this is a totally self created room out of some cubes with some add ons from my content including some items made by Jack (mattress and white board (with reworked textures)) the room textures are made out of a texture by fm (fm cellar) the iron texture, I do not know already where I got it but it is great and I use it very often. hope you like it :)

Uh-oh, is Dixie in a spot of trouble?

Hope she makes a great escape :)

    Hi Mr Jack Tomalin

I created a animation where as I used your library in the middle of it.
I was not able to use all the props that came with it because of how long it would have taken to render but i think you will like what I did :)

    I hope you enjoy it.

    Title: porpah

I thought I would take my testing further by making a glass cover and stand for the King. porpah is King in the D'ni language, a fictitious one from the Myst universe. I am quite happy with the modelling and surfaces...though not too happy about the lighting. Rendered in Blender/Cycles.

The stand texture were used form one of Jack Tomalin's sets Asian Court 1, the backdrop is an archway from the Guild Hall for which I made a displacement map for the writing.

The rope is a shareCG freebie and the King and chess board from the old DAZ3D freebie Giant Chess set the rest I modelled myself.

I don't have any time left for rendering so this will be my last one for a while.

    Nice work mate :)

    Really cool :)

Never really thought about it, but Aslan works really well as a fighting arena type setting.. :)

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I own them all, including the Uru series. I've had the first Myst since it came in a giant blue box for a tiny jewel case on Windows 98 (I have the 3-disc anniversary remastered set now though). Been at that game more off than on since 1998 and have YET to beat the first one. /sigh

I have no problem getting into worlds from the main area, my problem is solving the worlds to get back out. lol
If there's some sort of order I need to do the worlds in (clues in one to beat another?), I haven't found any clue to that yet.

I refuse to use walkthroughs. >.<</p>

    Danaides ... niiiiice!

Question: is the water in the well included?
The fourth Promo picture is impressing!

I came here for praise on Danaides as well :D
    Love the atmosphere!
What I am curious about are the settings Jack is using for is renders and am hoping for some insight into his rendersecrets ^^

By the way, he is one of the featured artists today!

Question about west park day room: are there plans to bring out a non-fallen look for this one?
The shape and size of west park day room is so versatile!

Gah I replied this and it never appeared lol.

Yes, the water is included.. there's also water which runs around the outside of the walkway too. Both can be hidden too for the best of both worlds. :)

    Thanks.

No real secrets on this one, the light set I used for the promos is also included in the pack.. just rendered out, adjusted some levels in photoshop, added some glow/god rays, and there you have it.

Addons for WP is pretty much an ongoing thing, yea.. so yea, there'll be a clean version at some point in time :)

I just bought Danaides. At the moment I don‘t exactly know what to do with it (and can‘t do anything for the next two days), but the promo pics looked great, and I am sure that Danaides will give me an inspiration soon. And now, finally I have Platea! Jaaahhh!!! :-)

I will sit tight for a bit before touching anything, as it might sort itself out.. but if not will ask the team to look into it and see if anything can be done.

I'm a bit of a pain in that respect, since my stores cross both the PA and PC lines :)

Platea was a pretty sweet set, sadly I got caught up in other stuff to really play with it, but it's there for when I do get the chance :)

All the clues are there trust me, the wife and I worked Myst and Riven out without any help, man that was fun and great memoeries.

Maybe that's the ticket. I tend to over complicate things, and Hubby being a motorcycle tech by trade is trained to start at the basic end first. Maybe I should drag him into it, too. We've done it before with Missing: Since January (game's kind of annoying- it's set in the real world and sends you timed emails and sends you to actual websites).

LOL I don't play any games these days...If I get nostalgic I will whip out Riven and go for a wander, or if I feel really down I will go in to Uru. :) That game sounds awful to my tastes Vask.

Jack another cool looking set there.

Me too. I have already checked down the back of the sofa, turned out jacket pockets, emptied the trusty handbag to see if any coppers are hiding at the bottom. I even searched the known cat's hidey holes for their treasures to see if they had squirreled away any loose coins. Need suggestions as to anywhere else to look to see if I can amalgamate enough readies to buy this.
