Sarsa's 40% discount from the Tween Julie sale apparently stacks with the So Many Flavors discount (with one purchase). I only have time to check this one stack since I'm starting to fall asleep in bed, so perhaps others can follow up with the other sales/PAs :)

It looks like P3Design does as well.

Sarsa, Mada and P3Design aren't the only PA's with stacking discounts. Check out the post I just added to the Daily Sales Talk thread:

Thanks for the tip. I wouldn't have tried it... :)

  • Hmm, I'm feeling a bit stupid now. What good does it do to buy gift cards?

Hmm, I'm feeling a bit stupid now. What good does it do to buy gift cards?

You can then use the gift card credit to purchase new releases, thus overcoming the exclusion. And 11% off gift cards is a pretty good deal.

Buying a gift card at 11% off effectively adds that 11% to any future purchaces using the store credit.  I think the best I've seen for them is 20%, though that's rare.  11% is still a nice bonus.

Maybe buy the amount to get the dicount, then stack it later in a sale that worth it, dunno, just guessing

There are several reasons, I'm only going to address one: where you save money.

Let's say a product costs $100. That's too much. So you buy it when it goes into fastgrab. 70% off. You only pay $30.

Great. But you can go even lower. With a giftcard sale.

Let's say you buy $30 worth of giftcard now. You get 11% off. So the $30 giftcard will only cost you $26.7.

Now you can buy that $100 item in fastgrab, and you only spent $26.7, instead of $30.

  • Ah, I see, missed the part of not being applied on new releases. Does this give a stacking discount? Buying gift cards with gift cards...

You can't use store credit to buy gift cards.  Or at least, I couldn't.

Well that's what I'm after so thanks for making that clear. Buy gift card and then wait for a fastgrab, got it.

  • Do you have to spend the entire gift card in one go or can you buy an item to a lower price and still have credits on the card?

  • Buying a gift card for yourself will then transfer that amount into store credit which can be used piecemeal for as long as it lasts.

Gift cards have a specific amount when purchased.  When you redeem the card at DAZ, it is added to your Store Credit.  Then you can apply it to orders instead of paying.

You can't tell the order page to only use 'so much' of a card though.  It either uses it or not.  If it isn't enough to cover the whole order, it is deducted first.

You can only choose whether or not to use your Store Credit on an order.  If it is used, it will try to apply to the full order.  No 'use only $10 of my store credit' option.

Buy the gift card for yourself and exchange it for store credit. Then everything you buy with that store credit is effectively 11% cheaper than whatever its basket price might have been.

Customers gain a bit of "free" money to spend at DAZ. In trade, DAZ gets the money now (i.e. a cash flow bump) instead of waiting for the customers to spend bit by bit as suitable products appear.

  • Great, thanks for the help

It's usual to get two of those emails, and only one of the codes will be valid. I think its intended as one for the sender and one for the recipient.

The 11% discount is not reflecting in items already in my cart. They are still showing older prices before this offer. Anyone else facing this issue?
