It's amazing how sensitive modern cameras are to low light.  I remember many decades ago (long before digital cameras, back in the "dark" ages when we still used film), when National Geographic or Scientific American or one of those respectable magazines published an amazing photo taken by just one candle and made a big deal of it.  I think it was the lens, it was huge and bragged of an "f" stop setting of something under 1.0  Now, phones can take better pictures in lower light. surprise

    ensaru's space birds?

There seem to be missing a promo - the one that shows the backside of the suit...

guess it'll be a surprise after i install it  lol

It was meant as a hint to certain vendors... cheeky

old v4 stuff, prolly no chance of promos.

in the 4bucks sale, cant hesitate too long

Well there are 11 promos, but none of the backside, and probably never been one. That's an error vendors make quite often.

Yes, and it makes you wonder about the quality.  What does the back look like?  Is there something wrong with it?  Does it flow nicely?  A back view should always be included.

We used to have lots of them here half a century ago.  But now that most everybody keeps their ditches and hillsides free of weeds they are a rare sight.

I also lament the loss of the Bluebirds in NY, the huge flocks of pelicans crusing in formation along the Florida shores, and the luminescent bacteria in the Florida ocean waves.  Just the other day I happened to see a Goldfinch bird and realized that I hadn't seen one in 50 years.  Nor have I seen a Monarch butterfly in decades.  Kids these days have no idea.

When Mother Nature finally sloughs us off her property she can get back to business.

About the only thing gone that long here in southeast Tennessee are swamp rabbits aka canecutters. They lived along the creek behind my house. Basically a cottontail with shorter ears and grew up to 21 in. long. Big old hares. laugh

Plenty of big old hares here.  They're growing out of my ears! sad

Edited to add: Oops, just realized that I said "seagulls" when I meant "pelicans".  I miss the huge flocks (100 or more) cruising in formation up and down the Florida coast.  Now you're lucky to see three in a row. sad

I just saw a lot of fireflies a few weeks ago when we were at a family reunion/BBQ at my nephew's house up in Stowe, MA.  I loved it.  there were so many.  Last time I saw any around here was several years ago.  They were across the street around the pond.  I wish they'd come back.

Also saw Monarch butterflies up in New Hampshire a few years ago when we were on vacation, in front of the Jackson Bridge.

...monarchs, yeah haven't seen one in years here either. Mostly the small white cabbage butterflies and some tiger swallowtails. AS I understand butterfly populations in general are falling thanks to pesticides and in the case of monarchs, loss of habitat (here in the states due to decimation of milkweed with herbicides), particularly where they winter in Mexico (due to illegal logging).  Several years ago there was a die off of over 300 million in their winter habitat due to both a cold snap and most of the trees that surrounded and protected their refuge from cold winds being cut down.
