The cat? Probably. I always like to point to the cartoons of the movie "Allegro non-Troppo" They shouldn't be forgotten.
It sounds unpleasant :)
:)
Bit of a minor complaint, but I was looking into the X-Particles plugin for Cinema 4D and found that not only is it incompatible with Vray, but version 4 (the only one they're still offering for sale now) requires Cinema 4D R14 or higher; and I'm still using R13. Shame since it's got all sorts of really cool stuff in there, like fluid dynamics and even cloth.
There's also TurbulenceFD which is a little less expensive, but it focuses pretty much entirely on smoke and fire effects.
I say 'minor' complaint since while they're both very very cool, I'm mostly just looking - since it's a bit pricey (700'ish for X-Particles) for something I'd probably end up using casually anyway, and I do have a terrible habit of getting distracted and wandering off from these things. Not losing interest, just getting distracted. Funnily enough drawing I can come back to very easily, but lately I've been having almost no motivation to do so - instead, I've had a load of motivation for fiddling with 3D again xD
why do people complain about freebies? "this thing that I did not pay for is of poor quality."
you literally got it for free. you get what you pay for. for #*&% sake.
Bolero , = '10'?
+1
but, if the freeb is part of a subscription, then it isn't exactly a freebie
anything thats "free with ... purchase" is technically not free.
my 2 ¢ , .002£
i still dream of Vray. Biguanna wants his vray pizza!!
i hope the FAA is aware of this -
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/222815932_Forecasting_the_Impact_of_an_1859-Calibre_Superstorm_on_Satellite_Resources
but it's not part of a subscription in this instance. it's just free. so if you don't like it, don't dl it. or better yet, go make it your own damn self. (not you, you. a general you.)
people are exhausting.
why o why didn't i install my legacy DS content into a separate mylibrary dohhhh

I love the biguana. I don't know why, but he's just so attractive and cute~
he needs wings! been meaning to try and make him a set. mebbe this weekend.
sigh no one is talking about how the faa mandate is going to effect our jobs. (affect?)
when management is mumm, is cause to worry?
i guess they worrying about their jobs too.
Rendering out a scene with him right now. It's one I purchased from a C4D site, so it's mostly just a plug-and-render sort of thing for funsies, but he's looking nice in it~ Maybe shouldn't have rendered it out at 3,600px though haha
I know how to model'y some things and make adjustments to a mesh (For morphs) but getting to save the latter out and just the morphs (like say Garee's "PLUS!" packages) I just can't wrap my head around, and making accessories that conform to and pose with a figure? Yeah, goes right over my head. ;v;
I'd been thinking about painting some new textures for some critters (Wyvern 2.0, Biguana, etc?) but I'm not sure how to go about that. Preferably I'd like to practice it in zBrush but my post about the Sea Dragon demonstrates how well that went. I wanted to use the original texture as a guideline, but it wasn't uh... It came in wrong. I'm now worried that maybe the UV's would get messed up or something and all my time painting would be for nothing. Not sure who to ask about such things, maybe on the zbrush forums but I'm kind of nervous asking in places like that since I feel so.... Small and worthless I guess? x)
Complaint: I just checked on the hotel rates for the Athenaeum Hotel on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. Yikes! About $250/night for a basic room. If one were to stay there for the entire 8 week summer season it would be about $11,000
even at the reduced "long term" rate of $200/night.
A single night in a deluxe room is about $350 and a suite is about $450. I think I'll just continue to drive up there for a quick concert and drive home. I'll use the money I save by not staying in the hotel for ambulance fees necessitated by me walking down and up the hill to the parking lot.
...ah yes, didn't you link to that one recently?
...every time he's on sale I don't have the money, when I do, he isn't. c'est la vie.
....not to frighten you but that was sort of the case before I was laid off after the company was bought out and lost the client who's work account I managed.
...pretty place though. Any other less expensive hotels in the area so you don't have to make the perilous drive each concert?
...'plaint:
Just got an email form the transit system that mentioned they are revising its ticket phone app June 1st which will require Android 6.0. Just updated my phone and what I got is ver 5.1.1 (was previously 5.1.0) with no new updates in the pipeline. I cannot afford a new phone if his one does not support 6.0. Don't like that smart fare card as it is confusing, I won't get any of the savings it promises as I don't ride every day, on my Sunday "game day" I'll have to pay three fares as it won't give me a day ticket, and I have to go find store that is a Tri-Met outlet to "load" it rather than do so online. Looks like I'll probably have to start carrying a wad of change around again to pay with cash (thinking of paying my fare in nickles and dimes just to spite them).

Did you see the date on that article? 2006. I bet they are not only well aware, but already in the midst of plans to deal with it. Or, maybe they're just trying to wish it away. What do I know?
Dana
Yes, they can be.

...The But What Does It Mean, "Exact Change" Complaint Thread?
Got some platies but forgot to ask for the return policy is. I think it is a week or so. The receipt says that I have sixty days to return them but “Items must be re-sellable and returned in original packaging with all parts included.” Slight issue is that the only time I can think of returning a platy is when the platy is dead within a week of purchase. I do not want a dead platy but I do not know of any reason to return a healthy platy to the pet store.
Oops they only charged me for three platies when I got four. I owe them $1.24 plus tax. Or I could figure out which platy I was not charged for and return her. Or what am I supposed to do?
Just got a phone call putting me on hold as soon as I answer it. Not sure who it is I hang up until they call when they are available.
Chautauqua Institution is it's own place. A small Victorian era town on the west shore of Chautauqua Lake with very little commercial operations outside of the town walls (yes, walls). That side of the lake (well, both sides actually) are essentially rural areas with many big farms and a couple of new housing developments on the slopes of the lake. There are a couple of motels a few miles away but transport outside of the actual Chautauqua walls drops you off at the main gate and you still have to walk down the hill to the Amphitheater (although there is an internal mini-bus service for those really weary nights and you're willing to wait for it).
On the grounds of Chautauqua are a lot of old Victorian homes outfitted as B&B and mostly geared toward weekly rental because many people who come to Chautauqua generally stay for a lot more than just one show. There are lectures and religious services for several faiths each morning, and in the afternoon there are art classes, music classes, water sports, art museums, political speakers, news journalist speakers, and in the evening there are cocktail parties, plays, and operas. There are several fine restaurants too. I just thought that I might try just one or two nights to try to sample some of that life. But at those prices I'll just continue to drive there instead of stay.
Admittance into the walls of the Institute is by gate pass or by event ticket. Gate passes are separated by morning/afternoon/evening each about $30 or $40. But an all day gate pass is $85. Whereas a typical evening event ticket (symphony, opera, play) is only $45 which is what I usually do. In the past there have been 1 or 2 symphony performances during the season that were only $20.
What's really nice about the symphony performances in the Amphitheater, is that you don't have to sit in the bowl. Even just wandering around the street outside the open-air amphitheater you can see and hear the performance pretty well. No cars on the street, just people, bicycles, baby strollers, all milling about. The seating bowl is sunk into the ground so the top of the seating area is at street level. The whole thing's covered but has no walls, so when outside you can see down to the stage. It's actually quite a nice experience even just for an evening's performance... If you can tolerate stray noise from excited dogs, kids, rain, and a possible distant fire siren.
You should swap out the usable parts from the dead platy with any parts that have wear and tear on the live platys... I hope you saved the water, because I believe that is part of the original packaging.
Mmmmm... Platy water...
I had a scare today. I dropped my iPad onto a tile floor today. I was scared something happened to it, but the iPad did not get any damage that I could tell.
um, I did not discard of the water but it is in the tank with the rest of the water. I am not sure about the swapping parts. Hopefully I will not have to return any dead fish.
