My goldfish will not do my laundry for me.   Guess I will have to do it for myself after dinner and my pain killer kicks in for my ankles.

Yes, Katie did some damage around here last night :( (nothing expensive for me - I was quite lucky)

Right now I'm just relaxing with a can of Greene King IPA, enjoyng the last dregs of the four day weekend . . .

Beer sounds good - time to go home and get one!!  Glad you didn't get beaten up too badly...

is good it was your turn for luck :)

I'll take all the luck,  blessings, and good vibes I can get!  Mmmmmm beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer.. devil

...sending good vibes your way as best I can.

Yes beeeeer, nice to know it doesn't affect your glucose level that badly.  Stay away from wine and cider though, even the "dry" varieties have more sugar than beer does.

...oh and some mellow "vibes" as well...

(a piece I used to perform on piano).

The handle is a litle rough on the hand for sustained support, but that'd make a good headknocker...!

...saw a nice hardwood cane at the convention I was at the other  weekend The handle looked sort of like a stylised hammer head, good for bopping someone on the noggin.

New complaint: I'm looking at a $1700 laptop. surprise

WTH is wrong with me?!?!? I don't use 1/3 the power of the machine I currently have!!!frown Geesh!!!!

But OMG this laptop will take 64GB OF RAM!! surprise I could load 3-4 full orchestras of instruments into that! surprise   Of course I don't use traditional orchestras.. erm.. blush

    HELP
    ME

    crying

    CORES!  MORE CORES!!

was lookin at HP desktops with hexacores. was in the near 2k range.

LOL, well, considering I don't work in 3D any more, more cores won't do me that much good!  The RAM would be nice, especially if I try moving to real film scoring and need seriously real orchestras.. those things can be 8-12GB for just a string section!!! surprise But if you want to play with the big boys, you need the tools.. le sigh. frown

..If I ever win that bloody Megabucks, I can build my dual hyperthreading Octo Core, 128GB RAM, x4 Nvidia Pascal GPU beast.  If my scenes ever exceed 16 GB during the render process, at least I will have 32 CPU cores and a boatload of memory as a backup. No swap mode on that baby.

Hmmn... 64GB RAM in a laptop.  Does it include a griddle top and spatula?

    ...+1

    Nice tune!

Yeah, cider does horrible things and so does wine.. way too much sugar in either, and some "sweet beers" are about as bad (fruit beer is the worst, but yecch, I don't like fruit beer).

..went for the vocal library expansion, seems the orchestral folks no longer take Paypal.. so they lose a sale.  frown If I need a better orchestral library, I'll get it from the same folks I got the vocal library from.
