For people that may have overlooked it due to the somewhat confusing wording, that first special gets you 15 free items from the Genesis 1-3 category with the purchase of just one new debut item, (not fifteen items for $2.99 each.) Its a pretty great deal if there are older things you want from there. You'll average about 50 cents a piece for the stuff in there if you can find 15 things you want and buy the cheapest new debut item.
I'm not sure if people are overlooking this or they just don't want the old stuff. For example screen attached, there are better items in the selection, I just threw some things in there to test.
You rock. Thanks for the info. :)
That was totally not clear from the promo text. Thanks for clarifying this!
I’m not interested in poses in general, especially not for old figures, but some of the qualifying sets come with environments or props that can be used with any generation. Here are the interesting ones I found:
EDIT: That sale mode was apparently a bug and is no longer working
Does anyone know when the punches expire? Does it have to be used after a couple of days it appeared? Thanks
I think the 15 x g1-3 for free was an error, too many PA products there that are not usually offered free, much less 15 for a single debut.
My cart just skyrocket. And worst is, it no longer works without coupons, there goes the debut new as is pointless now. I don't know what i would get, maybe nothing. Is not that good of a promo and i don't want to purchase unnecessary stuff or pay extra, even if is double token day.
Basically yes. You get one punch for $1 (or more) purchases on each of the 3 preceeding days. So if you don't make purchases for 3 days you bwon't have any punches.
Oh ok, thanks
...+1
I have bought very little in the way of G9 content, just a few characters by RawArt and Oso3D that stand on their own (totalling about 12). These only need the basic G9 essentials and elements to use, Getting content for the "normal" stable (read, "human") G9 characters on the calendar and speciial items in the sale (even free) is pretty much a "pass" for me, Same for "skimp-" and "fetish wear" along with "overly sexy" and "suggestive" clothing (which I seem to be getting more and more of on the calendar in recent days).
I paid $2.99 for items and did a frantic double-take at this, lol. Sounds like a glitch sale!
I use this trick for (otherwise) slow cart removals: add any item from any page - you can then quickly remove items from the cart using the popup panel that appears.
Today's Knight Before discount is 94% off, and DO Discount discount is 97% off. I might spend all my money today.
Another Nice List "texture for item I'm not into," another "roll eyes, shrug, move on." Because I've gotten some very nice things off that list.
Yesterday I accidentally missed picking an Advent option because I am sick & was half asleep. I think I mistook another item in my cart for my Advent choice. LOL. Today I don't have a clue what those offers were, other than they were WL. So obviously not in my WL Top 10.
I may take advantage of the KNIGHT-B4 offer today.
The armor was offered a couple of weeks ago as part of the 'On the nice list' system.
thanks :) that explains it then. I rarely turn down a free offer, including the armor texture today. One never knows when I might need a roman guy with armor at a museum door or something.
Confession: I keep hoping https://www.daz3d.com/the-last-vampire-hunter-hd-dforce-clothes-and-weapons-set-for-genesis-9 will turn up on the Nice List... the outfit on either side of it for release timing has shown up, after all...
I don't have any need for a vamp hunter per se, but taking off the stuff explicity for staking the undead leaves something I could definitely work with.
KnightB4 gets 86-90% off (10) with 3 punches, the offer-coupon and 2 diligently-saved tokens - A very nice offer on ~8500 fantasy/medieval/knightly items including 580 7/8/9 bundles
...couple of % more off (20) if you want a Debut-New buy-in
(fill ya stockings!
)
I don't think that's code, and you don't need code. You'll get an extra 50% off* Fantasy Featured Artist Items "with any Debut New Release".
Today is on par with the best times before, (Premier+8 Tokens+ Debut New+ Use code CHRISTMAS-50) most items are 92% off.
If you missed it, you can purchase it now, or continue to wait, and my store points are already running out...
One is free for everyone, the other is possibly free just for you and is free only up to the moment you have decided if what you want is the free item or the 2.99 one.
When everyone has the same price, it's easy and worth to put that page into the server cache, to serve it faster to everyone, but when the server needs to check if a someone must have access to the same page as everyone else or a specific version of that page, performance will take a hit.
If you want to have an idea on the difference, see how fast loading any page on the store is compared to loading your cart, which unlike products' or sales page can't be put into cache.
If people wants to easily see Daz Originals under $50 in their wishlist, they can use the bookmarklet created by @Utiltarian:
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/742841/extra-shop-filters-bookmarklet/p1
Price range works on the discounted price, so don't forgot to take into account the discount members have, so if you have a Premier membership, the price range should '0-3250' and if you have a Daz+ membership, the price range should be '0-3500'.
Because it's based on the discounted prices, they are plenty of items with a base price over $50 that will be shown (the most likely culprit are bundles which can be removed by using one the filters from Utiltarian) so not all items filtered will be eligible. But it's still a usefull tool to trimmer a long wishlist.
Picked up Kayla 9. Thanks, and merry Christmas to the guys at Daz.
oops... right off the FREE DO item from your wishlist is a blocker for me as I have no DO items in my wishlist. Bummer that. I should have had Kayla in there. I've been waiting for her to come down in price.
Good deals otherwise for me today. Just have to figure out if I'm buying or wishing today. I'm already way over my budget.
Wow... such a generous offer from Daz with the DAZMAS coupon; it makes me feel bad that I'm leaning toward https://www.daz3d.com/mhe-vegetables because, unlike a character or a lot of the higher end stuff on my WL, I know I'd actually use a bowl of spuds.
Ditto.
I'm DAZ+ and my punch card is full, and the Nice List display offers product 104497, which lands in my cart at a fair discount, but the promo says "FREE", or $5.99 at the most. I can't see any fine print that disqualifies me. Any clues as to what I'm missing? Thanks and Merry Christmas.
Hallelujah!
Disciple
...indeed. picked up Return to the Enchanted Forest.
The Chirstmas-30 coupon was nice as well, got a few of 3DJoji's items that were already on the wishlist before his store closes for good next week.
If you're using CHRISTMAS-30 or CHRISTMAS-40 be sure to test with and without a Debut New in the cart as well. Depending on what else is in the cart (and your other stacking discounts) you might end up getting the Debut New nearly for free.
Well that was a nice christmas surprise! TBF most of the Daz Originals still on my wishlist are above $50 MSRP (e.g., bundles), but I added Polish's Old Library whilst bulking up my wishlist in November, so I grabbed that. Pretty neat!
Hopefully I'll be home tonight in time to monkey around with the other sales. Merry Christmas, everyone!
@Disciple et al, the nice lost items are here:
https://www.daz3d.com/certified-nice-list#index=0
Sadly, https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-hexenblade-hd-armor-for-genesis-9 is not listed, though it was once a nice list item.
I am bummed about that. That was the *one* day I missed this month!
