    Yeah. I dropped a couple of big purchases... the Stonemason sale, I stocked up... But I think I'm way off my traditional spend on a March Madness sale - and according to the forum, a lot of the big purchasers felt the same way as I did... and I've got a feeling my big March Madness spends... $20 a day almost every day or two throughout the month... are small potatoes compared to what some of the heavy buyers spend when the sale is really crazy. 

    There were a couple of high points... and maybe the problem with freebies is that I've just got almost everything that DAZ is willing to give away, at this point. I still haven't added those dog-tags to my collection, though. Now it is a challenge.

    Nice bundle by Raiya and outoftouch. But I really dislike those incentives which only cater for new buyers. 30% extra discount off the older bundles is not that cool if one has purchased already most of them.

    Yup. I have them all except a dress that is part of a bundle.

    It seems that happens with every sale, where folks who have a lot of content don't get motivated with the offers as we have the content already. Can't really blame Daz, I mean, how could Daz possibly tailor a sale for those with a lot of content? Everyone's different. 

    From chatting with several PAs, sales are doing just fine during MM. I know I've done my share of supporting them, I've picked up many things at 55% off. I think that's very reasonable, given the work that goes into a product like a set with many props. I can use those elsewhere and kitbash.

    Reporting. Only happens on the suit, though, the other two items are more heavily discounted.

    Note that the monthly freebie, Reading Corner, is not DIM installable for some reason; it is strange because what appear to be DIM compatible zips are available for download in my Product Library ...

    Wow, looking at my totals for every March, I spent so much less this year than ever before.  I'm at 21% of what I spent in 2017, and only 6% of what I spent in 2016.  78% of what I'd spent in 2015, but I'd only been in for 2 months at that point and was pretty conservative with it.  There's also an issue of volume.  In 2016 & 2017, I bought something almost every day.  This year there were only 3 orders I actually spent money on.

    I even clicked on the green button on the Product Library page to "Download and Install" but it didn't work.

    Does Daz even know about this issue? Usually a mod comes in and tells us it's been reported, but I'm not seeing that yet…

    ETA: I downloaded the file into my DIM Downloads folder. It showed up under Ready to Install, and installed just fine when I clicked on the Install button. An FYI for anyone who doesn't want to wait on the fix.

    It's very odd indeed, as it is listed as DazConnect and Manual Install on the product page, but there is no obvious reason why it couldn't be installed via DIM, as you note...

    Wild Borders is staying at 40% off rather than 50%.  I have newly mad items in my cart.

    That's my niggle.  I'm sure they are good products if you just really want all your Gen 7 base characters to exist in G8 format without the hassle of doing the conversions on your own. 

    As to the rest of the promo, it looks like we're still being limited to a small selection of new items in order to get the mad deal.  I'm really curious as to if this strategy has worked out for this March.  I mean, if I'm any sort of indicator, my own spending is way down.  There have been some good deals.  It's just not worth it to me to get the good deal if I have to push my cart up to double or triple to make the discount trigger.  If the trigger items were things that I wanted anyway, I probably would have spent at least twice as much as I have so far this MM.

     

     

    Well, that does make some sense.  I already own both TJ pro packs.  So, I don't really need a product that converts one to the other...easier to just use TJ7.  The truth is that I rarely use an unmodified character for a render.  Most often, I use my own morphs based off the G8F or G3F base.  This is somewhat amusing to me...because I do buy a lot of characters by PAs and DO.  I get all excited about collecting characters, but then I end up rendering with my own morphs anyway...LOL

    You've hit that dreaded "switch over" time again. The weird 30 min before to 30 min after the new sales day when the sales prices aren't working right. :( Sounds like you might have missed it.

    you are right @Divamakeup go caught in the switch over.  It doesn't seem the elephant is free anymore, i guess I did miss it

    I didn't realize that you actually get the Gen 7 textures with the morphs.  I thought you had to own both generations to make it work.  So yeah, these packs are a good deal for folks that don't already own the Gen7 characters.
