...spot on.
...you never know what may happen with the tech curve these days. Wouldn't doubt that DARPA is already working on such an idea.
oops I made Pweek's fur too bright. What is Pweek? It is a fluffy creature I am rendering with emissive shaders for its fur. LOL! I think Pweek was free for a while or something as I cannot no longer find Pweek.
Agreed! However, I'm too old to "Die young, and leave a beautiful body". But I'm still in the phase where "Life is like a rollercoaster ride... If you're not screaming and laughing on the way down, you've wasted your ticket". But during the ride I've been high enough to see that "The Universe is but the shadow of the body of Consciousness, Wisdom is but the shadow of the mind of Consciousness, and Life, all Life everywhere is the process of Consciousness discovering it's shadow."
Amen, brother. Couldn't have said it better myself. Each of us is a wave on the Ocean of All Possibility, rising for a moment, falling, changing but never lost, always eternal.
Another lovely day! 68f outside and slightly overcast, heading towards 85f but just 74f right now. Slight breeze, no birds though - probably down near the creek chasing bugs and/or minnows.
The local creek has minnows every Spring through Fall, the largest I've seen was about 3 inches, a serious mama fish. Typically 2-3 schools of 25+ fish, so it must be a decent environment for fish. :-)
Continuing clean-up, putting up the last of my saleable stuff on Craigslist. The room is emptying out, which is nice. I need to relocate the room fan, though - it keeps falling out of the cheap wall socket. :-/
BBQ hot dogs for lunch, I think!! :-)
...had a BBQ burger for dinner last night but instead of fries and the oily mess to deal with, decided on O'Brien potatoes. Excellent choice as it complemented the burger well and clean up was a breeze. Living in an apartment block instead of a home, recycling of used cooking oil is an issue as you just can't leave it by the curb with the rest of the recyclables since we only have large community bins.
The froggies in the pond across the street have come alive! Noisy the first few weeks they wake up. Then they calm down a bit. I love hearing that sound, though. It got to 63f yesterday.

Complaint: two power cuts so far this afternoon. Don't know if I dare start working again . . .
Very nice! :-)
Lovely - NOT. :-|
You need to get an EBPGS (Emergency Bicycle Power Generator System) and peddle like hell during the outages.
Either that or a big UPS.
Or buy an old milk tanker (or 6) and turn 'em into a giant capacitor bank.
I'd be deathly afraid of an accidental discharge from those capacitors!!! :-O
Makes a great burgler alarm though. A few fried fellons hanging on the fence might send a message.
and they can't sue you when they are well fried ....which is a good thing too !!
Complaint: I tried to go to the movie yesterday but our local theater screwed up again and the movie didn't start until 25 minutes later than scheduled which upset the rest of my day's schedule so I walked out and got my money back. Theaters don't have to do a lot to make me happy, just sell me a ticket, and start the #$$%&* movie when you say you will.
I'll even buy some of your outrageously priced popcorn and drinks but at least walk around to the theaters when they're scheduled to start and make sure the automatic mechanism started like it was supposed to. Don't wait for the audience to lose it's patience and have to go hunt you down and kick you to get the movie started. Is it any wonder people are not going to theaters in droves anymore when they can stay home and watch on 50 or 60 or 70 inch TVs at home and from movie sources with no commercials, plenty of cheap popcorn, and a pause button for when nature calls.
Movies could be reasonably priced if they stopped using overrated 10 million dollar actors.
Non-complaint: My favorite fried chicken franchise is "Popeye's"
But since I left Florida there hasn't been one within less than a 2-hour drive (Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Buffalo)
But yesterday I read that one is opening in Erie, PA, only 1-hour away! Yea! Another excuse for a mini-adventure to Erie.

I read that as burger alarm! Ho hum!
You'd end up with a fried Hamburgler. McDonalds would probably sue.
EXCELLENT idea!!! Hee hee hee!
A very good point!
Popeyes is the BEST fried chicken! There's one not far from me, omg, now I want a 3 piece spicy meal... waaahhhhhhhhh
"Incoming burgers! Everyone down!"
Robble robble ZZZAAPPP sizzle... :-O
More chicken bbq'ing.. so good.. really need beer, though. :-(
I came home from work to my roommate screaming prayers. or maybe it was yelling? not sure which one it was but it was loud. Very annoying.
Miss Bad Wolf, one word for your roommate GEODON (recommend 80mg twice per day)
watching the caine mutiny
is one ugly ship.
never thought about making an ugly ship on purpose.
i liked the 1st caine capt. not used to Boghie as the antagonist
he's holding the marbles clack clack
There's a Popeye's in my home city, Fall River, MA. It's about 3 minutes away from my mom's apartment. I like the spicy chicken and the cajun fries, too.

...ah best cajun styled chicken. Was a fave when I lived in New Orleans.
