Complaint:  Meh... iTunes & Paypal frown  I haven't used my iTunes account in well over a year but today I found something there for $4 that I can't get elsewhere for less than $28 but my credit card details expired at iTunes so I decided to switch to PayPal but now when trying to login to PayPal via iTunes it wants to run some sort of plugin but fails each time.sad  Mumble, grumble.  angry I'm trying to switch most of my on-line purchases to PayPal where possible.  It usually works, but iTunes tends to frustrate me everytime I use it (which is why I haven't used it in well over a year).  Bah, humbug!   Is it punishment for not using a Macintosh computer?

Could be.  I get extremely frustrated with iTunes on the laptop.  Diane uses it for her iPod.  I even gave the eviction notice to Quicktime player!  I can't stand the way they do software.  They purposely rebel against standards on Windows machines.  And really, a little app like Quicktime updates, and I need to reboot my computer?    angry  I don't even need to reboot for updates to things like MS Office!  Windows itself, yes, but not other applications.  And I can't help with her iPhone much, either.  They just don't make things that intuitive.  I thought that was their big selling point?

A Russian word for kitten is (Котнек) probably pronounced close to "kot-nyek"  Whereas the city Kitezh (Китеже) is probably pronounced close to "Kee-tyezh"     (just being pedantic devil)

Interestingly enough, a Russian word for cat is (Кот). surprise

Curious:  Are y'all seeing the Russian alphabet letters that I typed in parenthesis?  I don't know if standard Windows renders them without installing special fonts.  In the name of the city there should be a backward "N" (и)  that makes the long "e" sound like in "keep", and a  letter that looks like a squashed bug (ж) that makes a "zsh" sound like the "s" in leisure.

...looking like summer around here already with pretty much all the trees in full leaf.  a very delightfullly comfortable 75° today Planned to do some grocery shopping but felt so good just to sit in the sun sipping good coffee and afterwards a couple pints of a nice "sessionable" (not very strong) malty ale.  Going to be like this pretty much for the rest of the week through the weekend.

Nice to be able to open the windows and air the place out.

Yeah still a few aches & pains here but the nice weather seems to make it a little more bearable.

Cool beans! smiley HOWEVER,  I've noticed that when I view your reply that quotes my post in italics, the backward N now looks like an English lowercase "u" everywhere it appears.  frown  Perhaps that's what it's supposed to look like in Russian italics?  (*sigh*)

Arghhh..., now I just noticed that the Russian "T" (same as the English "T") is transliterated to an English lowercase "m" when expressed in italics.  Arghhh...  I cannot imagine that that is an italicized "T".  This must be a font issue when dealing with italics. frown  If you see the same thing then it's probably a generic problem. Complaint:  I needed the air-conditioner again last night and especially this morning.  Already at 8:00 AM it's 70F outside in the shade, my bedroom is upstairs, in the sun, and much warmer.  I guess I need to get my a** in gear and unpile all those boxes off the top of my air-conditioner, eat my Wheaties, put on my knee guards and back brace and then muscle that machine up 6 inches and back 2 feet into the window.  This used to be a lot easier 20 years ago. frown

could 7 planets share the same orbit around a sun?

like, if there were 6 more Earths

is there enough space in our orbit they could get along and have the same pleasant atmosphere and gravity?

prolly tides would be different, or, without a moon wouldn't be a high tide or low tide.

can't think of how else random planets would have the same atmosphere, climate, gravity
or go with 1 planet and 6 space stations?

Probably not.  To share the same orbit only three would work.  A primary planet and one on either side of it in what are called the Lagrangian points where the gravity of the primary planet and the star are in equal balance and objects placed there just "hang out" ahead of and behind the primary planet in its orbit around the sun.  If you try to put more planets in the same orbit around the sun the whole arrangement would probably be unstable.  Although rings of dust might possibly work, but not big planets.  But even rings of dust are unstable and like the rings of Saturn would decay over long periods of time.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagrangian_point

However more planets in other orbits is possible.  The "Goldilock's Zone" where it's not too hot, and not too cold around a star is limited.  There is a star (I think named Trappist-1) with 7 Earth sized planets but only 3 are in the Goldilock's Zone but perhaps as many as 6 could be habitable for extremeophile types of life.  See artists rendering of possible view from one of the three in "the zone".  All so close to each other and to the star that they are easily visible in the sky as disks or cresents.  And even three Earth sized planets taking advantage of the Lagrangian points might not be stable in the long run.  It works for putting satellites in the Lagrangian points (The James Webb Space Telescope will be in one) but bigger objects might be too sensitive to gravitational purtibations from the other planets in our solar system.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRAPPIST-1

    Edited to add:

I forgot that there are actually four Lagrangian points around an orbiting object, there is one somewhat closer to the sun and one farther away from the sun too.  But again, the actual size of the points in space where gravity is in balance is relatively small, and placing an object the size of another planet at any of those points would be like trying to balance a tower of dominoes.  Any slight misalignment would topple the whole arrangement.  Putting small satellites in the Lagrangian points is quite doable and any wandering out of the points could be managed by tiny thruster adjustments by computers.  Keeping a whole planet in balance at the point is a rather big job.

But in the realm of ideal fantasy, if you had perfect planets, a perfect sun, no other planets, asteroids, comets or nearby stars in your solar system one could, in theory, have a 5 planet cluster orbiting your perfect star, all easily reachable by simple rocket technology.  But hey, if we accept purple dragons, hollow Earths, fairys and goblins, why not a cluster of 5 planets?  But once one has reached that level of fantasy, one could change the laws of gravity, and mechanics to permit anything.  I'm sure "Q" would find no trouble setting you up. enlightened

    More editing to add:

If you wanted to substitute space stations for planets, then the whole scheme would be a lot easier.  You could have 4 good sized space stations at the four Lagrangian points and keep them stable with mimimum difficulty. yes

Non-complaint:  I'm cool!  After much huffing and puffing, and wiggling, and jiggling, and wrangling and shoving, I've gotten my air-conditioner back into its place in the bedroom window.  Yea! smiley  And just in time too, rain started just as I was closing the window onto the top of the unit. yes Phew... that's a lot of work for a person of the ancient persuasion.  And best of all, I didn't lose my grip on the unit and have it slip out of the window and slide down the porch roof to smash on the ground. surprise  I envision that every year but it hasn't happened yet. indecision

So glad we have central AC/heating!  Trying not to turn mine on yet, though.  But, it's 90f out there right now!!!   surprise   Fortunately, I'm not out there.  But the thermostat says it's 80 in here.  If I left my computer running all day, like I used to, I'd have no choice but to start up the AC.  But I like the "Sleep" feature in Windows.  Starts right back up where you left off, in a couple seconds.  I guess I can't wait too much longer to turn it on, though.  Temperatures will drop after Friday, a cold front coming through with rain.  At least a 10 degree drop is expected.  That will help delay the inevitable.
