    Best thing I ever did on an old forum that used to get spam botted- Cut them off at the knees. Enforce a security question @ registration that a bot can't answer. No math, no alphabet, no colours, etc. Something specific to the website/industry. If they still get through that, then your problem is human and/or targetting you specifically and they took the time to actually code the answer into the bot's program.

    When someone asks, I tell them that I'm a Nothing-American, because I put nothing ahead of my country.

    I remember in high school, when a teacher asked an exchange student from Brazil how he liked it up here in America, he replied, "Almost as much as I like it down there in America."

    If these forums were being spammed in Cyrillic, and someone posted a question about "weird Russian posts", I doubt if anyone would be offended. But then, Russians have thick skins. It's those damned Russian winters...

    well it's not like any other country in Europe uses the Cyrillic alphabet with variation so that anyone from anywhere could instantly identify the country of origin on sight and idenifty it as distinctly Ukrainian, or Bulgarian, or Belarusian, or Serbian, or Macedonian, or Romanian. 

    Can I still say Europe btw?

    It would have to be pretty old spam if it was Romanian and in a Cyrillic script.

    I  have no interesting, how yours  use word "t Europian or American or African,, American indian ,, etc,, " ,. but  I do not use these word with bad thing in officall forum where many region guys join when talk about bad thing.

    Isn't Romanian a Romance language? ("Romance" as in derived from Latin.  Not "romance" as in related to amorous relationships.) i.e. Spanish, French, Italian, Portugese, and Romanian.

     

    One advantage of living in major world city is exposure to many cultures and languages.  I lived in Washington DC for a couple decades and rode the Metro often.  I heard a lot of languages being spoken among the varied passengers and I made it a game to try to guess their origin based on their language.  One day I was stumped.  A family of about 5 or 6 were talking among themselves and I could hear snatches of what sounded like Spanish or Italian or Portugese.  It definitely wasn't French but it was not the others either.  Finally after examining the dress and facial features of the people I came to the conclusion that they must be Romanian.  I'd known a Romanian couple before who were good friends but I'd never heard them speak anything but English.  I don't know if my guess about the Metro travellers was correct but it was an interesting experience.

    Yes but for a period a Cyrillic alphabet was used for writing in it, apparently Transnistria and the local Orthodox Church still do.

    I know OP  use "Asian" as language or character.  . but actually if you use "Asian" as  language or character,Asian may  say  there is no language , which called as "Asian" . I believe. 

    and there is no additional meanig. Asian is simply of Asia. or people who live in Asia.  or in English , Asian = asian character ? 

    then Leather Gryphon is Asian ?  why I ask it ,  (actually I have seldom interesting, which nation user  belong to)

    we  can not talk about how Asian user feel, without  there is  Asian. 

    Though I may be, really strange Asian man. and  most of Asian may not feel  as same as me..

    (some Asian user might hope me,, please stop anymore,, you are Asian shame,,,, then I  stop it

    Kitakeoredaz, I'm still not sure what you want people to call that part of the world if your against the use of Asian as a general referance that is not a reference to a single country/people.

    The point of those emails is usually just to get someone to open them, or maybe just to see if they bounce back. The bots often just make up email addresses and then spam en masse looking for the addresses that are valid.

    There are a lot of Asian artists using Daz. Go to Deviant Art and search the 3D category and you will find quite a few amazing artists. I don't know who's reading the forums, though. Only a small minority of Daz users post here.

    Not for long.  We mods got into a habit of logging them out permanently
