Mary Queen of Scotts wasn't really a queen, or even Scottish, right?
the movie made no sense to me, saw it like 30 years ago.
..still getting "fallout" from "Giving Tuesday". Usually when I wake up I have about 50 - 60 emails (thanks in part to being 3 hours behind the east coast) however the last couple mornings, it's been over 100.
Tuesday the count was somewhere between 400 and 500 by day's end.
Yeah Strawberries are great, but it's the whipped creme and shortcake that kicks the ol' blood sugar up for me.
I didn't get too many begs on Giving Tuesday, just about 10, but there's been an increase in email from people concerned about my sexual health and my breast size. :|
I eat strawberries straight, just rinse 'em and go!
Complaint: too warm in my room, but then it's 77f outside and the Sun hits me directly for about 2-3 hours across Noon.
Non-complaints: raspberry/peach chipotle bbq sauce, Texas mesquite bbq sauce, and medium hot tomatillo salsa arrived!!!
perogee / appogee - scifi words
..yeah lots of emails here, the price I pay for being a "concerned citizen".
Yes, she was - Queen of Scotland, mother of James VI (James I of england after the death of Elizabeth I). Also Queen of France for a while. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary,_Queen_of_Scots
...went off yesterday to the local "Cash & Carry" which is an outlet primarily for restaurants but is open to the public. Great prices, loaded up on things for the next month that are otherwise horribly expensive at regular supers. Got more coconut milk for curries (3 cans for about what one would cost at Safeway), 5# bag of sushi rice for the price of a 2# bag, rice stick noodles at 1/3 the price, and a nice big foodservice container for for my rolled oats (no more worrying about the bag splitting open as I buy them in bulk which is a lot cheaper than the pre packaged ones).
A good portion of what they sell though is in big lots/containers for the restaurant industry which I'd never use up before it went bad, like 10# bags of shredded parmesan, 60 oz cans of chili, 5 gal of soy sauce, and 5# blocks of creme cheese. They also have foodservice supplies as well such as various utensils, mixing bowls, storage containers, dishware, serving containers, and catering supplies, all at pretty reasonable prices.
They've been my "go to" place for a lot of Asian ingredients since most of the small mom & pop Asian groceries I used to shop at were priced out of the city and either moved to the outer burbs or went out of business.
No, they are science words. Not fiction. Can be used in scifi, but they are actual words and actual things.

And so, the contract ends. I'll submit a timecard for thr 4 days this week next Friday, and the last bit of business is done.
Let the drinking begin! Going to open my last bottle of Arrogant Bastard and toast myself for leaving behind a very happy customer who will be a fantastic reference. :)

okay thanks.
The history of England, Scotland, Wales, is murky in our high school history. every school grade, history only went up to the American civil war. not the 1960s stuff, 1860s. hopefully school thesae days is more up to date.
this was fun

math help woes
google spreadsheet has a chart to stack percentages to a 100%
the foxtrot chart won't display the value as a percent, it will show the % if hovered over number.
so now i'm stuck making a formula to show the percent of a 100.
but i can't find how to stack it to a 100.
so like Year To Date hours = like 300 in one category, and 500 in a 2nd category.
so like how to calculate those values in percentages to = 100%???????
My mother-in-law used to make those!
Not a fan.
Dana
Percentage of what? You need a nuber to compare the category value to in order to get a percentage. For example, 300 out of how many possible? 1000? Then that's 30% but without knowing the 1000, there's no way to calculate a percentage. The problem is not well defined here.
Dana
oh thanks. i just started a plea for help thread on it https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/215336/ot-please-math-help-stacking-percentage-to-100#latest
there's a cell with hours worked and a 2nd cell with hours worked. i'm pointing to those 2 cells.
count of 2 will be constant. trying to get the percentage of both values to a total percent of a 100%
doesn't need calculus right? didn't do well in calc. what was Newton talking about? lol
No calculus, simple algebra. Very simple. I hate algebra.
Well, if 800 hours is 100%, that's easy...
300/800 = x/100
============================
30,000 = 800x
============================
30,000 / 800 = x
============================
x = 37.5%
But if 800 is not the 100% value, then I still can't help you.
Dana
Never seen it, but I'll look for it now :)
TY
...mmmmmm...pierogi i wódka ziemniaczana.
...usually one of their seasonal ales this time of year.
..well was bored last night and did some "memory lane walking" on YouTube and Google images.
Bugger, maybe going back to my old hood might not be a bad idea, Found several nice houses for sale at less than you'd pay for one of those "tiny houses" here in Portland.
For example the house below which, is in very nice condition, would easily go for 375,000$ - 400,000$ here in Portland. On the south side of Milwaukee where it is located (very near to where I grew up): 104,000$
It has 4 bedrooms 1 bath, is 1,220 Sq ft, and is on a 4,360 sq ft lot with gas heat and cooking as well as it's in a nice safe neighbourhood with good transit access (2 bus routes). Average monthly cost (including principal, interest, insurance, and property tax) is 690$. Here in Portland you are lucky to find a single bedroom in a shared house for that. I could almost swing this on my Social Security.
You're welcome!
Dana
