Well every few hours all night may not be too much of a problem for me. With her chemo treatments my puppy generally wakes me up to go out every 4 to 5 hours; so, I'm used to it and could make a quick check of the DAZ offers at that time and then go back to sleep.
Not a problem for me, my cats wake me up around 1 am or 2 am... and Significant Otter wakens around 5 am, so that's sorted for me.
Ugh. Took forever to realize that there were DAZ cookies still blocking the sales in Firefox, so I missed the first batch,which actually HAD things I don't have. This current batch is stuff that I have. Has anyone posted if it's confirmed that the'll be sticking to the original schedule confirmed times that new stuff will be going up?
And what the heck, I submitted a Help request requesting a free copy of Harpoon Girl since I would have had it if the dang sale had been working right in the first place.
I got 2 1/2 hours of sleep then my cat woke me up coughing up a hairball. lol So I thought I'd just pop on to grab a freebie since I was already woken up. :) Grabbed V6's HD Add-On. Not bad!
Back to bed for me. See you all in a few hours. Ahhh The addiction is bad. hahah

So at what time do the Freebies turn over? I only was lacking one, and certainly NOT going to plan my day around this (ignore my 89 year old mother? NO.) but if I'm home, I'll check in.
Apparently the lastest change was at 8AM MST, so every 4 hours after that.
Just repeat the main blocks and it'll always be (for example) 2, 6, and 10 EST.
Thanks all. I'm headed out to spend the afternoon with my 89 year old mom as it is Thanksgiving here, so much more important than freebies. And I only was missing one so far anyway. But even if I wasn't, today is about appreciating family. She'll turn 90 December 7th.

I stayed up for almost four hours and nothing ever shows up. So I go to bed, and they finally put something up... five items, and I don't own any of them. But I'm asleep, so I don't get any of them. Then I wake up, turn on the monitor and refresh the page and there is... one item I don't own; nothing I would use. But it's close to Daz Noon, so I hang out reading this thread and wait for the changeover... and there's one item I don't have, a texture for something I do have, so I grab it.
Can't speak for anyone else, but the free offer is rather anticlimatic for me.

Snagged Michael 6 HD last round, this time looks like I own everything in the batch.
I never thought I had few items, but I could already grab 8 from the freebies so far. This last batch only had 1 item, so I did not add a new item to the cart, even though there is something I want to buy. So come on Daz, the next batch should have at least 3 stuff in it that I don't already have! :DDD
I grabbed the Minato Outfit, even though I'll probably get that whenever Darius 8 Pro comes out, since it's in the Darius 6 Pro Bundle. But for free? Sure. After I did that transaction, I loaded my cart with a new release, ready for the next round, which will be from the relative's house on my phone. LOL
Same for me. I've seen all three offers so far and there were a couple of things I could get but I can't be bothered.
I'll probably miss a bunch now due to sleeping but that's okay.
You should have grabbed the Minato textures instead then because those aren't in the pro bundle.
I did notice that refreshing the page with the freebies on it did nothing. I eventually backed out and refreshed the main page then came back into it to find hte new free items. I'm using Google Chrome.
After 12 hours I finally got something - there were two texture sets that I didn't already have, so I took the one for Newport as the one for Minato just seemed to change the colors of the pants. Of course, I couldn't have used the buy one/get three option even if I'd wanted to, which seem like lousy planning on DAZ's part if the idea was to actually encourage additional sales.
I put in a help request asking for an item that was in the first round. It seems a legitimate request since the main reason I missed it was because they bolluxed the launch and by staying up way too late to see if it would get fixxed, I ended up sleeping through the first batch that finally went up.
It seems that this promotion would have been far better thought out and more customer friendly if they'd put more items in the "free" pool at a time and cut the opportunity windows to every six hours so that it wouldn't be messing with people's sleep cycles so badly. As it is, I'm sure that the programmers who were up trying to fix it at three in the morning on the night before Thanksgiving were just totally LOVING the people who came up with this promotion... not.
You buy the two you want, plus one from the list that you already own. Although I haven't tried what happens if you put just two next to a new release. Doesn't that make them free?
Yeah, it does. So put two in the cart along with a free item, and the two turn free.
Yeah, that does work, but I can't see much point in actually buying something just to get a set of textures that look to be little more than a few alterations to the diffuse color, when I could already get the Newport textures, which actually change the product's appearance significantly, for free just by putting it in the cart. I'll keep that option in mind at 4 MST, though, just in case there's actually more than one thing I want.
