I think I can safely say that we're all glad you didn't end up as fish food!

I've spent very little on my 2003 Toyota Camry XLE over the past ten years. Brake job twice I think, once calipers replaced because I let it go too long. One exhasut part. Oil and filter changes. One battery way back. Bought it brand new in 2003, it was a leftover in September. I love my Toyota!

I have an iffy knee, so I don't do anything steeper than a small hill. Owww, your poor knee!!
My Walmart stuff is out for delivery! Food, medical supplies, and new underwear (lol)! I should be good to go for a while.
Trying a new Chinese place for lunch.. we'll see if it does sugary sauces as well, if so, I go back to chicken wings from Pizza Hut.
Back to reading code, drawing diagrams, and planning a career change...!

I decided that sometimes the view is worth the trip and I just ignore it or live with it. Usually, if we do a hike, we'll just sit around in the resort or just drive around the next day, nothing that involves walking much. I miss our hikes, saw some really nice scenery, things that most don't see...or at least not from those angles and perspectives. Took some nice photos with my Hasselblad. Maybe if I can afford it this year I'll pick up some new hiking boots and give one trail a go each week we go up there (New Hampshire). I didn't mention, but Killington is in Vermont, actually. Since my fund became so limited, we usually just stay in our timeshare unit at Attitash Mtn. Village in New Hampshire every year. Costs nothing to stay in our own unit (asside from annual maintenance dues).

Next up: replacing my old pants and shirs with newer, better ones,. These jeans are dead, I had to cut the left leg open from the knee down to fit the cast into the pants leg.

Yeah, there are a lot of really nice places in Oregon that are inaccessible without a car. "Running Dog" axed a lot of service in the region years ago, about the only decent service left is now between here and Seattle (mostly on their affiliate Bolt Bus). Used to be able to go to the Oregon coast as a day trip, but no longer. Now have to spend 120$ - 150$ for two nights in a motel just to get one day at the beach since the only bus service available is scheduled to bring people from there to Portland so they can connect to planes and trains. All my kites (about two dozen or so) have pretty much been sitting in storage for years, I really miss flying them, good way to relax and enjoy a nice day at the coast.
,...well still warm but not as much so as the last couple days. From Friday on. cooler and we with the worst day of course on Sunday when I have to go some where like I mentioned earlier

...well went for a walk. Nice an sunny out with just a few puffy high clouds. Stopped at the market to so some shopping and about twenty minutes later when I stepped out all the blue sky was replaced my ominous heavy dark clouds. Checked the weather and there is a thunderstorm warning in effect. Made it home before any water started falling from the sky. So far no rain yet but the bad part, the humidity shot way up and it seems more oppressive today than it did yesterday even though it's now 15º cooler at the airport than yesterday at this time (25º less than it was in my neighbourhood).
Probably not up there!
Dana
Yeah
