    Whoever picks her up: does the autorfit clone work to make it possible to use her older clothing sets on G3F? Not the Poser only ones, of course, but the ones that worked in Studio?

    Is there an ideal way to buy the bundle things? Or is 'build your own bundle' just empty marketting? I want her but I'm too sleepy to work it out

    Yep, I'm rendering right now. I'm so happy - I feel like a kid on Christmas who just got exactly what they asked Santa for! heheh :D

    That's what I'm thinking too.

    She's a definite must buy for me though. Can't wait to see how she looks mixed with others.

    True. I gotta wait till next week to pick her up I think, but I always wait a day for the new releases in case there's some sort of "speshul discount coupon" that comes through the pop up banners.

    I JUST got a coupon for the dragon promotion so I'm wondering if owners of Star will get one eventually too? Not expecting it but there's always a possibility.

    i saw the dragon promotion orange banner this morning when i got up - wasn't there when i went to bed last night, and they normally take a bit to show for me, so yeah, I'm wondering that too. Although Star is a PA only release, not a Daz original, so it may not happen?

    I really hope so. I bought the Original Star not too long ago, so it would be nice if we got a discount if we already own her and bought 2.0.

    Yeah I'm not really expecting anything either way. Just going to wait a liiittle bit before buying - I currently have allll of the things in my cart and that's probably not the best idea.

    As divamakeup said, its like christmas~ the amount of stuff she comes with compared to a standard character is crazy and finally real toon hair for Genesis 3 and all the old Star stuff becomes relevant again and -hyperventilates-

    If more new Star 2.0 things start being released I will never have a wallet left again.

    Is anyone else having trouble with her eyes? When I try to use other G3F mats on her, the eyes go all wonky. Here she is when I tried applying G3F base mats to her.

     

    Super scary!

    From what I can remember - and don't quote me on this - doesn't Star 2 have two sets of eyes? an anime one and normal one? I can't quite recall, but I'm sure you had to apply teh eyes separately.....

    You'll need to change the Eye Socket material to Star's. Most G3F materials will have a lacrimal there. You can just drop the diffuse and set a white color, or apply Star2's eye socket material.

    As long as you synced the email addresses of your DAZ and RDNA account, DAZ will know about all your RDNA purchases. Most of mine have now appeared in my product library here at DAZ, including many of the freebies.

    Any disount offered would be up to the PA, but if they decided on one (like Zev0 has for the aging morphs), then DAZ have the technology to offer the discount.

    Bought her too. I love Toony characters and she fits perfectly into my needs.

    I'm wondering if thru voodoo Star 1 outfits can go to G2F now...and if a G2F version of Star 2 can be made with GenX

    Ok, thanks! I saved her eye socket as a material preset and can now apply that after switching her skin texture. ;)

    At first I thought that this was the "Star 7" we've been getting in the FBMs, but apparently there's "Anime Eye Support" for Star 7 listed among the other Iconic Females. Though, If we're getting this Star now, that probably means we're not getting Star 7 until some time later as opposed to next month.

    Either way, makes wonder if Lady Littlefox plans to bring any other characters over to Genesis 3 like Cookie & Chip. I personally would love to see some Autofit clones for them. :)

    Here's a side by side of the Original Star (left) next to Star 2.0 for G3F (right).

     

    I noticed that 2.0 is a bit "bustier" than her original counterpart, but O.S. is "hippier". 

    Autofit for older Star content onto 2.0 also doesn't work perfect - particularly on hair and shoes (it never does). I suppose the slight poke through on the shoes is probably an easy fix.
