in fact it is simple: you choose the items in the PA on sales, and then in the top drop list check the DAZ author. Those items will have a 83%, the others daz 72%
the 3 at 94% are the today promo.
Looks like this might be the least expensive way to get the three new items at the awesome discount! :)
Has anyone used their Daz Original coupon with the sale successfully? I'm curious because my coupon isn't taking the full amount off.
I tried but it was about a dollar short so I backed off and saved the coupon for sometime when I get the full amount
Ah, that's about the same thing I got. I'll think about it. I might hold off and use it later in the month.
I managed to get the full $6 off with the monthly PA coupon. I must've had enough items for it to come off of. Would have been $48, spent $42. I always check, just in case.
I've had difficulty getting the DAZ coupon to take off the full $6 since the Thanksgiving sales... almost everything in the store that the DAZ coupon would apply to is already at some sort of discount - here is what I see happening...
I apply the coupon and an item on SALE goes to the regular NON sale price, and I get less than $6 taken off of the total order anyhow. So an item that was $9 is on sale for $6 - I apply the coupon figuring it will be free, it goes back to $9, and they take $4 off the price, so my net savings on using the coupon is a buck.
If there has been one thing frustrating about the sales, it has been the way the math works with the coupon. I haven't complained because they gave away hundreds of dollars in content and huge discounts on everything else... but it has made it difficult to find an item that I want or need where the coupon applies at full value.
The monthly "PlatClub" coupon "excludes Platinum Club items, gift cards, and memberships." But it doesn't exclude new releases! Maybe you already know that, but I think I'd been a member for at least a year before I realized it. Now, I like to use that coupon on a new release every month. This month I picked up the Hoodie Outfit for Genesis 3 Male(s) for $3.78...
ETA: It's a known problem with using the coupon with a free item in the cart. And there were a lot of freebies last month. Apparently Customer Service will credit you for the difference if the coupon doesn't apply correctly. I've not tried that. If I don't get the full $6 off my cart, I just remove the coupon and save it for another order.
That's a great strategy, L'Adair! I didn't realize that either.
It's easy to assume the coupon wouldn't work on a new release, but as it only works on DOs, I guess DAZ figures it doesn't make any difference. Besides, how often do we only buy one item? It's hard to resist temptation when there are so many great deals...
And I always use the coupons at my earliest opportunity. One month of searching for hours to find something to spend it on at the end of the month cured me of holding on to it! lol
Shopping Cart Jenga: the process of trying to get all the right items into your cart to maximize your discounts and then carefully paring down your cart from there in such a way that your discounts don't collapse....
Note: I am not talking about exploiting glitches, just, if you are like me and grab anything that looks interesting from the sale pages and then try to whittle your cart down when you realize that even if you are saving $700 on $1300 worth of purchases, you can't justify dropping $600 in one go, you need to be careful to not destroy your discounts in the process of whittling down.

Yeah, I ended up adding in another DO item and got most of it. I only lost about 20 cents so not much.
Yes, this I know. Everyone once in awhile I still accidentally put something in my cart that doesn't agree with the coupon, but usually it's the PA coupon that I've accidentally stuck a new one in there.
I only had all DO in the cart this time and no PC items so it should have worked but I think the 90% off coupons items were giving it issues since they ended up being free with the coupon applied. Adding in another cheap DO item ofset it for the most part. Only lost 20 cents so not bad. I got some good deals and some of it was on my wishlist.

Interesting. I would expect to see a full $6 off a cart without any free items. I'm glad you got it worked out to your satisfaction. I agree, 20¢ lost isn't worth quibbling over.

I thought there was an extra 30% off all weekend but that seems to have disappeared since my whole cart went up again...
I don't know why, or how long it will last, but there are a number of the $5 RDNA/DO items showing up at 70% off. Just load the main page and Sort By "Price Low-High" and scroll down. (If you display 60 items at a time, they may be on page two or three.) With "Hide items I own" unchecked, I count 22 items.
Hmm the PA's in the "Plethora of New Shapes" sale have all lost their 40% discount. As have the "Build Your Battle Bundle" PA's. :sigh:
i13's stuff isn't showing the 40% entire store or 45% with a new release for some reason.

Looks like the best deal on the Genevieve Pro bundle is with the two outfit textures. Knocks it down to $42. Not sure I'll pull the trigger on that one. We probably have a few days to decide. I really like Neive for Geneieve. She's also a qualifying product.
Looks like another secret orange banner popped up relating to the HD sale yesterday - so heads up if you're one of those strange people who doesn't go into the message section to check for personal offers several times a day just in case.
Could you provide some details around the message you are seeing? In the past there were several occasions where folks with more than nine base figures didn't see the expected discount. I'm concerned that I'm now in that situation myself as I don't see any message at all yet.
I was going to do the HD head morphs, but now I'm in love with the Genevieve Pro bundle and several of the "strong women" products. I wish I could trade the HD orange banner for a Genevieve one... Hoping they'll add a new banner in the morning! I REALLY like Genevieve and all the PA characters for her. Lately I'm liking so many of the new products, but the price point is so high now. I usually can wait for a bigger sale, but something about Genevieve makes me want to buy now, I think she's my favorite character since V7!
I can confirm that I was a regular "Orange Banner" guy for the last couple of months, and I have no orange banner and no special offer in my inbox.
So whatever was granting me "most favored consumer" status in November and December has expired in 2017, it seems.
Which is OK... those orange banners were expensive for me. :)
The conditions for it aren't listed other than thanks for supporting HD characters in 2016 - so I'm guessing you had to have bought a bunch of them then, but I have no idea how many or if the discount is the same for everyone (I have 30% off the three new release HD figures, but I'm broke~)

I got 90% on the 3 new HD sets (So 1,37$ or so per set when combined with the i13 sale) but I own all G3 HD Morphs released so far.
