    That was disappointing, I had the Edward bundle in my cart and planned to buy it today. I was sure it would last a few more days as it usally does.

    Yep. It seems really odd that the Edward sale is gone already while the Alexandro sale sale that started weeks earlier is still up.

    MM day 1 does not seem significantly different than any other normal new release day.  Some new releases, a few PA sales and a top out at 50% off.  Where's the madness?

    I have a new release in my cart at the moment, at 68% off. That's pretty darn good for a new release. And while I have to buy two items to get that, the other item is something on my wishlist getting the same 68% discount. Folks who purchased a new release in the previous three days got a bonus offer, too.  (I missed it by one day. I guess I should have waited to get Edward...)

    If this is like past MM sales, there will be a couple of weekends where everything in the store is 50% off. While that doesn't sound like a great deal, there are artists whose back catalogs never go on sale, because they no longer create products. If you need one of Draagonstorms products, for example, March Madness and the PA Festival in September may be the only time you can get it at any discount.

    First of all, it's not listed as being a "Newly mad" item, although it is a new release today, and it sort of acts like one.

    A few hours ago it had a bigger discount than it has now. This time the early birds could have saved a few bucks there.

    The rest of today's DO items are 58% off by default. This one is only 51% off. Why the difference?

    My first MM sale, Daz had a banner the last three days of February enticing us to buy a new release and get a discount coupon good during the sale. At the time, I didn't know Daz frequently offers different values to customers based on how much money they spent. My coupon was good for 30%, one time.

    I'm actually more concerned that they pulled Edward's promo. Why not wait and release him in April instead? It's quite unfair to the folks who were waiting for payday to take advantage of the offers. So even though I'm a bit bummed I missed out on the bonus offer, I'm glad I didn't procrastinate.

    What's new? I keep trying to hold off buying on the first day, but... :-( They want us to buy on the first day and then punish us for buying ion the first day.

    You know, some of us plan to buy base characters within the typical two week window they're on sale. Kind of annoying to find the Edward 8 sale completely gone on the first day of March Madness.

    I’m really sorry about that, I couldn’t buy it quickly cos I wasn’t expecting him so early after the previous character.....crying not fair!

    The Maintenance Room is the first Buyer Bonus or whatever they’re calling it this year. 

    Has anybody tested to see if the Edward deal is still there but unannounced? I’m wondering if he’ll replace Alexandra on the banner tonight.

    I couldn't get it to work. The deal that would have cost me $65 a day ago would now cost me $280. But of course I'm not going to buy it now. .

    I purchased Alexandra a few days after she came out and have the Edward items in my cart. Saw today they jumped in price 37%. That's a cart that will be dumped - loss of $71 for Daz. Yet I can still buy Alexandra on sale if I didn't have her - this is why Daz males sales are atrocious - they release them right after a big sale ends or cut their intro sales off early.

    I just realize that I bought a giftcard (along with a cheap PC+ item). Maybe that triggered it? And you can STILL buy a new item to qualify for that promo?

    It's now listed on the promo page for me, and I don't believe it was there before buying the giftcard. (And indeed I did not buy anything before that in the last 3 days.)

    Yes, that's how it worked last year, too: an invisible bonus item you only got to see AFTER buying ANYTHING else. It's why I suggested starting with a small purchase in my MM thread!

    The giftcard was accompanied by the smallest possible purchase of an item that I actually needed... :)

    I have to say, though, that this would make a lot more sense if people actually knew about it... :)

    Ah okay, I see now lol how bizarre. Well, it is March Madness I suppose.
