Star 2.0 for G3F!!! whoot!!

    No, this IS Star 7. She just got changed to Star 2 (possibly because the 7 refers to DAZ iconic genesis range, and she's not a DAZ product)

    Yeah, I was thinking the name might cause confusion. They probably should have just named her Star 7. :)

    Ahhhh I love her so much! Now I get to make some cute toon characters with G3F - AWESOME!

      

    G3F with Star body dailed in full with the leg and arm lengths lessened, Star head dailed in at 37%, V7 head dialed in at 38%, and some eye, mouth, and nose tweaks with the G3F face morphs.

    WOOT! IT's and ALL STAR FRIDAY!

    Reggie and I ended up making multiple Iray material sets for Star 2.0 She has 3 different sets of Iray materials - Plastic (Kind of hard doll skin) - Vinyl (Barbie doll type) - and Doll - which is the skin you see on high end Japaneese anime dolls. (And my favorite, LOL) And there are hair shaders in there too! The skins are all properly SSS and Translucent for that Anime Doll look, however I will also say she looks great with any G3F texture on her!

    I don't often pass comments on new releases but simply amazing work to Littlefox on this one. Being able to transfer the banshee dress to g3f now thats just perfect.

    I know Lady Littlefox is probably catching her breath after this release, but would it be wrong or too early to ask for a male counterpart for Star?

    If I had a firstborn (which I don't), I just sold them down the river this morning and replaced them with Star 2.0.  Oh, if this had only fallen when I had extra spending $$$, but as it is - payday is NOT on Friday for me so... (This happened with Kenji 7 also... Always seems to be the awesome toonish releases on the week before payday).

    Still, Star 2.0 - totally worth whatever cash I could muster today.  She looks fantastic!!!!

    I've been asking for something (of this nature) back before RuntimeDNA and DAZ merged, and now I've got a friend for my new Toony DAZ dragon from yesterday....

    Meh... I need an intervention for DAZ3D.com, it's official.

    Thanks for posting this divamakeup - a good selection for both iRay and 3Delight which is nice to have both options (especially with animation generally rendering faster in 3Delight, not that I've tried an iRay animation....YET!)

    Diva -- thanks for the renders with Star partially dialed in. She looks like your preferred toony style, and it's great to see that her shape goes well with, say, Girl 7. Toons! Yeah! I need more toons!

    Aww Thank you! :D She's very cute. I recommend saving her shape as a "shaping" preset then loading that into G3F. Otherwise any extreme morphs messes with Star's eyes. Saving her as a shaping preset though gets rid of that issue.

    heart heart Star! 7/G3F is one of the figures that I've been looking forward to (I'm not totally obsessed with Lilith ya know ;) ). I hope I've got the funds for her. She looks AMAZING.  I love the steampunk outfit.   heart heart

    Redspark had been working on a male counterpart for original Star from quite some time, no idea when it will be released or if there's a G3M version though.

    The Starter Bundle is in the cart now.  :)  Not sure about what they were thinking with the Stellar Bundle, as the product mix between the two bundles is pretty wonky, with all hair in the starter and all the poses and expressions in the more expensive bundle yet only one additional clothing item.  It just doesn't feel like double the value for double the cost.

    So she's fully compatible with Genesis 3? Has anyone tried GenX to convert her to Genesis 2?

    I think Star just murdered Aiko in broad daylight. Its probably better that Aiko released before Star, because otherwise I don't think Aiko sells as well with Star around. There's not a single negative comment on Star here, while Aiko7 had quite a few detractors.

    Now I just need to figure which of these bundles or whatever to get. What/who is the upcoming premier artist sale? Do we have a hint?

    I think Aiko may be merely injured.....Keiko, on the other hand, is now on life support and fading fast.....

    if anyones wondering how i did the skin I manually applied the genesis 2 skin with genx and then used   EcVh0 Iray Skin Shader for Genesis 3 Female(s)  

    when you apply the skin shader <  click > ctrl  and choose < ignore  this converted the skin to iray s   leaving the ge2 skin texture. took a little fiddling a few times to get it right because i was getting lines around the legs.   but the results were pretty good once i figured it out.

    Oh no! Divamakeup, you're wicked! Those morphs are absolutely adorable. I had almost convinced myself I could wait to get her but now I'm sunk. Yes, Traveler, I'd love the Star HDRs.

    In the past, the PA sale ends up pretty much covering everybody at 50% off.  The 10% discount is only for the first three days of it though, and it runs the whole month rotating through the PA stores.  All I can tell you is several major stores will likely be featured in the first three days.
