The issue has, I think, been found but fixing it isn't instant.

awesome. thanks. it seems strange to me that this store can break as it does. I haven't designed any web pages for quite a long time, but uptime was always a huge thing.

And now we have an extra promo for Quick Grab. Is this one hand not knowing what the other is doing or an attempt at damage control? No way to tell because nobody talks to us. Very annoying by now for sure, and this way, it takes me 2 minutes to go through the shop and leave again.

Extra 40% Up to 2 with any highway new release. It's a stingy offer, imo.

it wouldn't be too bad if the QG actually changed over to something new.

...as the only interesting item in today's new releases is the Liberty 570 Semi Bundle, I'd be hard pressed to find enough interesting items in the QG (even if it did finally update) for the savings to offset the initial cost.

I agree with Turquiox on the deal,

I thought it was interesting until I actually took a close look at it, but it's price tag seems way out of line for what's being delivered, especially when compared to similar Big Rig models.

Agree. Another (even better than the others) older character from @feng. Much kudos smiley

Well, Quick Grab finally updated. Now if we could please get the Outlet Store prices to also update.

Oh joyous day!  I have to admit I didn't believe my QG wish could come true on a Friday afternoon. I now have my first DAZ cart in a few days.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 8,240

the Outlet prices that are high will discount in cart. For instance Xi transport show $13 andits $0.99 in cart. Unfortunately onle 1 item is in my need category from QG, and that's AM Rabbit. I was hoping that would show up as I bought add-on kits 3 and 4 when the QG renewed 3 weeks ago. So now, will is update on Monday or will we wait? Yeah, I'm always questioning and wondering laugh

All prices showing correct for me $0.99 or $1.99. Shame there's nothing I want or need.

Funny to first put the rabbit addons up, and then the rabbit itself later.  I've seen this with several other products, it would make more sense to put up the main product first.

They've been doing that for years (those I've been here) in other offers like biweekly freebies or Build Your Own Bundle in the June Daz+ sale. Pretty much anything that would change over at some point. I considered it would be the case with the rabbits, but since that practice annoys me so much, I decided not to get the addons (by the way, addon #2 was in QG some weeks before 3 and 4). There's always another sale.

...pretty much taking that approach this month to take a breather.  Library drive getting close to full which necessitates finally breaking out the spare 4TB I had just for such an occasion,

I've got nine extra hard dirves in the current set up for my primary rendering computer, mostly extrenals, but the biggst individual one at the moment is a 14TB, with the majority being 6 or 8TBs.  Partially because 1.) putting everything on one massive harddirve seems like putting all your eggs in one nest to me,  and the current "reasonably priced" 20TBs weren't well tested back the last time I bought hard drives, and 2) the last time I shopped for hard drives was before the prices literally doubled and I bought a couple of extras at insane prices on Amazon Prime Day for (prepare to cry now surprise ) 6TB externals for $109, 8tb externals for $129, and 12TB externals for $175, plus 2 14TB internals at New Egg for $189 each.  All brand new, all major brands, no refurbished or repacks.  I look at the price of drives now and can only wonder what the prices are going to be like by the time I use the last of those back ups... sigh...

Well, it seems that the fix to the QG might have been a one-off thing, because it didn't refresh at UTC midnight as it has been in the past few months. I guess there's hope for a Daz midnight (and then Daz midday refresh).

i was wondering if it would change at all this week. Its only been active a couple days.

I would be surprised if it changes on what has been the schedule, since they only just got it working again.

Since the beginning, Quick Grab always changed on Monday midnight (the only exception was when they changed Daz midnight to UTC midnight, making it Sunday evening for the US). If they got it working again as you say, wouldn't that imply it, well, working again and changing on time? ;)

    no change

  • edited August 10

Frank posted in Reporting thread that it was being fixed. I just checked and there's a new selection. Prices are correct in the cart, including dropdown, but not on the page.

How many posts will there be about how the selection should have been left up for a full week?

None from me angel it will be better if Daz staff can get it fixed and running smoothly again.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 8,240

well, your mileage may vary, but unfortunately, nothing in the new QG for me. I could maybe grab Ivar 9 if needed to load the cart for a token or something. I'm surprised in turned over at all though.
