Oh, I know why. I didn't go back far enough to escape the new tags in the shop but when I was on the horror page I saw the 45% so I thought it was from that. My bad.
I'm not interested in the Horror genre. I have Reality 4, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to work right, and gave up on it long before Iray was packaged with DS. The extra discounts on DO and PC+ are nice... but not enough to make me buy anything, yet. Thank you, DAZ. No, really. Thank you. I've got store credit I bought specifically to get Kimo 7 and Zev0's Fit Control for G3M, etc. As there isn't anything I want in today's sales, I've got a slightly better chance of still having enough credit when those two items are released! lol

Just noting that in today's military sale, it's considerably cheaper to pick up the bundle parts individually, plus you gain on the free DO's offer as it counts as three new purchases instead of one.
While I am 0% interested in the war obsession, it's really cool to see some good, practical outfits - and for both sexes! Though how the females are meant to fight effectively without camo bikinis and stilettos, I have no idea

I don't have a need for the military outfits myself, but I've seen a lot of people asking for them in the forums. I expect they are pretty happy about now.
I appreciate that the uniform for the gals is every bit as realistic and functional as the uniform for the guys. And just as importantly, they support both G2 and G3 generations! I've wishlisted the bundle in case things change and I need uniforms after all. I don't know that I'll take full advantage of this sale, but I'm definitely getting the Tactical Pants. What a wonderfully versatile piece of clothing. Hopefully it will auto-fit well to G3F.

If you Take 3 Items from the 2013 Bracket you get around 75,5% Rebate on DOs (Pro Bundles for instance) if you are a PC+ Member.
For the 2014 Bracket it is around 72%
#Update: Calculated wrongly it is 75,5 not 85,5
They stack up very nicely. 3 Pro Bundles is a bit out of my buying league right now but a very good chance for those that need them.
Not to mention those that need the Body Morphs (and if you don't have them you do need them v.v)
The 3D Universe Stuff in the 2013 Bracket has a 81% rebate...
Look at my hair full version is also 81% off if you buy 3 or more items, ie less than 10 dollars, which is a good deal if you do not already have it.
These seem to have changed to just 65% off with 3 items; but still a good buy. For example LAMH is $17.48 with 3 items in the cart.

Three days is typical, but they might last the weekend. I wouldn't count on it though.
Seems like they've kind of limited themselves because they are only offering the 60% to those who buy a "new" item. I imagine there are a lot of people who will buy new items, but there are also a lot of us who just won't find any New releases that we need. I didn't see any discount at all if you don't buy a new item, I thought there would be something, if it is it's not showing for me. I could see 60% off when u buy a new item, and some kind of smaller % off if you don't buy a new item. Not complaining, just saying. =)
If you're a PC member, a new PC release counts as a 'new release' for this, not just full price new releases.

some of these sales lately are like going to a garage sale at your crazy aunt's house. they're so bossy they seem demented...

Oh. That's a pretty short summer. :) Does the "Summer sale" imply that we will see sales like this throughout the summer?
Summer's over; it's late autumn here~ It's raining so much D: Sydney is going to drown. Personally I don't know if I'm a fan of scattered summer sales vs an actual month or two event - sometimes the best deals do come from these little ones stacking so it's hard to say. Today's new look sale is interesting but a bit awkward?
I'm currently battling between waiting to see if the new girl is released on Tuesday and who it is vs just spending next pay on more Cookie items before they go off sale D:
OMG, too many sales at one time!!! It takes so much time to go through each category and there are so many things I want, but the sales need to spread out! Sales of such large categories as ALL PC and ALL RDNA and ALL add-ons should be spread out over a period of time. It just becomes overwhelming. I will buy less than I would have if the sales were spread out because I just don't have the time! Or the sales may end while I'm still browsing with a ton of stuff in my cart, then I just delete everything. I wish it was clear exactly when the sales ended. At other stores I will check out quickly before the deadline, but here with no deadline, the sale ends and after hours of putting products in my cart, I have to delete it all. Very frustrating. Great sales though, and I do appreciate them, but please at least give a deadline when they will be over...
LOL... Reminds me of the Manly May sale... Apparently May only lasted three days, too.
