    Lol... Doesn't help if you simply do not like the way the character looks in the promotional images, no matter how good the deal may be.

    Yes and no.  I've bought lots of Pro Packs for the content over the character.  They were just a good enough deal on everything else, that it didn't hurt to go ahead and have the character thrown in the mix.  Definitely, being about to choose additional pro packs that might be lurking in your wishlist could sweeten the deal and be a persuader. :)

    Well, Daz did it again, got me to spend way more money than I wanted on products I didn't really need but it was so hard to turn down this beautiful new character and I had purposely held off buying the Ophelia bundle waiting for a moment like this, so I'm happy with this purchase and I love the new Charlotte character. I think Charlotte should have been the new Stephanie. In my opinion, Stephanie 8 and V8, actually detract from the gene pool, so this is definitely a welcomed addition to the G8 line!

    It all depends on how soon you need it. Of course, nobody can say what the future holds, but in the past, pro bundles could sometimes be bought for less than $20. I think my cheapest pro bundle was around $8. But you have to be really patient for these sales, they don't happen often.

    I'm just saying, if you're in no hurry, the sales do come around and the bargains show up.  Whenever, I am shopping for a Daz Character, I always check all 3 prices for character, starter, and pro bundle.  Sometimes there is such a slight difference that it's hardly worth it to pass up the Pro Bundle.  But sometimes, if I really don't need any of the other stuff, I'll get the best bargain by waiting until the character goes on sale by itself.

    Charlotte is one of the first DO Character bundles where I am more interested in the included characters than the accessories.  I give Daz a thumbs up on this one.  

    GeoffreyHawkins, since you aren't really interested in Charlotte at all, I can't say that the Kimo bundle seems like that great of a deal.  It is certainly, if you want or can use both characters.  But, I think I'd wait for a sale on the Kimo 7 Pro Bundle.  It will probably drop below $30 at some point, if you aren't in a hurry.

    Thanks for the advice.  I am going to sit tight for the time being based on your observations.

    Well they obviously decided that Lucas was the new version of the "young male" in their gene pool.

    Charlotte doesn't really fit in any of the "categories" previously released IMO.

    I thought Eva 7 might also be another "match". She is not stylized like Sunny, nor is she beefed up like Gia/Karen, just another slim white girl that generation 7 produced a number of.

    Good point.  I thought of Eva as being a little older than Charlotte...but, that could still fit.  It does seem like the DO Base Characters added a lot of new members in the last generation.  If they keep expanding the lineup, I'm not sure "base character" is really going to mean anything.  I mean beforehand, you had your iconic shapes and races.  But, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

    I was only guessing, @dreamfarmer. It doesn't affect me, but I'm sure a lot of people would like to know for sure. So, "Does she, or doesn't she?" (I wonder how many people hanging out here are old enough to remember the commercial that quote is from!)

    Well. Olympia 7 Pro only goes to $10 if I also stick Josie 8 Pro in my cart, so it doesn't work there. But without anything else except the previous Charlotte purchase, the add-ons at the bottom of the page went from 30% (loyalty discount) to 72% off. And Olympia 6 (base) from a different sale category goes to 86% off.

    Just got the email for the new releases. Everything in it is returning a 404. Don't think I've ever received the email BEFORE the new releases were out before.

    The SkinWorks L.I.E. Tattoos released yesterday are no longer getting the loyalty discount applied. When added to my cart, it just gets the 51%, whilst yesterday it gave the 51% plus the loyalty discount - which should still apply on those still new releases. *I'm a PC member and have 30% loyalty. 

    Also, was the Simple Short Haircut removed from the 2015/2016 Top Sellers list? It was there for the past several days and is now gone. Was going to buy that today, but looks like it's already been cycled out - just wanted to confirm that.
