Not quite the same thing, but I find Stonemason's Dirt shader really handy for every period. ;)
I was inspired to go pick up a bunch of the heavily discounted Stonemason library I don't already have... heh.
More like this one: http://www.daz3d.com/elven-temple
Oh yesssssssssssss!

Over the years I've seen two main theories: he is a robot or he is really 20 people. He's sets are fantastic. Always.
yes I am one person, backed up by everyone on staff at DAZ3d and relentlessly pursued/inspired by the talent of a couple hundred DAZ pa's...
as for hints to whats coming?.I have a couple natural environments similar to enchanted forest out soon and some more in the 'streets of' series, urban sprawl 3 is always getting some attention, and I have also made some more clothing sets for the Streetwear brand...and other bits and pieces :)
not yet...but soon
had to google that and still got no idea what it is...
.is it just fantasy type castles and environments?
I dunno Tai Tastigon, but for me there's things like odd and impressive monuments, structures that would defy our own technology to create much less that of a simpler time. Or impossible locations, like spread across an archipelago of hovering islands connected by bridges and stairways. Or in the lap of a giant meditating colossus. Or inside a volcano... A castle with parts held suspended in eldritch magics powered by rune inscribed walls...
How about something like Greeble Blocks, but medieval? That should be easy. Maybe do it over a weekend.
(hahaha)
Grieval Blocks? Now, that's something I'd buy! You could make nice backdrop sets from something like that.
Well, it's somewhat hampered by Medieval style buildings not typically fitting in neat blocks, though if Civilization and other games can manage it... might be worth studying to pull it off.
Actually it might not have been that big a challenge - at least to most people's perceptions (difficult to say too much without spoilers) it would be a fantasy city. Kothifir might ber more fun, or the Master's house - but only after reading the books.

Thanks Keyra, I have that though and wrote a review of it a while back. It's decent, but also rather flawed.
I think the problem with a very stylized fantasy set is that it won't be as useful to as many people. The best-selling fantasy environments seem to be the ones that will fit into the widest variety of fantasy art, like Faveral's Medieval Town and old Castle Creator set.
omg if stonemason made an evironment like something inspired from Final Fantasy XIV...I'd probably cancel my phone bill for a month LOL.
Natural environments? As in plural? Oh boy. Time to adjust my discretionary budget for March - again.
Greetings,
Pardon me, I just had to comment... More Streetwear?! SQUEEE!
...
...okay, I'm better now.
:)

True enough, but one can dream.
Dear sir, where might I read that review?

It's short and pretty simple, but I tried to make it point out the things that a potential buyer would want to know. Thanks for taking a look!
Thank you so very much. I'm headed off to read it now.
That was extremely informative, SnowSultan. I was aware of the Cornucopia3D products one mesh approach, but I did not know about the shared textures. I have only seen them go on sale once in two years, aside from entire store 50% off sales. Thanks for taking the time to write a review.
I read it and agree while you could use the geometry editor to fix all the issues you would want to get it in a heavily discounted sale to justify the work!
Faveral like Stonemason makes everything useable as separate props which is why they are two of my favourite vendors.
I myself think Medieval is done to death in the 3D world, we have many choices here and elswhere, I would love to see other eras like Roman, Greek, middle eastern Biblical times.
Not all of Stonemason's stuff has separate props, so you may want to double check the listing. Anything that's only preload and doesn't list props, may want to ask before buying.
I'm glad you mentioned that. I had been thinking that Stonemason was overdue for a Streets of Jerusalem set. It's perfect for him.
For the curious, I think I can turn Greeble City Blocks into a more 1940s/1950s era look, but the scale doesn't lend itself to going completel medieval with texturing. ;)
Thank you fool and Maxamillan for reading my review, I'm glad it was helpful.

Very true. I've learned how to use the geometry editor well since writing that review, but it's still really time-consuming to try and separate individual props from a set like that. Some things don't always have polygons where they're usually hidden (like if you tried to separate two buildings that were adjacent), so even that technique won't always work.
>>I myself think Medieval is done to death in the 3D world, we have many choices here and elswhere<<
I do too, but you can never have enough! ;) Especially when you combine little bits and pieces from a ton of different sets to make things unique (like this I made from a Faveral Medieval Town house a while back: http://fav.me/d696hr9). That's why modular parts can be so useful.
One thing I like about the cities in Exalted, they're not all medieval European. :) One thing I want to do if I can ever manage to get Chinatown is just hide/replace all the modern elements. (neon signs, AC units, vending machines, anything with English writing) And then try and fill it with the most unusual fanstastic creatures and people I can find or make.
Cornucopia3D's products are originally created for Vue(so I assume, since Cornucopia3D owns Vue), and then exported out as obj files and used to create props for Poser and DS, that is why they are rarely proper figures, with opening doors etc.
Homage to Stonemason, attempting to make the Greeble city blocks look less SciFi:
