Something broken with the wishlist. I have only 6 items on mine, but it only shows 4 even if I uncheck "hide Items I Own".

Did you maybe select the DUF file format filter? I've noticed that some DS items don't have that tag currently, and so won't show if the filter has been selected.

Maybe? I'm not sure. Were would I find that?

Edit: Yeah that was the problem. But that's awful stupid that they wouldn't have tagged all DS compatable items as "duf". Since it's the main/default file format for, you know, the program that they want us to use.

It seems to use the format filter saved as default on the store pages.
If you open the main store page and check the filter, is there a format selected?

A new “poser” filter seems to be available now, so my guess is that the tagging is currently in progress.

The fact that it is missing on some DS products was also reported to Daz.

I quite disagree with @richardandtracy . Product library OS flat broken. 40 items, no way to see more. Repeat after me. Items per page: All. Also it's odd to have a quick filter for wishlists on stuff we already bought, unless that's to fix the problem where stuff we bought is still on the wishlist. And finally, need way to filter by most recent purchase, oldest purchase, sort by order number,

??? You've posted this several times and... I guess I'm not seeing what you're describing.   Yes, there's a limit of 40 items per page, but that's the same restriction that the product library has always had. The only real changes from the way the Product Library has always worked that I can see are: 1) moving the list of products from where it was on the bottom of the left sidebar to the "list" view section, which makes long product names a bit easier to read, and alternated with the top toggle with the "Gid" (thumbnail mode, 2) you can now selct the viewing order of your products by purchase date, sku number or alphabetical order while in list view and the option selected will carry over to grid view until you reset, and 3) moving the postion of the page selector/indicator from beneath the sidebar to centered beneath the list or grid views,  It would be nice if there was a provision to access something other than the next several pages in either direction by typing in a page number, and, interestingly, when I first accessed this last night the selector had a Page # of # box but that has since disappeared. Are you seeing something different? from what I just described?

@cybersox oh. Ok. That's good. I see now. No page selector though. And really, I've always wanted to have the whole list of my purchased items on the same page in one long scroll. Seems like now would be the time to add that.

FYI, I got with Leana this morning since she's been everywhere answering questions; thank you for that, and between her and us mods, we came up with a list of things to submit to Daz that everyone would like to see or possible changes that could be made. Just wanted to let you know we are passing info on.

Most of what I see on the new site looks good.  My main complaint would be that I think the new product icons are way too tall.  On my 15" notebook I used to get two complete rows of products on the main store page, now I only get one.  That cuts the products I can see without scrolling in half.  All that info at the bottom of the icons isn't really necessary and there's lots of empty space.  The "You save $X.XX" is the biggest waste.  I can see the crossed out full price, and the actual price, and the percent off.  I get it.  Anything you can do to get more rows on my screen helps with shoping a lot.

    Other thoughts...

I miss the button to "show only Daz+" items.

I REALLY, REALLY miss the button to "show only purchased."  I think this was part of the dazdeals plugin but I use that button every time I buy something.  I go to a PA's page to see what I already own to evaluate how good they are at modelmaking.  It's really the only way to remember most of the PA's since there are so many.  It's the final decision before I buy.  The plugin will probably bring this back but I'd love to see this native on the website.

The ad for the game stuff on the left is distracting.  I wish I could set a default for it to stay closed.

    Product Library

Would like to see more products per page in the Product Library.  If that's a problem with all the pictures loading then maybe you could extend the list view page.  A few hundred per page would be nice.

Would like to see more products across in the Product Library grid view so I can see more items on my screen.  I can see 8 across on the main page of the store.  Product Library has only 6 across in grid view.

I noticed DAZ Studio 6 doesn't have any download links in my Library details.  DAZ Studio 4.x still has the links.

    I hope this is helpful...

If you want to select a specific page, you can still just go up to the top of your browser and where it reads something like this https/www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#p=4&filtered=1 and replace the spot where I'm currently showing the red 4 with the number of page you want to go to, just like you could with the old Product Library..

"Only show owned" option is lost with the new search system, plz bring it back.

If I think about buying a product, I want to compare it to those I already have. I don't need to compare it to the hundreds of items that are in the shop, only to those 30-100+ I have.

Merged post, as it was not a situation where a sale isn't working.

The product library is limited to 40 only. It is chronologically arranged though from newest purchase; but there is no way to continue on the next set of 40 and up to the very first purchased item.

is a caching issue and changing to list and back can fix it

and deleting cookies if still a problem

    (I loathe doing that)

you then get page selection at the bottom

Does the "Go To Page" control work for anyone? It just erases any number I put in, or try to scroll up with the little arrows.

Nice to have: Filters to hide file types or any other selction. I imagine the Game Ready stuff is here to stay, or at least will be the darling of the company for a while, but I have zero interest in any of it.

Separate scroll bar for Artists. "Show More" opens up the ridiculously long list of all artists who have a product in the store.

And it hasn't been said enough: Bring back the  Daz+ filter.

"only show owned" was not a standard filter, it was part of Daz Deals add-on.

For the record, the latest version of the extra filters bookmarklet has an "only owned" option which works with the new site: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/742841/extra-shop-filters-bookmarklet/p2#Comment_9314116

+100!    Yes- a sort by percent off is something I've been wanting desperately for so long to make it faster to shop through large sale/deal categories!

To the website developers, while you are building the perfect website, please ADD sorting by percentage discount to the main store page with an ability to filter out the current Outlet Store and Quick Grab items.

I know there are add-ons to do this, but I have confidence in you, I know you can do it. You just have to try. smiley

The Product Library (PL) can filter by selected base figure. However, some base figures whose accessories/morphs/clothes/props would be useful to isolate in the PL are missing, namely:

    1. DAZ Big Cat
    2. DAZ Horse 2 (tack, morphs, armour/clothing & vehicles)
    3. DAZ Horse 3 (tack, morphs, armour/clothing & vehicles - though I can remember almost nothing for this base figure)
    4. DAZ Dragon 3
    5. DAZ Dog 8
    6. DAZ Cat 8 (oops, it's the cat itself that's missing.. ;) )

    Just a thought,

    Regards,

    Richard

On today's bundle release: https://www.daz3d.com/polish-food-truck-park-bundle ; when you are on the bundle item's page, the three thumbnails in the description for the individual products do not show the wishlist heart or the new bottom yellow stripe saying  "in wishlist" nor do they show the old yellow heart icon.   This is annoying since when I look at the bundle, I want to see if I have wishlisted any or all of the items in the bundle. The old store pages did this (and also greyed out and stated if you already owned the individual items). Oddly enough, on the shopping page, the items in the bundle DO SHOW the yellow wishlisted banner at thumbnail bottom after I WLd them, but still do not show the WL banner when viewing the thumbnails of included items on the BUNDLE's product page.

Many Daz Originals bundles are not tagged as DUF, making the show DUF only option partially useless.

  • 1. I am still having the 40 items only and no arrows or numbers to navigate to other pages in Product Library. It happens in my Lenovo Nook tablet's Chrome browser. The tablet's Duck Duck Go browser does show page numbers for navigation at the bottom, like the previous Product Library.

    2. Store pages load much slower now. It's most noticeable with main store page and the daily sales page but also happens to selection pages (e.g., Outlet, Featured Artist), especially if they have many items.

TBH, I think you should revert to the old page.

I like the new Filter but I wish it remembered which sections I had collapsed. A lot of people with prior comments here would be satisfied with a remembered collapsible File Formats section after DUF is selected. The "ad" for Game Ready in the filter is a little obnoxious considering the useful filter controls are then pushed down vertically out of view.

Since some DUF products aren't tagged, maybe that has to wait. If the filter doesn't show products we would buy, that's not a good filter.

I love the new Wishlist indicators. That visibility is extremely helpful. The filter to show Only Wishlisted that was added weeks ago has been great, but when searching, it's more useful to look at an unfiltered view.

The slider for cost might be more interesting later if you attract artists that sell Unreal-only assets for $500. Right now? Not very useful. What would be more useful is a slider for the amount of discount applied to an item. Some people like to grab items when they're 60% off or more, and that's difficult to find. Difficult usually means, "bounce".

Combining the cost and % off sliders could net a Daz+ filter with no extra work.

The site is slower. Maybe there's more people looking while I'm here, and the traffic is causing bandwidth issues. That's good and bad. More people means more stability, and I'm all for that. But new people might not appreciate the speed. In particular, it's slow when clicking the store ad or cycling the store ad or bringing up the main sale page. It's also slow today when clicking an artist's page link in the sale page. The "Loading..." box with the swirly rainbow dots is becoming very familiar to me.

I'm disappointed the Search results didn't get the same treatment for card size. And really disappointed that we're still limited to a magic 40 results that never remember I want to at least see 80, or preferably All at once.

Product Library is a MAJOR UPGRADE. I'm here a lot. The speed is a lot better, but that might be related to what someone else posted -- there's no page advancement. You can see the most recent 40 purchases. And that's it. Please don't do the Search treatment and give us options for 40,60,80 with the memory of a goldfish. Just give us dynamic scrolling. Please.

Do you have "All" set for "Items per page" set on the main website? Change it to 120 or 60, and the page navigation will show up at the bottom of your product library. (But if you change to "all" on the main page again, they'll disappear again.)

I don't like to be bothered by file format designations.

I use DAZ Studio Content. That should be enough in itself.

I'd love the chance to tell the store to keep all that game ready stuff out of my face.

That's in your product library. You have to change Items per page setting on the main store page. On your main store page you have options 60, 120, and All, and it's "All" that's causing problems that spill into the product library page when I tested it several times.

    Greetings, Forum Friends:

Like the old song says, "The times, they are a-changin'".  This post regards those of us who obsessively still use legacy DAZ and Poser from the period when they were relatively compatible.  To search in the shop and wishlist, we previously clicked on the "Poser" category to filter that content.  Does "OBJ" correspond to the old "Poser" category? The file types in that category include:  Prop (PP2), Pose (PZ2), Character (CR2), Figure (CR2), and Camera (CM2), Scene (PZ3).

Anyone else sentimental like me? I have a hefty collection of "legacy content" that I've purchased.  My first invoice was for DAZ Studio software.  I took a trip on the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine to find the exact version.  Here's what I got:  "Last updated on October 1st, 2004. DAZ|Studio release (version 0.9.8.5) is now available!" I got the Low-Bandwidth version because of slow dial-up. Victoria 3, Michael 3, Millennium Kids, Aiko 3, Hiro 3, David, Stephanie Petite and The Girl were "New DAZ Original Items" back then.  FUN!

Meanwhile, some of the legacy content has found new life.  Some of the content creators have made conversions and refits available so some of the legacy content works with Genesis.  As of today, my wishlist includes legacy content that I can sort by manually typing "Poser" in the Software category.  While I do not work with game-ready assets, I can appreciate that they're available here.  Cheers on all of the new content choices!

Thank you for all of your hard work!

    Cat
