    I think the opening image in the email promo looks like a genericized Dr J, for those that ever heard of Dr J. All the characters & hairs look good. I don't have any of the previous Darius' so no discount outside of the standard PC+ Club for me and that's $66 & change for those that wonder how that sort of discount would work. What I've really needed, OK, wanted though are the RedzStudio hairs & that fade is good too.

    Darius 8 seems to be excellent, and he is by far the most attractive male DO base figure I saw in a long time. His Pro Bundle... I’m hesitating. The characters are both by FW (why not at least one by another PA?). The Gladiator costume is not all bad (sandals look silly); it reminds a bit of Issey Miyake‘s style, which I like... Hmmm...

    What the heck? Tyrone's eyelashes load (from the Content Library, using the icon under Characters for Genesis 8 Male) as a long, solid gray curved rectangle. Anyone else-  can you see if you get those results?    @redzstudio  is the vendor.  EDIT: If you load from the file under Characters (the main mats, not the eyelashes) it's fine. But it should NOT require doing that, the character icon should work too. He's a great character!

    Darius 8 is cute but a little disappointed in the items in the pro bundle.  Thought there would be more modern clothes. Tyrone is amazing. I agree, wished another PA would have contributed a character as well.  That being said, into the cart with you, Darius 8!

    Well I love Darius 8 and particularly the hairs. Have to say though I think these might be some of my least favorie promos since they were in 3delight. The later ones are OK but the first 8 are what even

     

    This will haunt my dreams. His teeth look like they're made of ghosts. And these seem to not be the default material settins so IDK

    Price still seems kind of high to me compared to previous bundles. About $15 to $20 more. Have bundles gone up that much?

    Bought the pro bundle but the Badlands Gladiator Outfit for Genesis 8 Male(s) is no where to be found?

    And of course I forgot to add the Darius 6 pro bundle, I guess there is no way to recive it free after the purchase?

    Sure there is. Just go up to Help and contact Sales Department by filing a support ticket. They're great about helping.

    I hate you. It was going to be easy not to buy it right now, but at this discount... grrr. Aunt Jean in Minnesota gets a nice card instead of a box of chocolates cheeky

    Well.... I changed my mind.  With the 25% off plus the free pro bundles for 6 and 7 due to previous purchases it was just too good of a deal to pass.  I'm super excited about the hair and it looks like there is a great mix of characters and skins.  And, I do like a majority of the clothing.  So, my Christmas present to myself lol.

    j cade snoozing, as ghost teeth float eerily around the head..... Funny image!  I agree though, I saw the teeth and wondered why they were left that way.

    I think I'll be taking a pass.  What is with the lips on these Gen8 males? And those clothes? Really.  I need another set of flip flops. Perhaps you ought to have seduced Samsil for the clothes as well because none of these are selling the package for me, not by a long shot.

    And does it not bother anyone that not a stitch of his clothing is Dforce compatible?

    The trouble is that the G8 characters need to load with their eyelashes in order to be a complete character. But when you load onto a pre-existing character, you them end up with a second set of eyelashes in the scene, and these appear untextured. It’s just a matter of deleting the second set of lashes. I’m not sure if there is any simple workaround on this issue, but would be interested to hear if there is.

    I'm confused about the discounts for Darius 8. I'm a PC+ member and I own Darius 6 Pro Bundle and Darius 7 base. I didn't get any message or orange banner. Here's how they are working out for me:

    Pro Bundle: $66.13 (51%)
    Starter Bundle: $44.08 (51%)
    Base: $22.03 (51%)

    Is this right or should it be lower than that? Is this not a lot more expensive than previous Gen8 releases.

    You should at least be getting 10% off for owning 1 of the pro bundles, which would bring the price of the Pro bundle down to $59.

    ETA: I've checked the banner again and it say 1 or more of the previous Darius pro bundles and gives 25% off. So based on the banner, you should be seeing a price of $49 when you add the pro bundle to your cart. You should also be able to get Darius 7 Pro bundle for free, if you add it to your cart.

    Most of the previous pro bundles ran about $35, some less than that.

    I believe it can be fixed/avoided. I submitted Request #251295:Applying Genesis 8 Basic Male to an existing G8M Character loads a second set of eyelashes and that got fixed. Ask Daz how they fixed it.

    The only gen8 pro bundle that went down that low for me was Monique 8, when combined with the discount. Lucas also went around 40 a week or two after the release I believe, which was also pretty low; Michael and Victoria ran about the same as Darius 8, I think... maybe I’m forgetting how much I paid though

    Yeah, I didn't want to be Debbie Downer, but he's not that great and the clothes look like PC items.  I like the hair.  Thank GOD there's a Samsil hair product in the pack.  I buy every Samsil product I can afford at the 'other store'.  I wish they'd have let him/her do one of the extra characters in the pack and we'd have gotten a decent ethnic male character.  If you've ever seen Samsil's characters, they're authentic real world and skins are amazing.  A

    And the pro bundle price is pretty high since I own previous pro bundles.  So that's not a good incentive for me to want to buy either.  Oh well.....

    I have an exclusive offer in the messages. Exclusive offer is "You have one of the past Darius pro bundles, so have an extra 10% off".     Additional discounts for the other non-bundle items are showing up in the cart now. Assuming they stabilize where they are, they're quite nice.     The Capsces Poses and Expressions don't currently have a promo image in the pro bundle, but they're listed at the bottom in the Included items; without that promo, it looks at first glance as though there are only 10 items in the Darius pro bundle, compared to 11 in the Olympia, Teen Josie, Stephanie, Lucas, and Monique 8 pro bundles, and 12 in the Victoria 8 pro bundle . The LINK for the Capsces poses has a placeholder text of LINK, which actually goes to a product in the store, which makes for an oddly funny false drop.

    Hmmm... I'm getting an offer of 25% off Darius 8.  The lowest I can get the Pro bundle to is $49.60.  Has anyone gotten it lower?

    Bundles released in September, October, and the first half of November were treated to extra discounts due to the PA Festival and the PC+ Anniversary sales. Traditionally, Pro bundles are released with a 30% intro discount, or $94.47, just like any other new release. If you're a PC+ member, you also get the 30% DO discount, bringing the intro price down to $66.13. Daz has had some unbelievable discounts thrown in from time-to-time, but $35 as typical? No. Sorry. That's just not accurate.

    Now, if you're willing to wait 60 days or longer to pick up a Pro bundle, they do go on sale, and sometimes are offered at stupid-cheap prices when purchasing a new release. I got Victoria 7 Starter bundle for free last year, with a new release pruchase. (Don't recall if it required one or multiples to qualify.)

    I rarely complain but I agree I wish Samsil could have contributed a character with a more "real world" look to the bundle, The character in the main promo for the Top Fade hair doesn't even look like Darius 8. And the guy in the what a man poses looks like Darius 7. I'll get him for his genes and the base skin.  Not happy with the clothes at all I don't even understand the bandlands gladiator outfit

    Me neither! I get it as kind of makeshift armor but it looks like the wound-around leather straps are going to fall straight down off the fabric, they're not even tight.

    Though to be honest I think I might be able to go for the belt/bottom piece on its own.

    My 25% message turned up a short while ago and I snagged Darius 8 Pro and Darius 7 Pro, so now I'm a happy bunny. (Just the small matter of downloading it all.)
