complainnnt  when they told me i'd be getting holidays this year,
i thought i'd be making the cash, like for new years day,
thought i was getting a 5 day paycheck tomorrow.
nope, they give you the time. so i can take a day off my regular scheduled 4 day work week,
but i can never make extra day's cash in my paycheck.
all that research on macallen for nothing.

Morning. Gentle rain falling from a luminous grey sky tracing sweet freshness  on all our (so far) lush greenery :)

...it's been so dry here that while petting one of the cats yesterday, when he tried to put his nose up to my finger he got zapped.

...sunny but cold today.  The 14" of snow we got looks like it will stick around now until probably Monday as it will be dry with highs in the 20s and lows in the mid teens until then .

Woke up this morning to what looked like a Currier & Ives painting outside my window  with all the snow and bright sunshine.  Off to take a few pics again soon.

..top of the morning there.  Looks as if you are in for a nice "summery" day.

About ready to turn in here. Had to throw an extra blanket on as its going to drop into the teens (F) by morning.

Amazing, this modern technology thing called the Net, here I am replying to someone halfway around the world where it's morning and summer there while it's night and winter where I am.

The sun is attempting to poke through the clouds here too. The northern half of the country has a dusting of snow, with the usual consequences (hasn't reached me down here though. The thermometer claims it's 2 degrees.)

It started snowing here (Norfolk) about 2 hours ago I reckon we have about 1-2 inches too.

Here in KCMO area...looking forward to the big game. We are awaiting an ice storm...starting this afternoon but worst to come Sat and Sun morning.  Ah, sweet a reporter just called the upcoming game which is Sun the "ice bowl".  I'll be watching from home...good thing because they say they are going to get the ice off the stairs and parking lot but the seats are the responsibility of the ticket holder.  I hope they have a "there is ice in my seat cam". LOL.

I'm thinking those attending will be reduced to grabbing plastic knives and sporks to scrape off their seat...as I don't imagine they are going to let them in with ice scrappers.

So you are planning to watch from home instead of steeling some tickets?
