Here is a thread to discuss the new look of the store and features it offers or that have been removed. Your ideas would be appreciated.

The "Game Ready" banner in search filters is quite distracting in an already-busy UI. (attachment 1)
Could we eventually get a link to the download page for owned products? Maybe up by the ratings? (attachment 2)
I'm often getting an overlap in the pagination controls (desktop, fullscreen window, 1080p) (attachment 3)
Thanks!
I agree, the game ready thing in the filters is a bit much. While the primary format "duf" is listed under "other formats". We know you're excited about the new stuff, but "game ready" is of absolutely zero interest to me.
I'm sure there's marketing reasons in play for the "You save $x.xx" text on product tiles, but ever since that was added I've always felt that having three different numbers, all formatted differently, times a bunch of visible tiles is information overload (the end result being I don't pay attention to any of them, just the list price and % off at the top of the tile)
Similarly, the file format is nice to know, but having it on its own line takes up real estate and adds more visual clutter. All the file format labels have the same 3-characters length, font, color, and placement - it's more noise than info. Also, if the file format is already a feature of the product naming convention itself, the extra label is redundant/noise.
Right now the tiles are huge and busy. imo, less is more and prioritizing the tile art itself would make a better focus. The design team might experiment with utilizing left and right margins on the same line to compartmentalize (but I still think less is more - right now it's a lot of text, icons, colors with product images kinda buried in the noise)
There are a few products with multiple file formats offered, in that case having a separate line for the format is useful
Talking about format, I noticed that some products have "BLEND" as format but that option is not available in the filters. Not sure if that was a deliberate choice or not.
And I agree that the big "Game ready" icon in the filter box is distracting.
A collapse all filters button would be nice. I am not refering to the hide all filters button.
The DAZ+ filters could be incorporated with the other checkbox filters instead of a separate blue link above the filters.
I have noticed that the main store page takes longer to initialy load. It throws me off because I am used to going to the page and then interacting. Now I have to wait a bit before interacting.
Found something weird. Go into the search bar and search for dance
The filters do not include "poses and animations"
Now select a figure (i picked g9)
Now the filters do include "poses and animations"
I don't care for all these filters. The older way of sorting left us with a mix of what's new and all that. Now I come to the store and the default are all these game ready figures already dressed, there were like 3 pages until I figured out how to diable the FBX and OBJ versions but it was still this continuous crawl trying to find other items besides dressed figures. I guess DAZ is heading into a game oriented selling push rather than catering to us old timers that want environments, props and whatnot. I really wish there was a way to just put it back to where we are used to it and then we can gradually enable filters we want or need. This "throw it in your face" new filtering system is just a really huge turn off for me.
It's a game of trade-offs, since everybody is looking for different info at different times. (Including a clear view of the product's cover art)
Left is what we have today (the kitchen sink), right is closer to what I'd like to see (more minimal), middle is a goofy hybrid of the two
Edit: switched to png
I agree that the big Game Ready box is intrusive.
I miss the filter to see Daz+ items only and would like to see it added back.
I also miss the ability to filter by software - I still use and occasionally buy Bryce and Carrara content and it is now almost impossible to find it in the store.
While it's preserved on the main search listing, this informative footer has gone missing in the carousel, and on the grids on the main daily promotion page:
Given that the store still regularly publishes products with Genesis 8 support, and even a few that are exclusively Genesis 8, but product names are frequently too long to display the part that states what figure they are for, losing this information at an easy glance isn't really a good thing for anyone. Also, I think it's good to be able to tell at a glance whether an ambiguous promo thumbnail is a character, hair, clothing, whatever.
If new formats are going to be injected into the store, then I can see that yes, file format might be important, but it really needs to be handled with something like Cam Fox has above so as to not lose the information we had before.
Please restore the "Show Only DAZ+ Items" filter. As a Premier member it was very useful to me.
Boy Charlie ... you are one persistant cocker spaniel. Good doggy.
All this game ready stuff use to be on a separate website. I guess DAZ has determined they need to promote on main DAZ store to increase product adoption by DAZ customers.
As for the promo badge and the GLB/FBX product dump is just entering the DAZ store with a big splash. It is not permanent. They will tone it down in a couple of weeks. They have done this many times before for other strategic launches.
And just a reminder if you only want to see DUF file format products then login to the store. Choose DUF and save preferences and by default non-DUF items will be filtered out and you can always change filtering to see FBX/GLB when ever you want.
While their choices are not my choices, I do applaud that they are trying new things all the time. Companies with stagnant marketing are bankrupt companies. They try things if it doesn't meet their expectation then they drop it and try something else.
To the DAZ marketing team, cudos, at least you keep try to advance the company. May I suggest try making virtual focus groups out of new and veteran customers (I am NOT refering to surveys) to test your marketing idea pre-visualization and when basic concept presentation is prepared. This does not have to be a huge time and money investment to yield out-sized benefits to marketing spends. Just my two dollars. Hey what can you buy for 2 cents!?!?
This pagination search box display and not functioning is NOT a super happy fun time feature.
I am struck by one main thing with the game ready content. It's very drab compared to the standard materials.
Right. The Product Library. On balance, it's a slight improvement. I would appreciate more filters & more sorting methods (sort by bought longest ago, that sort of thing).. Otherwise no complaints. It is nice to be able to filter by figure. But some of the props are associated with a figure and that seems odd. Ness Period Reproductions 'Regency Tableware' comes up under the V3 figure filter. When there really is nothing V3 related in it at all. Odd, that. One thing about that tableware prop, it's a perfect match for Aynsley 'Georgian Cobalt' top end crockery and it converts to Iray brilliantly. The only thing it lacks is a metallicity map for the glossy bits of the gold pattern.
Artist list, it would be nice to be able to sort alphabetically rather than by how many items of theirs you have. How do I know if I have 5 or 30 Mousso items? And why would I care? But I need to know to be able to look in the right place in the artist list.
Regards,
Richard
I quite disagree with @richardandtracy . Product library OS flat broken. 40 items, no way to see more. Repeat after me. Items per page: All. Also it's odd to have a quick filter for wishlists on stuff we already bought, unless that's to fix the problem where stuff we bought is still on the wishlist. And finally, need way to filter by most recent purchase, oldest purchase, sort by order number,
I agree we need Daz+ only filter. Hide Daz + would be nice to have.
Glad to see a price filter. That will be useful.
I agree the game ready labeling is a bit much.
@richardandtracy and @Torquinox
Cleaning up the product tags and product information to obtain correct filtered results seem like an excellent job for DAZ to use an AI agent.
I get this at the bottom of the store pages. This is from the outlet store but I get the same on the main store page. On the main store page it looks OK when the page starts to load but part of it jumps sideways when it finishes,
I'm using Edge on Windows 11 Pro.
To the website developers, while you are building the perfect website, please ADD sorting by percentage discount to the main store page with an ability to filter out the current Outlet Store and Quick Grab items.
I know there are add-ons to do this, but I have confidence in you, I know you can do it. You just have to try.
I like the new Wishlisted yellow banner at the bottom. The yellow heart in the corner was often hard to see.
I do miss having the "wishlisted only" checkbox at the top.
I second that.
I agree, if it's a wide label it could start to get in the way of faces/focal points in the product art. Also a hypothetical wishlist bubble so close to a wishlist heart would be redundant, but people seem to appreciate a label more than the little heart for a quicker/easier read. For me, the issue is having green, magenta, yellow, teal, blue, red, covering each product tile in pages upon pages of listings, while the product art is also vying for attention with its own colorful detail. Fatigues my poor brain. Some of it is just getting used to the new look, some of it is probably how my particular brain works, all of it is liveable with extra coffee. (But they asked for feedback!) :)
Well, I shouldn't be the one testing the site for Daz, but since I did some nice OS shopping this morning, here is my goodwill for the day ;) and a discovery:
The page numbers/navigation at the bottom of the product library don't show... if you have infinite scroll enabled on the main store page (Items per page->All). If you change to Items->60 or 120, the page navigation will show up at the bottom of the product library. Click "All" again in the main store, and it will be gone again.
I know it's on Daz to fix this, but until then, anyone struggling with browsing their product library can try it and see if it works for them too.
Also, once "Go to Page" by the pages navigation is closed (with the X button), there's no way to bring it back without reloading the page.
I hadn't tried to change the number displayed from 40. It was 40 before, so I feel we're no worse off, no better off, but no worse, either. I did mention about sorting by longest ago/ most recent bought, so we agree there. Personally I don't feel that calling it a 'Slight Improvement' is a particularly ringing endorsement. I have never come across the issue of items not being deleted from the wishlist (rarely have as many as 60) when purchased, so haven't had that irritation, and it would colour my view too, if I'd had it. But the old product library had no base figure filters, so this is an improvement.. if marginal and nowhere near as good as it could have been if a programmer had just used it themselves for a minute or two. Regards, Richard.
FWIW, I'm generally OK with the new store changes. Glad the devs are keeping things fresh/moving. I'm getting used to a few of the changes, but liking most of them.
FYI - If you happen to use the "DAZ Deals" extension, I recommend disabling it until both the new DAZ store web changes and the "DAZ Deals" plugin stabilize and get back in sync. When enabled, many (25%?) of my Product Library items disappear (*many* low SKU items for sure - e.g. Vicky 1/Micheal 1, and I can't tell for sure what others are missing...). Disable the extension and they all reappear.
First-pass recommendations, General:
- Filters: (re)add a enable/disable DAZ+ visibility button - both are useful when looking for DO coupon items.
- re-enable prices in the 'recommended for you' strips that appear on many pages
- why no "Vicky 1 and 2" figure option in the 'Compatible Figures' filters like the "Micheal 1 and 2"?
- I'd love an 'invert filter' button, so I can see everything but the checked items.
- (eta) - Filters: filter on file-type is good, but needs all filetypes including blender/vue/bryce/carrara/etc.) I see some being added over time, so this may already be a WIP. I'm not sure why this isn't configured with check-boxes like the other filter-sets, and the 'game ready' image is wasted real-estate to my eye.
- possible to add a general non-DAZ series figures option for non-DAZ rigged bots and toon figures (sadie, bots, toons, star, cookie/chip, etc.)?
Product Library:
- add a 'sort by' in the grid mode too, (maybe make it a separate button from the list/grid buttons)
- In Firefox, the initial Prod Lib 'goto page' option only let me enter 2 digits - I need 3.
- I wonder that the default click-on response on items in in the prod library could be a pop-up with details & DL links rather than a full-page refresh/change - at least on the Desktop browsers.
- I like the floating page count at the bottom of the normal store view, it would be great in the Prod Library and Wishlist too!
Hope this is useful...

Something's broken with the wishlist. I have only 6 items on mine, but it only shows 4 even if I uncheck "hide Items I Own".
