    Alkaline batteries are not rechargeable.  Some try to, but it's dangerous and ill advised.

    Actually, there were some rechargable alkalines made a few years back, don't know if they're still available. I don't think they compared well to nicads.
    Used to recharge regular D-cells by touching them for a few moments to a pair of jumper cables, just to make the flashlight last long enough to finish the emergency repairs. You could tell it was just right when they would double as hand warmers. Good times.

    Don't know. They were advertised as "rechargable alkalines", though. I think it eas the short number of charging cycles that did them in. They were less expensive than nicads, so probably not LIion.

    Good day!

    Temp is about 54f, so the local snow is all melted.  Highs in the mid-60s F next week, so it should be nice.

    Considering Festivus dinner.. maybe cook a small roast in the air fryer, or a quail if I can find one.  Will get more turnips for sure, other than that - uncertain.  Not a big 'ugh nog' fan, so that's more room in the fridge.  I do have a can of carrots, though!

    Other than that, destressing.  Lots of dreaming at night, but seriously weird stuff - even for me! Usually I wake up asking myself 'what in heck was all that about'?

    Looks like it'a going to be a brown Christmas...

    Ooohhhhh!!! I'm wanting to whine and complain, so I came here... LOL

    I am so procrastinating about getting all my stuff into my Library. Been doing a fresh install with the new Daz Studio...

    And it's SOOOOOOOoooooooo much work!!!!!! Wahhhh!!! I don't wanna install!!! I wanna play!!!

    Can't really play much till I get my stuff in there to play with, I guess...

    Not one you can bluff your way out of, that typo.

    My son, when we were closed while changing hosts, put "Please bare with us while we transfer everything"    When people queried if it was a typo I replied "No, because while we are closed you can't download any new styles for clothes, so Vicky and Mike are naked"

    Have experienced dreams like that as well recently.

    Bought a bottle of Amontillado Sherry last night, my favourite holiday sipping drink. Not sure what I'll do for the holiday itself, but like T-Day, it will most likely be something "non traditional".

    doh, taped a box i'se shipping with heavyduty packing tape forgot to put christmas cards in it.

    lovely leftover giftbox of wonderwoman jellybeans.  chiild likes supergirl, he's ehh for wonderwoman.

    who will eat wonderwoman's jellybeans???

     

    since when did postoffice caturday hours close at 1:pm?  got there at 1:15  bah foxtrot humbug
    coulda sworn they'd atleast open til 3pm

    I use kiwi with apple and lime.   Strawberries never last long enough to go into a smoothie,

    ...good to see your appetite is back.

    Big pot of dead bird in yellow Thai curry with green onions and petite carrots on the schedule for tonight.  That will last me four days. Nighttime temps gonna be around or below freezing all week so need to stay warm and the best (as well as tastiest) way is from the inside.

    Oh, the site itself is working, mostly.  One or two little things I need to polish, but it's functional.  It's getting customers to buy.  And getting vendors to stick around.  Everyone grabs the freebies, though.  I need to learn modeling and start creating things of my own.  I should try some texturing again, too.  Marketing is also difficult.

    Usual Saturday hours end at 12 noon for my PO.  So you got an extra hour, and still missed it!
