Snow still falling but lightly.  Although, the wind whips up now and then and blows it all around.  Drifts are starting to form.

I'm beginning to wonder about my mid-winter symphony adventure on February 11.   Still plenty of seats available.  I may not be the only one waiting to see what the weather's going to be on that Sunday afternoon in Buffalo.  It may turn out to be a frantic ticket grab on Friday night after the weatherman makes his prediction for the weekend.  Or it may be a total bust.  Or worse yet, I get my ticket, and almost get to Buffalo but get trapped in a freak blizzard before I get there. frown  Must remember to take blankets, pillow, thermos of cocoa or coffee, ,water, snacks, extra gasoline, shovel, cell phone charger, and blizzard wear. enlightened Oh, and MUST get my exhaust problem fixed!!!!!

Please do not call me a *itch.   Please call me Bad Wolf but do not call me that other word.   I am being called that word by my housemates. I am tired of it.   I am tired of it.   I cannot tell them anything or talk to them as then that will encourage this bad behaviour.

Now she is probably complaining that I am listening to some stupid music CD instead of her.  I have it loud so I cannot be bothered by her tv so I can focus on cleaning the area near my tank.

  • Before Christmas, I spluged a little on a fitbit for me and Hubby.  I've lost 7 pounds since I got it and that encouraged one of the office ladies to go find her fitbit.  So now the four of us office woman have a challenge going on to find out who got the most steps of the day.  I've gone grocery shopping, cooked and cleaned up some.  I have to go get gas for the car now that Corpus isn't sub-arctic and still have to work in 30 minutes of cardio.

I know my poor feet will be screaming at me tomorrow but I'm determined to not be in last place.

Supposed to get down to 18 tonight before cold stuff moves north.
    You guys can have it.
Replaced the last LED bulb with a hoarded incandescent today. Winter is officially here.

Ah, winter.  Interesting to note that when LED traffic lights first came out they discovered that in the north they don't generate enough heat to melt the snow from them. surprise They had to be replaced with models that had electric heaters built-in.  I'm curious about how well electric cars stay warm in the winter without a hot engine to tap the heat from.  And what it does to your battery mileage. indecision  Perhaps they could install little gas heaters in the cabins! devil (Oh, the irony.)

I had a '63 Beetle with a gasoline furnace/heater from a VW Thing. Every time I turned it on, I would get a cloud of smoke from under the hood.
Had it wired to a house magnetic thermostat on the dash. Alternator from a '69 Plymouth to provide power.
    Sure kept the car warm!

Well, my city got 16.9 inches!  Plus drifting!  I went through just about an entire gallon of gas with the snow blower, and wasn't nearly done.  I have to get more gas in the morning and finish it off.   angry
