I think it's supposed to be that extra incentive. I see people on the forum subtract the PC+ monthly coupons from the cost of an item.
So they go 'mentally, it's really $3 dollars' after taking $6 off the cost.
Well it would have been great if the three free items were Daz Originals and not super old V4 era items...
We keep saying that old items hold their value, but then those are the items they throw around for free at every turn.
Can't be both. Every two weeks the items are 50 cents or free, but for the time in-between they are $15+...
Not that I disagree with the sentiment, however, with UV Swap products from Slowhwerks, (G3 and G8,) you can use those skins on the males.

Probably the same person that came up with lets have a new set of items every four hours for several days straight.
Had $150.00 worth of cheap stuff in my cart when the sale started, trying to whittle it down to less than a hundred.
First items, nothing worth doing that much work. Pass.
Futzed around all day, comfy chair, book, drink... Thanksgiving.
Forgot about sale, went to bed.
Now here I am again, 24 hours later. Country girl dress for G3. Want the boots.
Dump the cart, get free dress. Thanks, DAZ, you saved me $100 or so.
Add a "Buy Now" button to the icon that would take me to checkout for that one item, it wouldn't have happened.

Not sure if Hitomi is working correctly. Her page is showing at 70% off. In the cart with a new item, it's up to 73% off. Is that the correct increase? It could be, and I'm too tired for DAZ math right now.
Does that Export.Import CV of cart arrangements work?
I've done that to export my cart, but never tried re-opening a cart.
I wouldn't say that. The cheapest you can do is pay $1.39 for the 3 items, that's not bad if you plan on using them. I go with a slightly more expensive solution, and instead of the cheapest $1.39 new item, I go with an item I actually want, making it something like 2-3 bucks.

Exactly. Go to the store, type "new" in the search box, click "show all," sort by "price low to high," and see what you like. If you want the cheapest option, uncheck "hide owned," and you can even re-buy the cheapest item you already have.
It's only export currently. It's a Daz-Deals extension feature, not a core Daz feature. Saving carts is on our future feature list though. :)

I wouldn't say that. Every 4 hours is every 4 hours no matter where you live. You once figure out when it happens at your place, and keep adding 4 hours to that.
You can either use a webpage to calculate the time difference, or simply read back a few posts right in this very thread, and you'll see exactly when previous batches went live.
To make it even easier: it will change again in 15 minutes from the date of this post. Then keep adding 4 hours to that.

This is quite comfortable actually. I mean, I used to wake up at 2AM to see the goodies during the PC+ sale. So going to bed at 10:15 PM and waking up at 5:45AM is a piece of cake. Then wait 15 minutes for the new batch. And today, we can even go check at Amazon, Wayfair etc to see if they can compete with Daz for our money. Highly unlikely. I know. So let's try to guess what Daz will do for Sunday. Yesterday, V4M4 were 80% off, today Genesis are 70% off and G3 have been on sale at 50% all along. So tomorrow, we can expect G2s at 60% off. That leaves Sunday. Any guesses?
i have a new PC item picked out, in case there are three of the freebies that I really want. So far, there haven't been 3. I'm content with just picking one for nothing. I think two batches ago had the most amount of freebies for me..there were four. And I still didn't want three of them. LOL
I can see why this sale works. Normally I would not buy a new item to get the 60% discount on the featured artists because that's not 60% off anymore. :D But if I get 3 free items to go along with it, then I might go for it. Daz won yesterday :D and my cart isloaded up with items from this batch, so they will most likely win today, too. :D

Darn. I slept through this one. Would've love to have gotten that Country Girl outfit. Oh well.
I had low expectations, but these freebies have been better than most of the freebies I've gotten from Daz the rest of the year in my opinion. and there's still 17 rounds to go.
You can organize the rest time and sleep enough, for example at 00:01 you take the freebie. The next round is at 04:00 but you have time until 07:59 to pick up the gift. It's about 8 hours to sleep.
Works on me too now. There's a genesis armor set that $8.99.
I love it, but don't want to spend $8.99 on something so old.
But add one new (inexpensive) NEW item and the whole cart + freebies comes out to $12 and change.
That amounted to $2.00 an item in total.
