediately useful items...)

Yes. When you are already a member, any membership purchase is added onto the end of your subscription.

Yes. So when there's membership on sale, it's a good idea to buy an extra year, so you have a year's worth of buffer to look for sales in the future. That way you can always buy your subscription at a discounted price because there will surely be a membership sale within a year.
I remember having this conversation with my dad when I was about 16 " but dad, they have all receivers on sale for 40% off, now is the time to buy!" and he said "you're right, 40% is a great deal but I know how you can save 100%, keep using you're old amp" at the time I would have given a kidney for that shiny new receiver and I eventually bought one. As I have gotten older, I recall that conversation when I'm really being tempted by good sales.
The length of some sales here baffles me lol, I had a few items from a vendor in my cart, woke up yesterday and the featured items went down so had to remove the items that weren’t on sale, and then woke up again today and others went off that list and onto wishlist sale today, so again had to remove them. I need to learn not to procrastinate lol

Daz would love for all of us to impulse buy every day. After all, they make their money when we buy products. However, if one's not interested in filing bankruptcy in the future, learning when to buy immediately and when to wait is a good skill to have here.
It is, lol I agree, I go through my spurts sometimes I figure I’ll wait till payday but there’s no knowing how long the sale will lasts lol or if items will be removed from the list
What happened to Moyra? Yes, that Moyra. All her stuff is gone (spot checking here and there), and her name is no longer in the vendor list. That's 500-600 items!

I even had a PC+ DAZ Original in my wishlist... if it's a DAZ Original I didn't even think those would go if a vendor leaves the store? Between that and the history it seems weird...

It's very disappointing to hear the Moyra's store is now gone, makes me wonder who will be next to leave. I hope she turns up at another site with her products from here, there were so many I still need! Makes me wonder what's happening at DAZ ....

Just wanted to say that there’s is no conspiracy or impending doom. Simply put, Moyra decided to move on, and we wish her well :)
Would be usefull if we would get heads up if some PA is leaving and you have last chance of buying her/his items till <insert date>.
Someone of us might consider to buy items from our wishlist and not wait for a big sale of his/her or for a big general sale.

PC+ items usually don't get removed. Moyra is a special case as she was one of the original founding members of the PC, they did the same with Lisa B's items when she left to become a founding member at HW3D.
RE: missing Moyra items. The annoying thing is that a lot, if not most, of those items were in the 50%/70% PC+ sales this last weekend and HAD THERE BEEN A NOTICE BY DAZ OR THE PA, a lot of folks who had those items on their wishlists could have had one last chance to pick up the ones that they'd been waiting for... ESPECIALLY since many of these were PC+ items, which we have been told repeatedly wouldn't be pulled from the store. Instead, between the products abrupt removal and the mess that was the wishlist sale that wasn't, it just kind of ticks everyone off. As it happens, I did pick up about 20 of them in the 50%/70% sales, as I've grown increasingly wary of how many older vendors are disappearing from DAZ lately, but I could have easily ramped that up to a hundred or so rather than saving it for March Madness if there'd been at least some warning...
yeah I thought they were immune too hence emptying my cart after piling it up due to real life needs, I generally pick some up here and there as I wish anyway and probably would have grabbed them not as discounted later, PC+ was never an urgency
