    Yes. And the autopsy reveals something entirely different than 80% off the related  items for buying a today's new release.     Well the 80% off we were supposed to get from yesterdays email showed up in today's sale instead. The only problem is that instead  of applying on some really great related items that were related items in yesterdays sale it now applies to some old RDNA items that came accross at $4 or lower and to a bunch of old V4 and M4 items that seem to keep going on deep discount. So, since I got the ones I already wanted it once again will be a no sale day for me.

    Oh yeh, I do really like the antibellum mansion but with only 30% off and no other incentives I'm just putting it in my wishlist and waiting for a better sale. And, anyway, after yesterday I'm kind of still put off from buying.

    The Store is all messed up for me; DOs don't show any PC discount.  I double checked to see if I was logged in, and they don't even show up right in my Wishlist; in fact, PC items show up full price..

    It's been that way for a long time - it was a special character that DAZ was giving as a present/reward or something, Hence the huge price so no-one would buy it.

    Oh, ok ...well that's weird. You'd think that they would lower the price back to a reasonable amount so that those of us who missed out on them giving her away would actually have a chance of getting her. :( It's so mean to have a character that expensive in the shop basically saying "nah nah a boo boo, you can NEVER get me". Having to pay for a character that others got for free is kind of unfun, but at least you have the OPTION of getting that character that everyone else got. But instead putting it behind a $350.00 price tag so that you can never get it - that's just ...weird.

    Well without knowing the exact conditions for getting the character it's hard to say it's unfair - I thought it was a contest or something but maybe it was just being a member or maybe it was counting moonbeams who knows.

    It is weird that she stays in the store at that price considering they've demonstrated the ability to vault items they don't want sold, but I guess it's just left there for the sake of top shelf pricing?

    It is a special item we give to customers at certain times-- their anniversary with DAZ, their birthday, or something like that... Marketing planned all of that. To do that, it must be live in the store, but we don't want people buying it, so set the price very high. So when one of these events occur for you, you will get a notice to get the item for free. I apologize for any confusion. Thank you for your patience.

    They should price her at something really outrageous, then. Give her a pricetag that only a 1%er would pay. 

    Like a gold and diamond encrusted cell phone that will be obsolete in 18 months but costs $180,000. :) 

    I mean, it is a nice idea... 

    My birthday is March 9th, by the way. Shortly thereafter will be my 1 year anniversay downloading DAZ. 

    Just... putting that out there.

    Yup, picked up a gift card in december - good deal; not spent any of it yet; agree the offers are uninspiring.

    Then again, I've never been a fan of buy shed-loads of stuff I dont want to something I want cheaper; my Maths isn't that bad.  :)

    Hmmm Well I guess they don't do it anymore? I didn't get it for my birthday. Maybe they still do it for the anniversary of joining Daz? I hope so! Mine's coming up in March, that would be a nice gift. :)

    DAZ can only give someone something on their birthday if they know when that is, but I can not find where you set up your birth date in the account settings.

    You really think they give it for birthdays but don't tell anyone so they'll know to supply their birthday date? That doesn't seem logical.

    So now that yesterday's discounts are fixed, I'm looking at that 80% off sale. Seems like there are some great deals in the RDNA stuff, but a lot of the M4/V4 items are way jacked up on price. Not as exciting there, on some really old items that I know I've seen for a lot less in the past few months. Stuff that was under $1 is about $4-$5 in this sale. I think I'll wait for March Madness on those. I know I got some in this category for around .40 each last March.

    Yay! More Pisces is always good. Mine is 10th of March. :)

    (Oh, and since I'm revealing my birthday anyway, this has been eating on me since Iray came out. Does everybody have their standard Sun-Sky Iray settings set on 10th of March? Or does everybody get their birthday?)

    I don't see anywhere to enter your birth date anymore; but I'm pretty sure I did include my birthday a long time ago.

    Anyway there is no way of knowing what triggers the gift. It might not be your birthday.
