..ugh, new strain of pollen in the air. Eyes have been watering seriously for the past couple days. Hate taking antihistamines because of the side effects either they make me feel like I had a couple four shot Depth Charges (4 shots of espresso in coffee), or I that want to go to bed.

Protip: freeze the bar before coating in batter and frying. That way, it doesn't go too gooey. Yeah, I've made it -- made it out of Snickers too, and couple of local chocolate bars.

I love the way they cite it as a link between obesity and "high fat diets" - when it's 99% carbohydrate/sugar! (correct number may vary) and only a small amount of fat from the frying (okay, maybe a little bit of cocoa butter too)

Those are very similar to ones I used to use for wedding photo albums.  Only they were called screw posts.  The female part didn't have a screw slot, only the male parts did.  And there were extension posts, too.  They were solid, had female thread at one end and male thread at the other end.  They came in different lengths.

They were (are) called screw posts.  They are for Post-Bound photo albums.  This type of album is still made.

    https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Postbound-Leather-Family-Treasures/dp/B0014E6ZH8/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1468982795&sr=8-6&keywords=12+x+12+post+bound+scrapbook

And these are the post extensions:

    https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Extra-Variety-Extension-albums/dp/B00030FDDQ/ref=pd_sim_201_5?ie=UTF8&dpID=517n2mCxZEL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=QXM7EW3QZX76JC9MKXS7

    https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Extra-Extension-Albums-6-Posts/dp/B00030FB7O/ref=pd_sim_201_6?ie=UTF8&dpID=51t2simAgjL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=QXM7EW3QZX76JC9MKXS7

I never saw them called anything but screw posts.  I used to use products from Albums Inc., but it seems they've gone out of business.  Their website now redircts to Tap, another photo supply company.  I don't know if they still sell the post-bound style albums anymore, though.  It doesn't look like it.

Here is a YouTube video of assembling a post-bound album.  Amazing what you can find on the interwebs, eh?  laugh

The wedding albums I sold were better-made than these, but the idea is the same.
