I rendered Genesis 2 female, and I originally uploaded it at Posetteforever as DazLovers since Oct 24, 2018
and still here
I used Daz Studio 4.10 Render with 3Delight
Genesis 2 Female/Giselle 6, Genesis 2 Head Morphs,
Creature Creator For Genesis 2 Female(s)
Kyoko Hair MK-3
And edited with Photoshop Cs5
@ItsAaron: So this is a selfcreated character of your own! Very nice stylized character with painterly look (esp. eyelashes look like they must have been quite some work) - thanks a lot for the artwork and also for telling us which morph sets and hair you used!
Morph i used Giselle 6, Genesis 2 Head Morphs,
and Creature Creator For Genesis 2 Female(s) for faerie head
and the hair is Kyoko Hair MK-3, that's all ;)
Many thanks @ItsAaron!
In the 1980's and 1990's the UK's Victorian towns had been neglected for far too long. Too little investment, contracting industry, high unemployment, and too little care over the environment. It filtered through the towns into a general lack of effort. Here is an image showing something of what it felt like at times.
Fortunately, the neglected buildings are now - by and large - appreciated and complete towns have benefitted.
FW Naida, Rattlepaws, Little Urban Disaster, 2 Northern Terrace Street Back Yards and Northern Terrace Street. Naida's clothing is from RPublishing PeaceKeeper G3F (can't remember the shoes) and she has Juliet G2F hair by SWAM. The sun-sky settings are UltraScenery XT Materials and Skies Early Morning - worth getting in a sale for the sky settings alone if you do outdoor scenes, even if you don't have USXT. Needs more rubbish on the street, though. In the early 1990's our council street sweeper contractors came round the Victorian streets every 5 years (the 'Posh' bits of town were done bi-weekly), just before contract renewal, and left the muck to build up between times. In a couple of streets (ours included) the residents swept the street themselves every now & again because no-one else was going to, least of all the people paid to do so.
Oh, and the same style of terrace houses appear in the industrial towns in the south of England, they aren't restricted to the North, I do think the name is slightly misleading. The houses in NTS are a price step above my first house (no bay window) and a step below my second (with an inset porch and an eyebrow roof over the single story bay window).
Regards,
Richard.
Here is Genesis 2 female with some dial-in morphs. She is wearing Gaia for Victoria 4 (Dress textures are a freebie from the 2025 Fantasy Attic's Annual Halloween Gift, Halloween Gaia Gown by GlassLady) and her skin texture is Marvlynn V4 by Shadow_Dancer (Also from the gifts page). With her is the Millennium Cat with a free texture ThaiCat for DAZMillCat by czarny_jednorozec84 and the Owl pendant by emanuela1 also a gift. The environment is one of the free backgrounds from the halloween gift page by EarwenM. The trees are the Dark Trees here at DAZ, Traveler's spooky tree and jacko'lanterns. Dreampaint's forrest set, Xfrog's bushes.
She Walks Among Us
@richardandtracy: Many thanks for that complex render - and what I especially love is the lighting - so incredibly beautiful! If you look at the right side, how realistic the wood texture comes out - so cool! The cat sceleton with the character's indifferent expression is a great idea. Indeed, you can see everywhere, how surroundings can affect the lives of us in a positive or negative way. Very realistic looking render with a message, thanks again!
@DollyGirl: What a wonderful Halloween render! Gaia looks really impressive on your beautiful and intimidating character - a lot of mistery surrounding her. Great use of the props - many thanks for this elaborate render, that somewhat feels like a modern painting to me! Thanks also for reminding us of the freebies available at https://www.thefantasiesattic.net/halloween/2024/index.html!
This one is about https://www.daz3d.com/dj-remixed by zoro_d which includes headphones not shown here. The character is https://www.daz3d.com/p3d-quinty by P3Design using the original IRAY(!) texture. Hair is https://www.daz3d.com/hs-mirage-strands-hair-for-genesis-9-8-and-81-females by Hair Studio which is available atm at Quick Grab for $2.79 (premier). Oh, and the pose is from https://www.daz3d.com/classic-pin-up-standing-poses-for-victoria-6 by FeralFey (not shown in the previews for some reason).
@mding Now that's a lovely, contrasting image, banish indistrial decay with an image that's bright, pretty & fun.
@DollyGirl, showing what can be done largely from freebies. I do like it. And the principal, too, even though I don't/can't always follow it.
I've updated the product links in my image (try to do it with a real computer rather than a tablet because it's much more difficult) and added a mention of the sky settings I used.
Regards,
Richard
@richardandtracy: Thanks, Richard, your comment really made me laugh hard
But it was planned, before I saw your remarkable artwork, so definitely no such intention, lol.
I will confess that when I sat down in front of my PC at 20:25 I had no idea of the image I was going to come up with. I tried the G3 clothing on Naida, Juliet hair and an Ironman pose, and suddely thought she was looking an 'Urkk' look. What could make it? The rest came quickly and by 21:40 the machine was shut down having transferred the image to my tablet. Doesn't often flow so well.
Regards,
Richard
@richardandtracy, thank you and I agree Greek mythology is pretty convoluted. I just think of her as Mother Nature and don't worry about the other things. Freebies can get such a bad reputation. I think because one has to do a little more work to get them to show off. A lot of people don't want to do that so they render the as is product and is shows the faults. Don't you just love when you don't know where you are going with something and then something pops out. Nicely done.
@mding, thank you for the kind words. You too have a beautiful and fun render.
"Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen. And good evening."
"Meet my lovely assistant."
I am planning to do some more, as a short story.
The coat and hat is from G9, but I needed it, so I pinched it.
@felis: Wow, that looks very promising - now I'm really curious about what is going to happen next - thank you!

Love me some G2.
@Greybro: Wow, such a professional comic with g2
So impressive, many thanks!
As I couldn't find you on the net, is there a place you published this comic?
https://www.daz3d.com/jewell-hair by SWAM
Genesis 2 is still a very capable character and with a few good assets in the Quick Grab and Outlet Store you can whip up some nice scenes.
Painted brows could have been substituted to get a more realistic image, but this is just POC. BTW the character is Gia. https://www.daz3d.com/gia-6.
That looks like you took a photo of a woman in the Meditteranean!
Love it.
@Tugpsx: That looks incredible - what a realistic portrait you managed to achieve with octane render
Many thanks!
Thanks, there are a few nice assets in the Outlet for these older figures that get overlooked due to age, but they are still useful.
This one uses DE Zuri for Monique 6, Rikki Hair for Genesis 2 Female(s), Iconic Attitudes Female Poses, Get Funky Josie
@Tugpsx: Beautiful and again very impressive render! Thanks also for sharing the assets!
That looks very impressive.
Regards
Richard
"My assistent will now get into this box."
"I will close the lid, and put these two nice steel plates in."
@felis: Ok, I can fell the tension rising ...
It was published in Daz Creative Magazine which you can find here.
Many thanks, @Greybro! Unfortunately all links to issuu seem to be dead, maybe the issues have been removed - how very sad!
I got you. Click to see the enitre 7 pages of this serial. I set it up on my server for you.

I can do al ittle better on the cover. I'm multi-tasking at work.
That is a wonderful comic @Greybro, I love it - great posing and expressions, storytelling and paneldesign! The cover looks absolutely awesome, I hope the other forum users also have a look at your (g2) comic - many thanks!!
That is so kind of you to say! It was a lot of fun to make.
