    I thought the sudden silence in this thread spoke volumes. After all the Christmas presents have been unwrapped and everyone is off checking out all the gifts they received...

    No kidding. With all the sales and talk of what users picked up, it's probably time to start using some of these items, LOL.

    It's funny, I bought quite a bit over the last few weeks, but my last few DS scenes have been with other products and things I have made myself, LOL.

    That could be a whole new thread. I haven't downloaded anything from Daz since the last week of October 2016. I just got a 6TB drive to handle all that plus back up what I already have.

    That Pretty3D sale ended up being good.  I certainly didn't need to spend anymore money.  But, I was glad to get several of the outfits for not too much.  I think I averaged about $5 per item, one of them being the Red Rabbit Bundle.  I like that Pretty3D almost always has the jewelry and shoes included with most outfits.

    Tops on my wishlist now are the newer dynamic clothes and I really like that new bathrobe.  And, I want the new rocks package.  I also like the look of that new goblin.  But, I'm a bit tapped out on funds.  So, I might be waiting for a bit before going on another spending spree.

    That's because the 'Shiney as Platinum' sale takes an extra 30% off all non-new non-DOs. It almost as good as having the "Loyalty Reward" back Check it out with any featured artist that is in sale.

    It says 50% off all PC+ memberships, but the quarterly still says $24.  Isn't that the regular price?  Maybe I should not look at these things anymore.  Too disappointing.

    You have to use the code on the sale page: SHINY-2017. I've got another 3 months in my cart and with the code it's $12

    Hmm....it looks like the extra 30% of for PC+ is stacking with some of the FastGrab items.....I thought FastGrab was supposed to be immune to other discounts.....

    (ed:  I see someone else already noted this.....And some I checked weren't stacking, but some still are.)

    Has anyone figured out the discounting on Pretty3D's products? I added "Hot Uniforms - School Girl for Genesis 2 Female(s)" then added "Marcoor Intel Bot - Scorpion"... and the price for the Pretty3D product shows up as $6.08 and every calculation I went through points to the discount being less...? Is there a hidden discount somewhere?

    Not throughout the sale I believe, but it does often go on sale at the same time as other DAZ Originals, although nothing is guaranteed. Some of the really crazy discounts can be during periods outside the major sales, you just have to be patient and jump on them when they come along.

    If I read this sales page correctly, "Start the new year with the new Iray!", you can expect an update to version 4.9—probably later today. and it will have support for the new Pascal-based Nvidia video cards.

    Never mind. Typed "Daz Studio 4.9 pro" in my product page search box and there it was. Downloaded, waiting for more reports before installation.

    So the new Iray 2017 is Iray 2016.3 and it will appear in our DS at some point soon for us to celebrate and it does what?

    The email and sales page didn't exactly excel in giving any actual information apart from some not so relevant links to DS release pages that didn't have the information which links to the Iray 2015.3 notes.

    I manually install also. Just go to your account product library and put 4.9 in the filter. Your Daz Studio Pro 4.9 will show up. The installer in your product library has been updated to the newest installer...4.9.3.166.

    (I don't know if we have to also install the scene builder and default resources again so went ahead and downloaded those again too.)


    Edit: I see you did that while I was typing.  I'm lazier in my search filter terms. LOL
