Non-complaint:  Yea, my secondary computer is working again.  Despite having much of my system on UPS and surge protection, a couple of weeks ago I had an apparent power surge or ground-loop, or some power issue because I blew out one of my monitors, fried the component video output of my DVR, and a few days later I discovered that my secondary computer (rarely turned on, but happened to be on that day) had fried its power supply sad.  I was worried that I might also have fried the motherboard or other components but when the new power supply arrived today everything seems to be working.  Yea! smiley

Wow.  That's a lot of fried computer.  You may want to check the cholesterol level there. :-)

    Oh, glad all is well.

What brand is the UPS?  APC has an equipment guarantee with theirs...up to $25,000.

    Dana

APC, I aways buy APC.   I guess I could put in a claim with APC but how do I explain and/or prove my issue in such a convoluted system?  seems like more trouble than it's worth.  So I lost one of 5 monitors.  So I lost the ability to watch TV without turning my head when working at the computer.  I've already started reconfiguring my system to achieve a new working environment at moderate cost.

Monitors are not cheap.  Now, if you had way too much connected, as far as power draws, maybe it would invalidate it.  But it wouldn't hurt to try to get something out of it, if the UPS failed.

....yeah, the clothing is last thing any self respecting runner would wear to a Saturday Night Firefight.  Even a spellslinger knows you have to "armour up" to survive.

    OK, sorry.  Bad joke. :-)

General complaint:  I have rendered an image a dozen times, and each render shows a problem area I overlooked.  Sigh.

Don't nobody like me tonight.  Even my computer. ;-)

Morning all. The sun is out, the sky is blue . . . smiley

Saw it last night. Enjoyed it, but all the backstories started getting a bit tedious after a while. Still, way better than Batman v Superman.

Oh, yes, please...twist the knife. :-)  Let's do that, by all means.

I swear...I have rendered that image 30 times!  Last time it was her eyes.  Too dark.

Well, back to the grindstone.  :-)
