    Was trying to load my cart and the site started bugging out. I'll wait till morning and try again.

    Plus I need a sheet of paper and a pencil to figure out a best-buying strategy.

    This one is awesome, if not complicated. lol

    At this point, I think I'm trying to clean out antfarm and get some Aeon Soul.

    I think everyone else is already empty.

    Maybe some more Deviney- I slept on his offerings...She was right, they are extremely useful....

    And the gift card offer is nuts - so I have to figure what combination gets me the most disocunts....lol

    Ah well, the older items I want most aren't reduced, and I'm waiting for either my cc to reset or Faveral's new offering to hit the shops - whichever happens first -, so I'm sitting out this catchup.

    Yeah, sitting this out, the sales are not that good even with a loaded cart. Unless someone can kind some hidden "easter eggs" that trigger unexpected results.

    EDIT False Alarm; on rereading the  banner, these are old items that get the 30% off; it turns out that I misread an 'Or" for an "And'...

    So what does the Bonus Buyer look like for the weekend...trying to determine if I should jump in?

    Also, it's the Mad or "Still Mad" items that trigger it, right?  Was thinking of picking up Dominator Planet, to setup Bonus Buyer for the weekend shopping...

    My cart is at $659. Time to start emptying it down to approx $50. lol

    But again, I found a modular apartment set that should kill my hunger for apartment interiors...

    The Antfarm is basically his whole collection and Deviney (Ron's stuffs) since I've been using it so much lately.

    Nothing extra there now. (Will it last over the weekend, too?)

    Anything with a non-zero price triggers it.

    I wish this had been happening earlier when I bought Chase!  laugh

     

    However, I don't think it's that particular  discount stacking, as the difference (accounting for the 10% off Bonus) is a 17% discount...

    Hmm. The "Buy 3 still mads, get 40% of PC+" doesn't seem to be working on PC+ items that still have the "new" tag.  But the gift card is clocking in at 21% off.

    It's always vaguely stressful when I was planning on spending my remaining credit and instead am encouraged to spend actual cash to get more credit. hmmmm.

    There are 5 PC+ items in Still Mad. If you are a member and haven't already picked them up, you can use 3 of them to trigger the highest Gift Card discount. And if you're also a Bonus Buyer, that discount is 21%, (as thistledownsname pointed out, above.)

    Hmm.  Only two PC+ left for me in the Mad section.  So those and the cheapest texture pack, and a $100 gift card...  brings it back to 12% off! (2.24+2.24+4.09+79.2 = $87.77).  But a bigger gift card will raise that effective percentage.  Hmm.

    Just 1 still mad item will actually get you a 15% off gift card, 2 = 17%, and 3 = 21%. At least, that's how it worked for me when I was going back and forth trying to decide.

    I eventually got the Epic HDR Skydomes and Planet Dominator and with a $60 gift card at 17% off, the 2 items were actually free. So the DAZ math is working in our favor this morning.

    Do the Matt and Megan textures transfer to other G3 characters readily? I think they would, but I want to be sure before I purchase. ... This year, the march madness for myself has been toony stuff ?!?!

    Hilariously, at the $75 gift card price point, w/ Bonus Buyer, you get a gift card alone for $67. If you add one Mad PC+ item, the total drops to $66. If you add another, the total stays at $66. If you add the third, still $66!

    My gift card was just eaten by the store. Not as in I spent it, I redeemed it for store credit - and NOTHING!!! No store credit! I put in a help ticket, I guess it will give me longer to decide what to put in my cart today. :D

    Did you just hit the "Redeem" button and wait for something to happen, or did you click on the "Store Credit" link afterwards? It's been a long-standing complaint that nothing seems to happen after clicking the "Redeem" button.

    I clicked on the store credit, just teh $3.00 from my last card was there

    No error message at top of the page? (easy to overlook). Be careful with spaces before and after the code, it will give an error (unless they have fixed that recently).

    nope, and the card says said it had $0.00 on it, but I just got an email and they fixed it, so now I can go shopping! They really have great customer service, and I got a lot more work done while I was waiting, now I'm going to loose a couple hours putting things in and out of my cart. :D

    This didn't make sense to me, either. At the end of the month, offering a discount on a gift card when the remaining duration of the sale is uncertain - when the sale itself has been relatively less exciting than previous sales - didn't encourage me to take them up on the offer.

    ​Instead - I spent my remaining budget at another store I rarely buy at that was finally offering a decent discount that applied to sale items, finally grabbing myself the Cayman Studio's GeoGraft for V4 to GF3 and a couple other wishlist items there.

    ​And with that, I think I'm done with buying for awhile, unless Facegen suddenly goes on some crazy 85% bonus discount or there is some super irresistable discount on the few remaining Genesis 3 characters I still want. Daz content embargo on!

    There are currently 2 "PBR" shaders in fast grab.  I assume these are physically based and shoukd be Uray compatible but the description is lacking any reference to Studio or Iray which makes me nervous.  Can anyone tell me if these will work with Daz Iray?

    Those are texture maps, not shaders, which is why it doesn't say. Straight up PNG files.

    Well, I've decided to treat it as if today is the last day of the sale.  If it keeps going, great.  If not... I'm covered. :)  That's what the Wish List is for. :)

    The wording of it, "End of March Catchup Sale" rather than "End of March Madness Sale", makes me think we probably have another week or two left. The real "End of March Madness, Sell your other Kidney Sale" will probably be in 2 weeks on Easter Weekend, to take advantage of the longer 3 day weekend. Regardless, if its really over or not, this is the last gift card I'm buying until the next PA sale.
