I have sent in a query about the 75%, and about the lack of 60% discounts on back-catalogue items with non-Gateway PA sale new releases.
Thank you, Richard. Hopefully they can fix it soon. I know it's getting late for a lot of people and it might be too late for some.
Well, I applied my PA coupon and got all the way up to 72%, (but I had 4 older products in the cart...) I don't think the coupon is supposed to be part of the "75%" off, though...
Second complaint: I was going to pick up the Real Brows for G3F that I didn't get on the release date because I wasn't sure they were fibermesh brows. That and Instant Makeup for G3F are in my wishlist, and both showing a 30% discount. If you add them to your cart, they only get the 30% non-sale new release discount. I noticed they weren't included in the last catch up sale, either. So in my wishlist they will stay, for how long, I have no idea...
Yeah, this mess is definitely costing Daz sales. I know it's not their fault and they are doing what they can to fix it (at least I'm assuming they are, since they aren't really talking to us or giving us any feedback on all the site issues over the past week). They have to know it's effecting sales though, so chances are they are working hard to fix it. It would be nice to get feedback though. I really hope the sales team makes it up to us for this week's mess after the site is fixed. I'm still miffed about not being able to get the Girl 6 bundle for free with a new release purchase. I am hoping they will redo these sales after the site is working correctly again. Otherwise I think there will be a lot of upset people - both the customers who lost out on the good sales deals and the PAs who lost out on the sales (who will be making a lot less money due to many people not being able to purchase during the site's issues).
A rerolling out of the good sales deals many of us missed out on due to the site's issues seams to be the only way it will make it right for both the customers and the PAs.
Yes, it was very frustrating to not be able to take advantage of the free bundles when the site wasn't working most of the day. I had thought they'd make it up another day since the store was unusable for so much of the day.
Managed to get the 50% off a new item to work - bought one 'gateway' (Treadz for G3), one new release (Old Town Construction Kit - over a Gig of content for only $10 and change
) and picked up a gift-card as I was going to top-up anyway for the PC+ sale and I may as well get the 10% off.
But only had those in the cart. Problems seem to be arising with multiple stacks.
I managed to get a few items now that it finally seems to be fixed, but all these one day only sales that keep being bugged for most of the day are not ideal.

Seems .. confusing. There are so many different things going on at once on that page o.o
Lots of mention of PC+ members get an additional discount without purchase - does that mean that we don't get anything extra for buying a new release? Can't investigate just yet because everything is still 404ing.
I just worked out the percentages. In short, being PC+ allows you to nab the full discount without an additional purchase of a debut release.
edit: The only weird one is the extra 10% off Daz Originals with the purchase of a new release. That turns the 40% off to 46% off.

Of course it's their fault; something not working in a sale, it is the fault of the company holding said sale.

log into Paypal before using it via Daz; I always do as it works better.
:sigh: See, I looked at those "8 for 2.99" things and thought "nah...too old, and I'll probably never use them cos I'm too lazy to put in the hard work to convert to iray..." and then I saw what price they discounted to and now I'm rethinking it. I mean, THOSE PRICES!!!!!!!!! gah!!!!
I was talking about all the site's issues over the past few days. The site issues aren't their fault, and I'm sure they are trying to fix it. It's seriously frustrating though. Particularly since I missed out on the free (with purchase) Girl 6 bundle and now I finally decided to spend some money despite them still not making that right and NOW I can't even check out the items I have in my cart. This is getting beyond ridiculous.
Perhaps not their fault, but certainly their responsibility; even DDoS or hacking issues can be said to be their fault, perhaps unfairly, but again their responsibility.
I doubt a site of this size can do much about DDoS attacks since they tend to be targetted at high level ISPs these days, but sale issues are absolutely their responsibility. When there are issues with the sales put up a high percentage of the time during the year, obviously someone is programming or otherwise implementing something incorrectly. A few mess ups will randomly happen, but it's so common we think it's normal now. Just shrugging and telling customers to bug CS for the money back is not a good solution and loses them sales that they have no way to track. If you are putting a sale into place on your site, it is your job to make sure that the sale works. If you can't have someone watching and testing when the sales go live at midnight and think it's fine to leave it until morning, don't put them up at midnight.
Which is why I said, perhaps unfairly. Folks (customers - and others) attribute blame when there is something wrong. It is normal.
When it's to do with sales, it is completely justified, as you say.
I agree; have glitches stopped me buying? Absolutely, but I have no clue about value, and likely not all that much. From Daz's perspective, a small amount is avoidable, and too much to loose out on; generally, if the sale is a hastle to deal with, at best it goes in my wish list.
As a purchaser of at least five G3 Core Characters I get an offer to add a character to build my own bundle - shame I already own it; at that price I might have done it. I'm not even getting the bundle.

I really am curious how many people are missing out on these orange banners due to bugs and not knowing they were meant to be offered them in the first place. Such a stupid concept.
It might not be bugs. It's probably some sort of randomly generated for customers...perhaps there's another one coming over the sale duration and it'll go to different people? Like, if there's another base figure sale bit during the PC sale. I already own Eva 7 and I got it - so it obviously doesn't take into account previous buyers of her. Wish I could "pass it on" to someone else cos I obviously won't be taking them up on the offer.
Having them randomly select people as thanks for completing specific conditions (with a reward offer for something they already own) is some of the most "imaginative" marketing concepts I've ever heard of. I'm sure Daz would never be that "imaginative."
Also, I already have her too AND she's already on sale today for super cheap what are they thinking.

Whaa? You can get Eva 7 for $1.80?? How!? That would be AMAZING - the only G3 figure I have is Victoria and I would love to get more for a good price.
I have no idea. I put Absolution in cart, added Eva 7 (who I own already anyway) and it came up as 1.80 for her. No orange banner. It was like 96% off.
Makes no sense at all.
