    Ahahhahahhaha!  So right!  6 looks a bit trepidatious about the whole situation, and 7 is ready for action.  I think it's mostly the poses though.  Face wise, 7 looks more like a normal guy, 8 is definately more on the model side of things...  really depends on what kind of guy you need for you scene, but pose and facial expression is the most important thing.  I mean Will Smith I would call a pretty boy, but that's never stopped him from looking totally bad-a** if he wants to.

    Holy crud.. I just realised why D7 looks so familiar, there is a lovely old man that worked as a greeter at our local wallyworld, he's gotta be at least 70 but he could easily be D7's grandpa.  I always used to give him a hug when we came in.  Now they require greeters to be able to lift like 60lbs or something so they moved him to the back taking care of the order to store desk, I was so happy they didn't lay him off.  I go back there sometimes just to chat with him.

    LOL, too funny!  Our walmart greeters (at least the 2 I usually see) have walkers.  One of them has the walker that has the little seat on it so he can sit down.  I'm willing to bet he can't lift a wet cat, let alone 60lbs!  That's just not right.  Dang walmart.

    True. Pose and expression are big keys to the scene.  Here though he has that thousand yard stare.....  Hellooooo, next in line please.....  Yep, will can be bad but then look like a little kid who just made a mess on the kitchen floor!

    I know right.. there's always plenty of strapping young cart gatherers around to help with heavy things so it seams rather silly.

    They had another one, a lady in one of those super expensive electric wheel chairs, they moved her to registers.. so at least they didn't lay anyone off that I noticed which was good.

    thanks guys just wanted to do a basic compare test but does have the look, the Darius 8 HD morph should be pretty impressive when released. With this I maxed out the settings to get as much detail as could no extra lights just camera

    Here's my first quicky Darius 8 render. I must say, had to do some tweaking, gave him a little bulk then had to make his head and eyes a little bigger. Don't know what's going on with the crotch area, probably the pose and the G3 short and I didn't add his "man parts".  Overall, not bad. The skin is ok just the lips a little too red. I like him.

    I like what you made of D8!

    I didn't have the time to play much with him, but in this short time I had to do some tweaking, too. I 'customize' almost every character - except a few rare masterpieces from a few PAs - but Darius' eyes are really disturbing me. They are asymmetrical, the left eye being much bigger than the right. Small asymmetries are fine; in 3D they add to the 'credibility' of a character. But this is a bit too much for my taste, the more as the (very thin) eyelashes also load extremely asymmetrical. I hope I can fix it.

    The 'lacquered' lips of M8 and D8 have already been mentioned, and I don't like the always yellowish/bloodshot looking sclera of Daz's black figures. And there is something else: Why does Daz always set the diffuse of the skin/lips/nails to 50% in 3DL???? Why not to 85-100%, like most PAs do it?

    Apart from this, I like Darius 8! ;-)

    Great render.  I like him like this with a bit more bulk.

    Quick comparison images, I thought some of the hair items in Michael 8's pro bundel and Darius 8 were similar and wanted to see how they rendered. I really like both hair. Darius 8 bundle is amazing with the clothes and poses included.
