Just a quick heads up: Except for Lily-Fae, Tinman, Scenescapes, and village_1_Houses,  the ones you mention only have Poser shown as compatible software.

So, those of us who are only DAZ Studio users need to pay attention to what software each MV product works in.

I can not see why a lot of those mentioned as Poser only would not work pretty well in DS, particularly the props, and certainly the characters. I think the props come with certain light set ups that would be poser only, but I suspect the props themselves and the textures would look work just fine. If you are rendering in iRay, any lights, even for 3DL, need to redone anyway, so that is only a small downside.

The one product that will not work in DS at all is facial-a-hairness (as mentioned in another thread) since this uses Poser dynamic hair.

Yes, I'm not at all sure they won't work in DAZ Studio.

In particular I'm interested in these items that only show Poser as compatible software:

    https://www.daz3d.com/santa-suit

    http://www.daz3d.com/black-flag-bundle

Does anybody have them and know for sure whether or not they will work in DAZ Studio?

I don't have the bundle but I do have Scarlett and it works fine in DS, the mats need a bit of tweaking thats all.

Agreed. I bought Alchemy which is listed as being for Poser, but it works fine in DS. I saw the Poser tag, but decided to roll the dice anyway since it's something I had on my wishlist over at RDNA, glad I did because the set it great. So (at least in some cases) the poser tag doesn't always mean exclusively poser. smiley

What is the full discount supposed to be when you buy both a newly mad and an artist mad?  Because I don't seem to be showing the dicounted prices I think I should see on the Mortem Vetus stuff.  Just wanting to make sure what the math should be.  Mine is usually wrong which is why I ask.

Less 50%, less 30%, less 30% should be a total discount of 75.5%

    Thanks!

Quite MV also does alot of products that can be used in a variety of situations, http://www.daz3d.com/the-forestals just love these I use them with the Genesis Figures, same with his Frost Lords set and several others. As for being Poser centric they are one of the few venders I buy off  who do not support DS.

    inceditiable renders :)

    Thank you Ivy.

This is a really quick render of the Scarlett clothing set autofitted tpo G2F nothing altered or tweak and rendered in Iray. No postwork.

Presumably, we're running into the final week (days?) of March Madness. Will it end with a blast or a fizzle? What has been the precedent?

Render Studio for Iray! Colm, you're awesome!  I've been waiting a long time for Render Studio for DS and now it's even better that it's for Iray' :)

    Really unsure about it...

looks like a great set, but i see nothing that i don't allready have in some form: plenty of light sets (painters light, scintilliant portrit lights, etc) marshians Projector, lots of shaders for backdrops, etc.

so the question is: is it is worth the 20$ (after all discounts) to get all this in a fine tunesdset...

Still haven't found anything to use my other PC+ coupon on for the month, but Pirate Knockers got me Girl 7 for a total of $10 so can't complain about that~

I thought the same initially, especially since I was drawn to it by the potential for special effects, which, like you, I also have pretty much all I need now to put together my own. However, once I'd taken discounts on other items into account that I wanted, what with it being the 'Mind Blower' today, it seemed worth it for what it consisted of. I'm really glad that I bought it now, not for the special effects (which I have hardly touched yet), but for the more 'normal' stuff - it's had a huge impact on my workflow and productivity to have lights, cameras, render settings etc on in one place and not have to go faffing around looking for everything, and the lights themselves seem very quick, even on my machine. I'd swear I've got more work done today than I have all week, and I'd expect the product to pay for itself pretty quickly. No regrets here.

This would be the reason. Render Studio really is a fine tuned set. Yes, I have loads of other lights too. LOL But Colm's first RS (with tons of add-ons) was the other reason I opened Poser back in the day. It's all in one folder so no bouncing back and forth and scrolling up and down, and it's all works perfectly out of the box. And after that you can tweak to your needs. I can't wait for more add-ons. :) The Monochrome pack was my favorite out of all of them.

Go to RDNA and search Render Studio (the original one, not the one marked 2014) and see what may be available here one day. :) This is marked as RS base so more will be coming!

To Colm: Monochrome Monochrome Monochrome please. LOL

Edit: Astracadia already saw the benefits :)

They are running out of March for the hinted GoFigure release(s). For me the only thing left till Christmas is the Habsburg or the new GoFigure product(s), won't know which til the GoFigure gets released.

The Girl is $18.88 at 58% off. BUT...

I just got The Girl for $1.71.  Put two of the required items in the cart, and she is the featured item that gets an additional 30%, that made it $7.71 then I got the $6 off with my Platinum Club discount code. Sweet. Wouldn't dream of paying that outrageous price of $45 for her, but $1.71, her morphs can be added to the gene pool for sure. And Lauren is a decent The Girl item, you can get her for $8.98 if you use her for one of the two required items. Just a thought, this ends in a couple of hours for The Girl to be that ultra discounted item.

Lilflame isn't the only one... Stores for Sabby, Fred Winkler Art, and Godin are also missing the discount. (There is one item in Godin's that is 40% off. There are two other items that should be discounted, one from November and the other from December.)

But if they haven't fixed Lilflame by now, it doesn't look good for today. Fortunately they will be in the list a day or two more...

LOL...I just got through talking myself out of getting The Girl!

So far, I've talked myself out of getting a lot of things, but I think today I'm going to blow the last of my store credit and get the Render Studio Iray. I'm reading a lot of good things about Colm and the product...

With the extra 15% off for the catalogs, after the 50% off if you buy both bundles, that would be what percent?

100.00 x 50%= 50.00 x 15%= -7.50 so that is $42.50 (out of 100.00 for the 100%) so 100-42.50 is 57.50. Am I correct then that you're getting a discount of 57.50%?  That's not worth buying TWO bundles for a 57.50% discount off catalogs IMO. Did I do this right? (Late at night, tired.)

EDIT: And of course the catalogs aren't discounting correctly, not giving even the half off. Sapphire Hair (24.95 is doing 21.21 in cart with both bundles in the cart. Should be half off AND 15%.)

I sure wish they would change the related items. Again, it's Star and MV. We've now had those FOUR days. (or more, lost track.)  People have had enough chances to buy two items and get discounts with those vendors!!!

    Text say excluding New Releases

For non new stuff it works. I have Stonmasons Poolhouse in the cart for 13,74 that 66% off what sound about right.

Another Question with the G2M category i think about getting one of the Pro Bundles since I dont have the G2M gens so far.

is 38,26 a good price or should I wait for a higher discount?

I managed to get the Lee 6 Pro Bundle, Mei Lin 6 Pro Bundle and The Girl 6 Pro Bundle for $10.60 each in mid Jan but that involved all sorts of stacking discounts and buying the G3F Zombie Bundle (at half price) so don't know if that combination is going to come around again.

    ((($100.00 - 50%) - 10%) - 15%) = $38.25 or 61.75% off these catalogs: outoftouch, Raiya, Stonemason, and ShanasSoulmate

So that's 50% off for 2+ MM items, an extra 10% off for the DMBs, (looks like two DMBs don't stack today,) and finally, an extra 15% off the four featured catalogs. All other catalogs will get the 55% off—50%, then 10%—not counting the Star and MV Related Mad catagories and their "boosters."

That's if you're getting the extra 10% for The Girl though. Without it, was my math right?  EDIT: Oops, I see that Stonemason's the Daily Mind Blower so that's the 10%. Got it. Your DMB didn't register, sorry.
