    Title: Just An Ordinary Day
My entry to the deviantArt "Insidious 2" contest. I won't win and will likely be disqualified because my image was created in Daz Studio using stock models. An admin at dA said, "In addition, where one draws the line between original work and the use of 3D objects is fuzzy at best."

Taking a photo of a building that someone else designed: Original Artwork. Drawing a stick person on a piece of looseleaf: Original Artwork. My image? Not Original Artwork. I HATE the discriminatory attitudes toward the amazing art we create. How can anyone in their right mind look at my image and tell me it isn't original art? Nobody else could have made it. It came from MY brain, same as any artist.

    Original, full-resolution found here: http://karibous-boutique.deviantart.com/art/Just-An-Ordinary-Day-380782516

Anyway... Can you count the number of Genesises (Genesi?) in this image? :-)

Chilling image...as beautiful as it is disturbing.

A few of my custom characters: a Genesis toddler, an Australopithecus, and Edgar Allan Poe.

These were created to promote my Genesis Custom-Dialed Character Contest, which has since closed (if you are interested, please cast a vote for your favorite among the eight finalists).

    ...nice work on Poe.

Lady Meggan Grande from the story I am working on. The hair is Koz's Long Hair Evolution which works very well with Genesis.

V5 with some V4 morphs via GenX and Fabiana's Druscilla Goth base skin map.

Genesis with mostly Aiko 5 shape, Anastasiya for A5 skin, Reinoa Hair, Amethyst fantasy top, Dragon Queen accessories.
And the very cool Menok which is an older product I had somehow never before noticed in the store until the Dragon category sale the other day, when I instantly snapped it up. Just love these guys.

This was created with a collection of several items I've gotten recently. I don't have Poser myself, but I'm more than happy to imagine what went in to making this new importer happen.

    The Dirty Work
Rendered in DS with Lantios Core Lighting 1. Some credits: Riley for S5 is the one in the mask, while Genesis on the table is wearing a "fitted" Cyborg Model 4 figure and the V4 muscle maps. Other things include Stalker Girl Pants, Mavka Hair, War Dog, Surgical Gowns, Kenzi outfit, Opus Magnum, Dental tools, Smartphone & Tablet, and of course the wonderful Loading Dock, where it all goes down. Some postwork in Pixelmator.

That's awesome! Looks like someone got their hands on the anatomy bundle!

Since I'm here, might as well post something. Some kitbashing plus custom morphs with some of the stuff being more obvious than others.

Scott somehow I missed recognizing that the first time I saw it, that's kind of hilarious. Yes, I'm curious too how you did that.

Also, nice render ZamuelNow. I like their expressions and the use of the modular ruins (yes? under their feet?) in combination with the sand.

Yep. Modular Ruins + Sandworld + Ancient Cultures (though the latter two are from Rendo).

Sorry ZamuelNow and Storypilot...missed this request until just now. :red:

I loaded Dawn and Genesis side by side--actually alternated between viewing them side by side, and loading them into the same space--and morphed Genesis to match Dawn's appearance. Focused on getting the face right, and the body close.

    Here's the formula:

    FBMs:
Addison 0.50 (her morph affects the V4 and V5 head and body sliders)
    Victoria 3 50%
    Victoria 4 0.50
    Victoria 5 0.50
    Victoria 5 Supermodel 0.50

    Head Morphs:
    Victoria 4 Head 0.25
    Victoria 5 Head -0.50
    Basic Male Head 0.87*
    Head Propagating Scale 3.5%

    Facial morphs:
    Eyebrows inner up -0.071
    Face long 0.13
    WideFeyEye -0.19
    Boy Chin 1 0.39
    Jaw Size -0.14
    Chin Crease 0.29
    Chin Depth 0.11
    Chin Width -0.50
    Face Heart 0.45
    Face Round -0.25
    Face Young -0.17
    Eyes Width -0.21
    Eyes Almond Inner -0.26
    Eyes Almond Outer -0.35
    Eyes Angle 0.26
    Nose Round 0.40
    Nose Size 0.60
    Nose Tip Depth 0.40
    Nose Tip Height -0.17
    Lips Thin 0.081

    Specific body morphs:
Not worth mentioning...since for the purposes of this image I didn't bother trying to get too close.

Skin texture: Addison (similar skin tone and similar makeup options--and same PA I think?)
Brow: Addison's eyebrows are rather different than Dawn's though. So I used this method to get Gabriel's eyebrows onto Genesis, and changed the diffuse color of the brows to more closely match Addison's skin (if you look closely, you'll see that it's still not an exact match). With the eyebrow transplant, she looks significantly more like Dawn, I think. I added Dawn's default hair, and dialed up a pose and expression that's evocative of some of Dawn's promo images.

*The high value of the Basic Male Head morph I used would appear to lend support to those who complain that Dawn's face is too manly, but this is a somewhat deceptive: remove the morph entirely, and the rest of the morphs I used yield a very feminine, delicate chin and jaw. So the Basic Male Head morph helps to balance that out somewhat.

ZamuelNow, I like that kitbashed ruins render a lot! :)

Here's another new piece I just finished.

    Girls' Night Out
Ashley: "Boys? Your Diva has arrived! You may worship at your leisure."
    Tommie: "Ashley!!!"
Ashley: "So many men, so little time."
    Maria: *snicker*

Tommie Jean Davis, Ashley Chrome, and Maria Mirandez-Helrich having a girls' night out at one of Ashley's favorite clubs.
