Wow! Awesome looking character! It looks like Daz did a great job on him!
I really liked Darius 7, but I think I like Darius 8 even more. He's a bit younger and a bit more handsome, imo.
What do you guys think of Darius 8?

Yep. They did a great job. He reminds me of a cross between Babyface and a young Denzel. Bundle is low on needed items, though. We still need a Giorgio Armani suit with an appropriate collar and tie.

Just wanted to add on that I am SO happy to see Samsil in the store, just bought several of their hair products at the other store.
Now just not sure if I need to wait until the 1st to get the bundle. Really like his looks.

Didn't think much of the Pro or Starter bundles (because of the clothing mostly). Maybe just Samsil's hair, Tyrone and Darius ;).

Tyrone's my first actual crush on a figure.. the fact he has fibermesh brows and hair and facial hair and pubes!! I Can't!!
I've been holding out for Darius 8 for a long time as I have a main black character in my story.. and I'm so happy!! Everything I ever dreamed of!
But the hair is especially important for my social media persona, who only has one of Redz other styles.. and I feel like this one is more versatile.

Love him! Feels like I have been waiting forever as D7 was the next must buy on my list back when V8 came out. Then I decided to wait, because I knew I would want D8 so I could get D7 for free, but it's been a long wait. lol Tyrone also went into my cart immediately he's adorable. The short Afro hair also, it's so much nicer then the old scull cap I have been using.
The orange banner probably won't show up until tomorrow morning. And I suspect there will be the usual additional discount for people who already have the add-on D6 and D7 Pro bundles, although it isn't shwing in the cart now.
Very nice add-ons, and while the gladiator thingie is silly as all get out, most of the clothing looks either directly usable, or has pieces which can kitbash nicely.
wow, that Tyrone character looks fantastic, and omg there is an albino option!!! that is FANTASTIC. April's Terran hair looks great (as usual), Redz short hair is great, love the beard and hair ones...the gladiator outfit is ridiculous and awful looking, but I like the demon master coat and the boardwalk outfit. Not getting the bundle, but I'll wishlist some of the stuff for later.
I have an exclusive offer in the messages. Exclusive offer is "You have one of the past Darius pro bundles, so have an extra 10% off". Mildly surprised at how limited it is compared to recent offers; I wonder why? (I have both Darius 6 and 7 pro bundles, so this is probably as good as it's going to get.)
Additional discounts for the other non-bundle items are showing up in the cart now. Assuming they stabilize where they are, they're quite nice. The additional discounts are only for the other items and not the bundles, at the moment, but that may change when they kick the store to make everything settle out, if they need to do that.
The Capsces Poses and Expressions don't currently have a promo image in the pro bundle, but they're listed at the bottom in the Included items; without that promo, it looks at first glance as though there are only 10 items in the Darius pro bundle, compared to 11 in the Olympia, Teen Josie, Stephanie, Lucas, and Monique 8 pro bundles, and 12 in the Victoria 8 pro bundle . The LINK for the Capsces poses has a placeholder text of LINK, which actually goes to a product in the store, which makes for an oddly funny false drop.
The only problem I have is that I have to wait... I can't wait to see the first renders though...
I think Darius 8 looks really good, I have been looking for a hairstyle like the short afro, and Darius 7 is in my wishliost. I just hope the offer to get Darius 6 & 7 free is still in effect Friday when I get paid.

Hard to tell. I just took another look at the exclusive offer for Darius 8, because those usually have an expiration date that can be used as a guideline. According to the offer in my mailbox, the exclusive 10% discount on Darius 8 expires ... Monday, November 20, 2017.

I went into my Message Centre and say I get 10% off for owning 1 Darius Pro bundle - only problem I own 2, Darius 6 and Darius 7 pros. And i saw the expiry date too :-)
I'll report the date thing, but it might not be straightened out till they're in the office. Does it work, though? (I mean, is it just a typo?)
For me the most important thing is, that SamSil appeared with his product, finally at Daz3D.
He is my favorite vendor for many years.

Darius 8 is a great character and has the realism that was in Monique 8 so in my opinion a great couple. However, I am very disappointed in the clothing, having only adjustment morphs, and basically limited function. For example, I liked the Broadway casual outfit, but the shirt doesn't open, in fact there seems no similar function in any of the clothing. Also, we now have dforce, but no specific mention that any of this clothing has been designed specifically with that ability of use. ( Can't say I have seen any male clothing yet that has been designed specifically for use with dforce.)
Sadly, this will be yet another pass for me. Great character, but unfortunately lacking in clothing functionality.

Same here. Own D6 and D7 Pro Bundles, message refers to only one. Hope this will be fixed soon bringing another 10%.
Monique 8 pro bundle was just over 30 dollars for me when she came out, plus I got Monique 7 pro for free, so that seemed like a good deal, so I grabbed it.
Darius 8 pro is almost 60 dollars and I already own both of his older bundles, so I will likely pass on that offer. I do like the base figure, 2 of the outfits and the hair though, plus the Tyrone character and the afro hair, but I can wait until it all gets cheaper (although that might not be for many months)

Also, Darius 8 is amazing!! Hands down the best Genesis 8 male so far. If he and Monique are any indication, Lee and Mei Lin 8 (and hopefully Kimo and Kalea 8) are going to be awesome.
Yeah me too, I even see a bit V8's giant joker mouth in him (look at the second picture in this thread).
Nevertheless I like Darius 8 and specially Tyrone and got the Pro Bundle with Texture addons, additional Hair and Tyrone. Quite a heavy price difference compared to Monique 8!
