I'm not sure if this is a part of a sale or if his stuff is just really inexpensive but it looks like a lot of Fred Winkler's characters are 58% off.

He also has 19 different characters that are $5 and under (73%-89% off) for PC+ members.

He and Sabby are featured artists in the 'October Already' sale.  In addition to that 40% off a lot of his items are Daz Originals there is also the additional 30% off for PC+ members to give a total 58% discount.

Fred Winkler is a Featured Artist in the "October Already?" promo. 40% off, no purchase necessary, 45% off with purchase. If you're a PC+ member, Daz Originals have the extra 30%, which is where the 58% comes from.

I'm glad you mentioned it, though, as that promo will probably be gone tomorrow. The other featured artists for that sale are: Sedor, Fisty & Darc, Sabby, Forbidden Whispers, David Brinnen, and E-Arkham. Sedor and Sabby are also featured in the Tween Julie release promo, so buying an item from the "October Already?" promo should stack discounts...

I put some items in my cart, (one promo new release, one Sabby DO, one Sabby non-DO, and one Sedor non-DO,) and the discounts don't look right. According to my math, it should be 77% for DOs (30% + 40% + 45%), and 67% (40% + 45%) for everything else. But I'm seeing 65% and 51%, respectively. 51% is what you see on a new release DO if you're a PC+ member: (30% and 30% stacking.) If any one buys something from this promo and doesn't see correct discounts, be sure and put in a support ticket.

Yeah, I was trying to get some stacking to happen but the prices didn't seam to be coming out right - I'll have to do more experementing to see if I can figure it out.

I believe it's 40% with no additional purchase OR 45% with an "October Already" release purchase.

    Yes.

However, Sedor and Sabby are also featured in the Tween Julie 7 release, with 40% off without purchase. I know discounts without a purchase requirement don't stack when the PA is featured in multiple promos. But when there is one discount without purchase in one promo, and another discount with purchase in a second or subsequent promo, the discounts have been stacking. Or at least, that has been the case as recently as last week.

By the way, I'd like to say "Thank you," again, for the great FF extension...

Luckly for me I'm rendering a scene of 300 or less static frames and it keeps me from buying more but dunno if it will be enuf to endure untill september :( i see the detail in the morphs in this sale and I'm more encouraged into swap to g3, g3 stuff will be included in pc sales in ur experience? like bundles or alike?

In my limited experience with the PA sale, I've seen really great deals on new releases. I started with DAZ in the middle of a PA sale and had no clue what I was seeing. Lots of weekly punch cards, which seem to have gone away after much complaining with last year's PA sale. Anyway, great discounts on new products, good discounts on PA catalogs, (not all at once most of the time,) so you should see a lot of G3 stuff on sale.

The PC+ anniversary sale will follow in October, and tends to feature a lot of PC+ items. Members recieve a big bundle of older products for free, and a number of smaller bundles at either $2.99 or $9.99, (those were the prices last year and the year before.) Membership is discounted, too, if I remember correctly. And I think there were bigger discounts on new releases, but I could be mixing memories. There have been a lot of G3 products released as PC+ items over the last year, so I'd expect to see some of those on sale as well.

But, and here comes the caveat, DAZ likes to do every sale differently, so past sale specifics are no indicator of what will actually happen in the upcoming sales. The only thing I can say for certain is I will spend more money than I intend to, and still add a ton of things to my Wishlist!

Buy 12 get 80% off Genesis or Toon items today ... 12 has to be the biggest buy x I've ever seen.

I currently have 13 from each sale in my cart. Don't know if I'll go through with it, but the total for all 26 items is less than the regular price of the most expensive item in my cart, the Little Ones (Mega Bundle) for Genesis 3. I probably would never have bought Wolf Boy, Frog Boy or Turtle Boy, even at the $2.99 PC+ price. But for 60¢ each, and 80% off the Little Ones bundle, I think I can find a use for them. I actually have five Toon items in my cart for 60¢...

And I have a couple of days to think about it, before I have to decide. I like that.

Yeah, if you're a PC+ member with the toon sale you can bulk up your cart to 12 with PC+ items at 60 cents. Even if you don't want them, that effectively brings the discount on the big ticket items like the Little ones bundle to 72% off, or the Keiko 6 mega bundle to 82% off (including PC+ discount). About equivalent to a fast grab.

12 items is an awful lot, without a huge choice. Can't see it working for me with the genesis sale.

I think I might be able to make it work okay for the Genesis sale to round out all of the morph packs and things I don't have, but I've already bought most of the higher price things you really want, and others from my wishlist aren't in the actual sale (single toon characters without their bundle items, etc.) so I'm not really sure. Will have to wait and see once I actually get paid~

If it had included Genesis clothing, then I would have easily made up 12 items. But characters....I can't even make 6 LOL

There are a bunch of character+clothing bundles I want (esp in toons) but only the character bits are in the sale ... so I could buy them now but then I'd likely never buy the extra bits. I don't know why I even have the Keiko Mega Manga bundle still wishlisted because I own like half the parts of it from individual sales like this already >.>

I wish we could mix these two sales. I can easily find 6 items from each sale that are within my budget and that I really want - but finding 12 things in my budget that I want, for just one of the sales, that's a bit harder. I'd love to be able to combine these two to make the 12 items needed for the 80% off.

There aren't  poses for the toons, not so eager naw to buy them hehehehe makes the life easier, and was told the new star is about to come heheheheh

  • Oof. Even at 70% off the Mec4d shaders are still over $10.  Still, getting more than that is unlikely, so I'm probably getting it anyways.  I've gotten good use out of volume 2, so I look forward to volumes 1 and 3.

I finally decided to forego the Genesis stuff. Nearly $100 right now is just too much to justify. The Toons stuff is under $50. And I'm waffling on that. (But I really do want the Little Ones bundle.) The sad thing is, I could justify spending more if the two offers combined. I've got five PC+ items in the cart at 60¢ each that I'd gladly replace with items from the Genesis sale that would cost at least $4, if only we could mix and match from the sales.

Same here. Sad that the Hitomi stuff is spread cross both sales. There are really 24 items I want from both sales...just not cash for more than zero. ;) /me will see what tomorrow brings.

Had 14 items in my G1 cart, $55.00. I said meh, I really don't need any of this, and dumped the cart.

I did similar. It's all been on sale before at one time or another - if I'd had any real need for it then I'd have bought it long ago.

I got to around $40 that would round out basically all the remaining Genesis morphs etc I don't have - the only issue is if I buy some of those now (growing up etc) then I won't be able to buy the g1+2 bundle versions when they go on sale... and wow Genesis stuff sure was split across a lot of products instead of how bundled many of them are today. So I'm waffling around too waiting to see if the last day of the sale brings any interesting changes.

+1 (and then some. Love her shaders!)
