I'm in this boat too, just wishlisting interesting things to wait for a big sale time. I spent a lot building up a pretty well rounded library so while lots of new and pretty things keep coming out, none of them are particularly different or needed compared to past items, so there's no rush.
The only thing I really need that I'd buy in a heartbeat on release day is a skeleton/anatomy type model for Genesis 3.
I can always wait, it will be cheaper down the line; once you've waited a period of time, then the offers on the stuff you're interested in rolls round and you get a steady stream
Not always as much fun as a new release sale, but cheaper - which is fun too. :)
I'm going to be sad if there is no mega discount on PC+ in March Madness, or if I miss that sale if it happens - because the lowest historical prices on the PC+ membership are the prices that best justify membership, and I just can't see myself justifying spending any more than that to extend my membership. This means that it is entirely possible that I may end up without PC+ membership for an extended time waiting for the price to be just right.
On the other hand, the PC+ membership makes me feel obligated to make at least one $18 total purchase a month to burn that coupon... so arguably any break saves me money and hurts the bottom line for DAZ... gotta find the silver lining in that scenario.
There was a membership offer early April last year (which was technically still part of the March Madness sale which ran basically all of Mar-Apr.) There were probably some others but that's when I added a year because it was so cheap.
There is usually a sale around New Years (I renewed mine for about about $26), but that doesn't do you much good now...

I certainly don't feel obliged to spend cash to save (yup that's an oxymoron); I buy stuff, if i can use a voucher, great, but buy something to use a voucher. Nope.
I didn't use the $18 voucher last month, and generally miss out on a couple or so during the year. As a customer, I'm sure I'm not Daz's ideal. :)
Am tempted to get N.G.S. Anagenessis 2 - Revolution, but to get good discount, i need to add two items that are in my wishlist, just two items for the 60% then maybe. I'm going to wait for a few hours, see if the urge disappears. :)
I needed exactly three things from this sale, that were on my "get soon" list, so that was an easy choice. I would have liked to see Zev0 among the featured artists, too, but ah well, another time... :) I'm still considering a couple of DO items that are 72% off this way. That also lets me use the coupon for another $6 off.
You could add 2 cheap PC+ items if the math still works out for you that way.
They have to be in the sale, I thought. Worth a try. think i have two cheap items in wishlist.

From the sale, I meant. There are some $1.99 PC+ items in the sale. 60% off is something like $0.80 for them.
I didn't test if this works anymore, but earlier in the morning OOT's Featured Hairs from Hair today sale stacked with this new Flash sale. I wanted that shaved hair for G3M, so tought I'll get couple more new hair styles for my girls too
I managed to find 25 items from my wishlist in the sale. Then managed to find a few stacking discounts from the other sales. But the stacks needed triggers, and I wasn't a big fan of the triggers, so that left me still at 60%. Which was still around $10 an item, and more than I was willing to pay, so I ended up dumping the cart.
Managed to beat my cart down to around $70, every item under $10 (barely, in some cases). Going to let it set for awhile and see if I change my mind about anything.
Edit: and then fastgrab updates with DM stuff that is actually Genesis 3/Iray compatible. Goshdarnit.
FirstBastion and Mely3D are stacking nicely for over 80% discount (with one or more trigger items from the other sales). Anyone else?

I was tempted by some of those elaborate outdoor scenes like The Neighbour's Yard or any of the Andrey Pestryakov scenes but I doubt that even the 8GB in my 1070 would be enough to render them, especially with a couple of G3 figures/clothes included.
There's also a handful of FWSA+Fisty&Darc items that are in both the mars sale and the build your own flash sale. They seem to stack, when I tested them around 1pm CST.
The Andrey stuff renders just fine on my 4gb card. Sometimes I need to turn off out-of-frame prop sets but they make that quite easy. I just did a render of dressed character+partial Terradome preset+the Andrey Stone Bridge set and turned off a couple sets of trees and flowers that weren't even in my camera line anyhow and it loaded on the card. I was using an OOT hairpiece too.
The 60% discount isn't apply ok to me, anyone more?
I haven't checked out yet, but I chose a couple of PC+ items from my wishlist that were also in the sale, and a $44 bundle. Adding my PA coupon brought the total down to $13.96. Then I added the Shaved Hair for G3M and it bumped the cost up about $7 when it dropped the $44 bundle to just over $5...

Thanks. Though in truth, it feels more like a great deal on the new release! And this will be my first purchase this month. I was really trying to resist, but... lol What can I say? Besides, if I don't use the coupon, I'll lose it. And that's not going to happen!

Okay. I see where the confusion comes in. Bear with me...
The three PC+ items you have in your cart are regularly $1.99 for PC+ members. With the current sale, they are 40% off if you buy only one item. The $1.19 price you see listed is $1.99 minus the 40%. If you put two in your cart, they will be $1 each which is 50% off the $1.99. And if you put three or more items in your cart, they will be 60% off the $1.99 or 80¢ each. (It is actually 79.6¢, which is why with multiple items in your cart, you'll see a 1¢ variation in prices.)
The discounts shown for any given item in the store, (when there isn't glitch,) will be the total of stacking discounts that apply without any qualifiers. So, for example, a Daz Original will always have a 30% discount showing when a member is logged in. If a DO is also part of a catalog for a featured artist and that catalog has a 40% discount without a purchase requirement, that DO will stack the 40% on top of the 30% for a total discount of 58%.
Unless otherwise stated, a higher discount with purchase will replace the lower discount, so in the example above, if a new release purchase increased the discount to 45%, the resulting total discount would be 61.5%, (45% on top of 30%.) The store software will probably "say" 61% but the final calculations will in fact be the 61.5%.
