Morning. City towers sagging a little in 80 degree heat a couple of hours after dawn,am  enjoying a slight sea breeze in a shady spot right now but an unblinking eggshell blue sky is promising a lot of heat later on :)

Sounds nice.  Break out the iced tea!  :)

Must be 100 in the shade where I sit right now, just drank  a 1.25 litre bottle of ‘bubbles of fun zero sugar’  (not kidding) lemonade cos it was cold, it tasted both sugary and flat,  must be one of those post-truth things. That is my complaint nao :0

Broke down and ordered pizza, to go with my last few beers.  12in crispy crust with bacon, pepperoni, meatballs, mushrooms, and black olives.  Some garlic cheese bread 'for later' and six hot wings and I'll feast for about 3-4 days.  Wow, the wings are hotter than a $1000 a night hooker!  I ended up drinking the entire container of bleu cheese dressing just to cool down a bit.  The cheese garlic bread is amazing, it's 3 cheese - mozarella, parm, and cheddar.  Sooooo good!  The pizza is all going into the fridge for the next few days.

Only 2 more beers left, then it's over to wodka.

EEEuuuwwww, sweaty shirt! Dumping the ranch dressing on the bread, cooooooling.

Yams done and cooled, will be stored in the fridge once I scrape the goodie out into a container.

Then, back to skeleton archers, ugh.

Mmmmm near;y lunchtime here, Pizza might be nice tho too lazy to travel for one- I guess that’s what deliverers are for ;)

Pizza should be provided by law!!!!

    No it shouldn't!

    Yes it should! :P

I’ve had Pizza in more than a few contracts, we have to get fed if we work overtime but pizza may vary location to location, the further you go outback the more the definition of pizza gets fuzzy until ‘does it have to be pizza?’ comes up ;0

When I was a game developer, every overtime session and weekend had free food.  90 percent of the time it was some kind of pizza, and there were never leftovers - but sometimes our producer (who supplied  the pizza) got 'creative'.  Most extreme case, and after 15 years I can still taste it in my mouth - shrimp and anchovy.  Just wrong. *barf*

Wednesday morning.. rough night sleeping, kept getting leg cramps.  Probably not enough water during the day, it does that to me.

Looking forward to Friday, going to sleep in!  No alarm at all for the first week of December, then will resume normal-ish hours until I get work.  A lovely 58f out, window open a bit before it hits 78f later today.  Will be like this the next few days.

Might bbq over the weekend, maybe slow cook a roast.  Dunno yet.

Complaint: Just not waking up.  Tea not working yet.  Need to run errands at lunch.  Need to shave, I look like a fuzzball.

She is very good in that ;)

it was a refreshing change in the scifi genre.  no gore or bloody carnage.  and still managed to keep a high level of suspense.  smiley

starting my day at the day job with a strawberry-bananananan smoothie, instead of latte.

health benefit prolly canceled out by sugar, they really put in a whole banana, watched it go in.

who was on the sleigh ride with Parson Brown?

they got upsot, doesn't say what happened to the one horse

2:22pm and 78f!  Too warm to open the window, which I shoukdn't do anyway being sick.  Kow tonight 54f. Groceries arrived, now have turnips, olive oil mayo, fava beans, green tea bags and double bergamot Earl Grey!  I'm trying to just use the Keurig to make hot water as apparently k-cup pods do not recycle. :(

After some sleep, feeling better, still watery itchy eyes amd runny nose. No tea worries now, thankfully.

    More napping needed...

Check your local grocer. I know that there are reusable kits for Keurig type machines. Melitta makes one, and there are some no-name versions as well. You can also get it here ===>  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Melitta-JavaJig-Reusable-Coffee-Filter-System-1-0-PACK/22017636 Apparently Wally-World is out of stock, but I'm sure other retailers still have some. I saw them in Safeway (Albertsons).

Those look pretty interesting.. I wonder if they work in my Keurig 2.0? The damn thing won't use just any pod, the pod has to be 'tagged' so the machine knows it's a licensed manufacturer.. one more reason to just use it for hot water. :|

DRM coffee was one of the dumbest marketing ploys I've ever seen. You can get around it by taking one of your licensed cups and just taping the bit of the lid that it scans right on to the scanner.

Smoothies seem like a good, healthy idea until you see the sugars.  Last time I had a smoothie it sent my blood glucose through the roof!  I guess if you go work out right after it might burn the sugar off, but I'm not so sure.  One medium banana averages 14 grams of sugar!!! Holy loach! No wonder my dietician told me to avoid bananas.

Geebus, one cup of grapes   No fruit for meeeee! Thank Deity I like meat and veggies...

Just ordered 2 bottles of bbq sauce, and one jar of medium salsa verde.  Set for weeks now!

Non-complaint: fridge full of food.  Mostly meat, cheese, veggies.  Morning Thunder tea arrived, now have 5 flavors of tea! :)

A little of both.  I have Morning Thunder, Green  Tea, Earl Grey double bergamot, Sleepytime, Mint Magic, and Tenion Tamer.  So black tea, green tea, and herbal teas.  Something for every occasion. :)

Haven't had leg cramps in a while.  I was told by my doctor that low potassium levels can cause that.  Eat a banana, or a date...they have even more potassium.  Just found that out a few weeks ago.

I was thinking of doing 3D figurines for Christmas presents, but it looks like it will cost a hundred dollars per figurine if I choose to paint it myself.   Uggghhh and that is not including the cost of paint and paint brushes, ect.

...feeling the same about Wisconsin making it into the mix for the FBS championshp playoffs (ahead of the perennial "darling" of the polls, 'Bama), and seeing SEC biased ESPN actually giving them some major props.

Yeah, they still havethe Big Ten Championship against Ohio State, but unlike 3 years ago, the Badgers are a faster team on both sides of the ball with the #1 defence in all of college football (back then it was ranked #15) and a surprisingly explosive offence.
