A little more refined on my version of Logan now, and feeling a bit more comfortable setting up lighting and such in Studio now (after many years of mainly using Poser).

    That's really nice crikett!

  • The first image is from Studio right out of the box. The geometry is good. If Sixus1 provided the original textures as a freebie this would be a great product. The second image is my first attempt at new textures in Carrara. I was going for more of the comic book look. The skin color isn't right yet.

How did you manage to remove one of the gauntlets but keep his hand showing up?  When I try to hid the gauntlet the hand remains invisible and I can't see a way to unhide it.

    Red Sonja

I love this filter to make it look like an oil painting (fotosketcher)

Great job, that's one of the best oil painting effects I've ever seen. Nice!

I was pleasantly surprised by the filter.....makes me wish I made my renders larger and could actually hang them as art in my house LOL

Well, the effect is nothing without the original image -- which, as always, is awesome. This one, though, screams, "Frazetta!" and is worth re-rendering large. Out of curiosity, since the filter is removing detail anyway, how would it look if you smooth-scaled it in PhotoShop before appying the picture? I suspect that it will look just as good, without the need to re-render...

it might look ok......but if I am going to take the time to print it out, I may as well do it right (if i do that)

That's really wonderful Rawn.  I was never a fan of Frank Thorne's work but I really loved the character!

    Nightcrawler

The only postwork besides the credits is that I darken the image a bit from the original render.

  • So I tried to make Black Panther can't find claws or a necklace

Would for you to give feedback

Nicely done. Colors and composition gives it a classic look to it.

The character which was used for the promo pictures of "Stylish Hair and Beard for Genesis 3 and 8 Male(s)" remids me a little to Cress Williams who plays Black Lightning at Netflix ...

can you make the beard shorter? then it would be perfect.

Some fan art of Odin's children in the MCU: Hela, Thor and Loki of course!
Wanted to try a Mucha-like style, took days to render, but I like the overall layout ^_^

No post work except for the watermark.

Thanks!  It took forever to render, and I missed a mistake the first time and had to do it again, so it was rather time-consuming.  Worked out about how I had it in my head though, so all's well that ends well!

And that, to me, is the best definition of an artist: the abilty to show others what you envision; good job!
